Minimal and Affordable Student Desk Setup 2021

Although the focus of this desk setup is centered around, being a student, I really do think this desk setup is great for anyone, especially if you're a young professional or if you're someone who wants to create a minimal and affordable desk setup. The laptop in this setup is the M1 MacBook Pro 13 inch. So the latest 13 inch model in space gray. It is also the base model. I really didn't find a need to need more power, especially if you're a college student, I think eight gigs of RAM is perfect. And I also think that 256 gigabytes of storage is solid and you can always get an external hard drive if you need more space. I think that this is a great option as a laptop for any college student or young professional. For one, you can catch this laptop on a sale for a really great price. When I was a CS student, I remember a lot of my professors having MacBooks, which made setting up my environment easier, getting help with projects and labs easier as well. I also have a very low-key vintage BMW poster from KIF that balances well with the other supercar posters. A lot of students have been taking online courses, labs, and seminars. A matter of fact, some people have their entire curriculum and courses through an online platform. So having a nice set of speakers can make a big difference when it comes to learning and consuming content. Something about adding plants to a desk setup where there's that blend of nature and technology really makes your setup stand out, adds a pop of color to it, it makes it feel like fresh, if that makes any sense, but really it just adds vibrance, of course, personality, depending on what plants you decide to purchase. I wouldn't spend a ton of money on desk plants.
