We are a FUN and ADVENTUROUS family of 6 who lost our son to SIDS in 2014. Our biggest regret was not having family videos of him when he was here and is why we started doing daily vlogs!
Thomas is a 2X North American Champion in his kick-boxing career and Ashley is a network-marketing professional and speaker in her company.
Together we have 5 year old Identical twins- Simon & Cohen. Our son Miloh was born 12/12/13 and passed away 5/20/14. We were blessed with our Rainbow baby Ezrah this year on 03/02/17 and we have loved sharing our every day journey with our followers and are looking forward to where this journey takes us!
Okay, that saw is very loud.
I really hope you guys can't hear that.
Now he's done.
Now that I'm, okay, nevermind.
Just kidding.
What's up, guys?
Today I'm coming at you with quick and easy ways
to make your house smell amazing.
I just realized my husband is sawing outside,
so if you can hear a saw in the background, my apologies.
But my son is down for a nap.
My other boys are distracted right now,
so this is really the only time
that I can hurry up and make this video.
So just bear with me if you hear the saw.
I could make this video be like 25 minutes long,
but I wanna keep it really short and sweet and to the point.
So let's just jump right into it.
The first thing I wanna go through
are different ways you can use essential oils.
So these are my very favorite kind.
Really any kind that you wanna use will work.
The first thing is to take out your air filter
and drop a few drops of your very favorite essential oil
onto the air filter.
This will just naturally make
your entire house smell amazing.
The next one is something I don't always do,
but if guests are coming over,
I can hurry up and just put a few dabs
of my favorite essential oil onto a toilet paper roll.
So every time someone spins the roll,
you will get a nice whiff of essential oil.
While we're talking about bathroom,
this is something that is a must-have.
This is called Poo-Pourri.
If you are not familiar with it, you're missing out.
So basically, you're supposed to spray a couple spritz
in the toilet before you go.
Number two, it just diminishes the smell.
I don't know how it does it, but it works like a charm.
This stuff is about $10 to $12.
It does last a long time,
but if you wanna go the route of a DIY,
I'm gonna show you exactly how to do that here.
Another quick and easy way is to grab a car air freshener.
My favorite scent personally is Gain
because I think that smell is amazing.
So grab a car air freshener and clip it to a vent.
So every time the vent blows air,
you will get the nice whiff of whatever scent
that you have clipped to your air vent.
My next tips are a few different ways
you can use Unstoppables
or any other type of the little laundry balls.
One of the ways is to fill up these little tiny bags.
I got these at the dollar store
and it comes with a pack of eight.
You just fill these up.
You can stick them in all sorts of different places.
I like to put them in a linen closet,
any of the drawers that I have my underwear or clothes,
and in closets as well.
This keeps everything smelling nice and fresh
like you just got out of the laundry.
One of my favorite things is when I open up my linen closet
and it smells like fresh towels.
That's why I always keep a little bag inside of there.
Another way that you can use the Unstoppables
is to fill up a candle warmer with them
instead of the little wax cube.
Another one is to get those really cheap candles
and fill them in around it and light that candle.
Now one of my really old school tips with bounce sheets
or whatever your favorite dryer sheet is,
is stick them inside of your shoes.
We have always done this.
If shoes are ever starting to kind of wear out
or smell at all, we will slip some dryer sheets into it
and it will prevent those smells.
Moving on to the fridge.
Your fridge can very easily get a little bit stinky.
And so if you pick up some Arm & Hammer fridge and freezer,
there's one specifically for this.
This box is only 78 cents.
Just stick it inside of your fridge or your freezer.
Baking soda is known to absorb any smell.
That's a great way to absorb any weird smell
that's coming from your fridge
that you don't know where it's coming from.
Another quick way to really freshen up your house
and to make it smell fresh instantly
is to use carpet refresher.
Now this is super cheap, you guys.
It's only $1.97 and it comes with a lot.
I can usually get a few different times
with my upstairs and downstairs out of one of these.
But if you do not have some at the house
and you happen to have baking soda
and some essential oils on hand,
you can easily just mix them together
and make your own carpet refresher.
One of my last tips for you
is to use good old-fashioned Febreze.
And again, my favorite scent is game.
If you can make my house smell like laundry,
I'm all for it.
So one of the last ways I like to freshen up my house
is to just go around and spray my curtains,
sofas, carpet, really anywhere in the air,
I will just spray.
And that is a quick and easy way
to instantly make your house smell great.
Okay guys, well that basically concludes my video
