Hi everyone, it's Michelle Barada and welcome to Bella Branch TV. Today's DIY
is a springtime DIY. What we're gonna do is we're gonna take letters and we're
gonna cover them with silk flowers and I got these parts from the dollar store. So
all the flowers I got came in bouquets that I got from the dollar store. So I
think the whole thing I spent maybe four dollars and then the letter for this
project I got at Walmart. Super easy, super cheap, but it looks so cute. Look
how cute this is. Can you see it? Here's an L. This is for Lily, my daughter, and I
think you guys are gonna like this project. So you ready to get started?
Well come on! What you'll need for this project is a letter out of wood or
cardboard, silk flowers, glue sticks, a clipper or scissors, and a hot glue gun,
and a ribbon. First thing you're gonna do is you're gonna take your clippers or
scissors and start cutting the buds off the top. And there's so many different
varieties of flowers that you can get. You can get big flowers, small flowers,
buds, roses, all different kinds. Once you cut your buds, the most important thing
is that you're gonna see that you may have a little extra at the top. You want
to nip that as close as possible so it'll sit nice and comfortably when you
glue it to the letter. Now it's time to glue the flowers down to the letter. And
you kind of want to make it so it's not symmetrical. So I started with a big
flower first and then I'm gonna add a medium-sized flower, maybe right under it.
I'm gonna add all different flowers throughout to kind of make it a really
cool look. And you're gonna continue adding the flowers until it's the way
you like it and until you cover the whole letter. I think that looks
fantastic. I'm gonna add one more thing. I decided I want a little green in there
so I'm gonna add a few leaves throughout the letter. Now it's time to add the
ribbon so you can hang it from a wall. So I took about two feet of a satin
ribbon and I folded it in half and then I'm gonna take it and glue it to the top
of the letter. So I need to flip over the letter and I'm gonna hot glue it down.
Once that's dry, which is very quick, I'm gonna flip it over and I'm gonna tie a
bow at the top. And we're done! Look how beautiful! I hope you guys loved today's
DIY. I think this one turned out great. It's super easy and I think it's perfect
for springtime and you can use any color flowers and I hope you guys love it. Be
