Tonight, instead of the normal November 2020 Garden Tour, I thought Iโd take you on a trip around my neighbourhood to have a look at some of the first houses which have their Christmas lights up. And so I went knocking on their doors to get their permission to film their beautiful front gardens and do you know what, they all said yes! So I hope you enjoy this Christmas tour of all the beautiful gardens belonging to my neighbours.

Hi everyone, I am on location, location in my neighbourhood and there is a very good reason
for that and the reason is because I was supposed to do the November garden tour but I did not factor
into that equation the fact that when I get home from work it's actually dark so there would be
nothing for you to see and in fact to be honest there's nothing much to see in my garden that
is any different just a lot of twigs and also a lot of leaves so I had the brilliant idea
I popped into the post office on my way home from work last night and when I was driving there I saw
some gorgeous houses with Christmas lights absolutely gorgeous and I thought why don't I do
a garden Christmas light tour of my neighbourhood so I came home to Richard all excited at my
wonderful fabulous idea and he said Jeanette you can't go around filming people's houses
and putting it on social media and I said to him well the way I look at it as people put beautiful
lights up wanting people to look at them so it must be okay but he convinced me that let me cross
the road he convinced me that it wasn't morally correct so I am going to knock on everybody's
doors who and ask them can I please film your beautiful garden lights they may well say no and
oops they may well say no whoops mustn't show it yet I haven't asked and in that case there will be
no garden light tour video but I can assure you that all the ones that I show you
I have full permission so I hope you enjoy this I'm going to knock on the first door now
let's hope they say yes he said fire away
that they all said yes aren't people lovely in fact they were quite delighted each one of them
so um yes that's the November garden tour and I hope you enjoyed it I'm sorry that I didn't do
my own garden tour but you can see that anytime this is far more fun thank you for watching
