Guys, Cars Unlocked here with another video.
Today I'm showing you the 2020 Nissan Rogue Special Edition.
So there's about a $1,000 markup to go up
from the regular standard S-Rogue
to this Nissan Rogue Special Edition.
And for what you get, I feel like it really helps
with the value of the car and it's worth the extra $1,000.
I'm gonna show you what you get on this special edition
that doesn't come standard.
But before I start, guys, don't forget,
subscribe to my channel, Cars Unlocked.
If you have any questions,
just drop me a comment in the comment section below.

And don't forget, today's sponsor is Shine Armor.
If you wanna know how we clean these vehicles down
before we film them for you,
we use Shine Armor's fortified quick coat.
Use my coupon code CU10 at the link in the description below
to get 10% off your final order.
Let's get started and I'll show you
what they have on this S-Rogue.
When you look at the side profile,
you can see this one's obviously in the Caspian Blue.
When you have the standard model,
it's gonna come with the black handles.
This one comes with chrome handles
with this special edition, that's a bonus that you get.
And you also get the roof rails
with this special edition package.
So you add the added roof rails as well.
Continuing along with that chrome and silver,
the regular standard Rogues come just with hubcaps.
This one you move up to 17-inch rims.
So if you're not a hubcap person,
you could spend the extra $1,000 for the rims
and the value is pretty much right there
in these 17-inch silver rims alone.
Standard on all these Nissan Rogues
is that forward emergency braking.
That comes with all of them.
You can see they flattened out this Nissan emblem
to put the sensor right there
and it's gonna help prevent you
from getting into a forward collision.
The V-Motion grille is pretty prominent.
There's not really any additions
with our special edition on the front.
Under the hood, it's gonna come
with a 2.5 four-cylinder engine.
Gonna give you about 170 horsepower
and 175 pounds-feet of torque.
It is the Nissan CVT transmission.
Again, you guys can comment away
about how the CVTs are junk.
However, they're cheap to manufacture
and very good on fuel.
This one's gonna average about 7.5 liters
per every 100 kilometers on the highway
and about 9.5 in the city.
On the Rogue that I drive,
I currently do about 8 to 8.5 city highway
is usually my fuel economy.
I do about a combined driving,
so very good on fuel.
Let me know what you think about the power plan
of the Nissan Rogue in the comments section.
The rear of the vehicle,
it's gonna come with our LED taillights.
Our Rogue and then we have our special edition badging
right on the trunk here.
That's how you know
that this is that special edition package.
Nice trunk handle, it's right below our license plate
and our backup camera's right below our Nissan emblem here.
Just an ordinary regular key,
no fancy key with this special edition Rogue.
It is the flip key and you have the lock and unlock,
so nothing too special about the key besides that.
On the interior, you do get some added value
by going up to this special edition package.
You get the heated and leather wrapped steering wheel,
so really helps in the winter time to have a heated wheel.
There is a lot of standard features already
on the Nissan Rogue that come standard,
like our blind spot monitoring,
our heated front seats make it very good
in combination with the heated wheel.
And then we also have this seven inch touchscreen here.
Now navigation doesn't come standard,
but you do get the standard Apple CarPlay
and Android Auto,
which you can connect by plugging in your phone
and use the apps you have on the phone
to have a GPS right on the screen here.
In the S model Rogue, you get the regular heating system.
This special edition,
you do get the dual zone temperature control,
so you can have one side hot, one side cold.
Normally, you get this only when you go up to the SV,
but with this special edition, you get it standard now.
In the backseat of the Rogue,
you can see I'm a little higher than the front seats.
They call that stadium style seating.
That's just to add to the comfort,
so I can see out and above the windshield.
Not standard on the Rogue is the tinted windows,
but with this special edition package,
you get the rear privacy glass.
So these two back windows are gonna be tinted out for you.
That's gonna help prevent your children from the UV rays.
It's also gonna give you a little more privacy.
39 cubic feet of storage capacity
in the trunk of the Nissan Rogue.
There's lots of space.
I did a Nissan Rogue versus Nissan Murano comparison video,
and we actually learned that the Nissan Rogue
has more cargo space interior-wise
than the bigger vehicle, the Nissan Murano.
So there's a ton of space back here.
It also comes with this divide and hide storage.
That's what everybody likes, makes this Rogue really unique.
You can really adjust these shelving units
any way you like to organize your cargo.
You can also fold the seats down.
It's a 60-40 split.
You can fold them down there,
and then that's gonna give you
about 70 cubic feet of cargo space.
So a ton of cargo space, lots of different options,
versatility in the back of the Rogue.
So to conclude, for $1,000 extra,
I would probably go up to the special edition
if I was purchasing the S-Rogue.
You get the heated wheel, you get the aluminum alloy rims,
you get the roof rails, the chrome handles,
the dual temperature control,
the leather-wrapped steering wheel.
The special edition badging, that doesn't mean anything
to me, but you get a lot of value for that extra $1,000.
So if you're considering buying a Nissan Rogue
and you got a budget of 30 grand or less,
I would consider this Rogue S-Special Edition.
That wraps it up, guys.
