Filling My Garden Beds With Spring Colour & More 🌈😊

Today I’m doing three jobs I have been putting off in my garden:
(1) Planting out the Winter Pansies I sowed from seed back in August. Oh my goodness they have taken forever to grow, so let’s hope it was worth the effort or I don’t think I’ll be doing that again as I’ve been nurturing them and giving them valuable space in my tiny greenhouse for the last 5 or 6 months!
(2) I managed to persuade my wonderful garden assistant Richard 🤣 to sow some sweet pea seeds around one of my obelisks after I saw the lovely Brie from the YouTube gardening channel “Brie The Plant Lady” (highly recommended) show us how easy it is and tell Is that now is a good time to do this. I never have much luck with sweet peas and I said last year I wasn’t going to bother with them any more. But Richard’s golf friend Ron gave me the packet of seeds so I thought I’d better plant them!
(3) The new borders we planted in the front garden a few months ago are covered in weeds and so I quickly went out there and pulled them all up.
All in all, quite a productive Sunday morning, with a few more jobs ticked off the “garden to do” list.
