NYC Apartment Tour 2018_2019

Hey guys, welcome back to my channel. It's Paige and today I am finally doing an apartment tour. I hope you guys enjoy it because I know this is a super requested video. So let's get right into the video. So this is what my apartment looks like whenever you walk in. This is a little overview and you can see the kitchen right here, the doors right here, and then we have a trash can. I'll show you guys the kitchen first, but this is a little overview of it. This is where we keep our keys. This little sign is from Ikea. This holds all the utensils. I got this from Amazon. And then we have a dishwasher right here, which is full right now. A paper towel holder. This little sign I got from HomeGoods. A drying rack for dishes. This is the sink right here. Under the sink, we just have a lot of stuff, you know, cleaning stuff, a blender, all that good stuff. So it is really full under here. And then in here we have some pots and then some Tupperware. And then we have the Keurig up here, which I use every day. This K-cup holder that I got from Amazon. Another sign from Ikea and a toaster. And then this is an air fryer, which I don't use too often. I really don't know how to cook in it. So let's go back over here. So this is where Christina keeps a lot of her plates and cups. So this is all of her stuff right here. And then over here, this is where I keep all of my plates. So I have all my cups, plates, all that good stuff, some ramen. This is where I keep all of my food. This is not organized at all. I know, I used to have it organized and yeah, it just didn't last long. This is my side and then this is Christina's side. So that is all her stuff. And then up there, which I cannot reach, maybe. And then up here we keep extra toilet paper, tissues. It's not that organized, but it's fine. This is our microwave, which is really nice because my last apartment did not come with one. And then below it is the stove. And there is some storage, which we have some things in. This drawer has silverware in it. Just, you know, some other things that you guys don't care about over there. This one has a bunch of random stuff. Command strips, tools. So the next drawer down here, this one just has some rags and oven mitts, stuff like that. And then the fridge is right here. And above the fridge, we have more food items. Not really that organized, but we really try. And then this is the fridge, which is pretty empty because I'm going home for a month. Christina's going home too, so we just don't have a lot of food right now. This is the freezer. We have an ice cube maker, which is amazing because I never see these in New York apartments. That was really it for the kitchen. And then going this way, we have the living room. I'm going to start off this way. We have this clothing rack right here from my old apartment. This is from Ikea. And then I have a pair of Docs right there. This lamp right here is from Amazon. And then over here, we have the couch. This couch isn't the best. We were going to get two of them. I was going to buy one and then my roommate was going to buy one. And whenever I bought mine, I bought the last one, which kind of sucks. It turns into a futon, but it's kind of low. I mean, it looks cute and it's from Amazon. We have this rug right here, which is not real. I think it's from West Elm, but I'm not sure. I'll try to find it and link it down below for you guys. This coffee table is very old. It is from Amazon. And then we have some books on top of it. And then we have these two little chairs right here and they kind of match the couch. So that's why we got them. So we got these instead of the couch because like I said, it was sold out. And then we have a plant over here. This is fake. We bought a plant pot and stand for it, but the pot was way too big and the stand broke as soon as we got it. I'll put a picture right here of what it's going to look like. But for now, this is what the plant looks like without the pot and the stand. It will look a lot cuter whenever it's finished. And then we have these two pictures above the couch and then one right here. These pictures are from Decino and I'll link them down below for you guys. But I got white frames for them because I thought that looked really nice. And then over here, we have a window, but on this windowsill, we have a fan because this room gets so hot. We didn't want to buy another AC unit. So I just have this little fan here. I have some coasters. I have a little Christmas tree for now. By the time this video is up, Christmas will be over, but it will still be December. So I think that's okay. But this Christmas tree is from Urban Outfitters. And then the ornaments are from Home Goods. And then over here, we have a bar cart. I think this is my favorite thing in the apartment. So this bar cart is from Amazon. I got these glass containers from Amazon. They all have water in them because I thought it just looked better. It's actually water too. I swear I'm not lying. There's a wine glass holder right here. We're missing one, but we have some wine glasses, more wine glasses, and then these flowers that this company sent me. And they're so pretty. They smell so good. And there's a little candle in the center. I think this is just so cute. I love the way it looks. And then we have a mirror above it, which is from Amazon. And then to the left of the bar cart is a closet. So this closet, this closet is really messy. Closed for a reason because this is just a complete mess. We store a lot of things in here. We have a printer, vacuum, broom. We keep camera equipment in here. Yeah, we just have a lot of stuff. We also have suitcases in here. And then I also keep some coats in here, more stuff above it. So that is everything in this closet. And then we have a hallway. So we put these paintings on the wall. It looks super cute. I forget where we got these, but I'll link them down below for you guys. Got the three different black and white pictures. And then this door right here is to our bathroom. So this is a little overview of the bathroom. So there's a mirror right here and it opens up. I'm not really gonna go into this because it's kind of boring, but we have a bunch of products in here. We have a lot of stuff. Below it is the sink. We have a toothbrush holder right here, a soap dispenser. This flower is from the same company that gave me the flowers on my bar cart. And then we keep some stuff in here. This is my side and this is her side. And I'm not really gonna go into this either. We have a drawer right here. We have mostly hair stuff in here, a little trash can. These like bathroom cleaning things. This is a toilet paper holder. And over here we have the bath mats. And if we shut this door, you guys can see we have a towel holder and some towels on the back of the door. And then the shower is right here. So if you open it up, we have a little shelf, actually a big shelf. This shelf holds a lot of stuff. This is hers and this is mine and it's overflowing. There's just no way to keep this all clean just because we have so much stuff. And we have this divider right here. So this is my stuff, that's her stuff. So yeah, that's really it for the bathroom. So next to the bathroom, there is a door right here and this is where the laundry is. We have a washer and a dryer in the apartment, which is very rare in New York City. So whenever I saw this, I was like, I am sold. On top of the dryer, there are two baskets. So this is mine and this is Christina's. So I just keep all my laundry stuff in here, Tide Pods and Shout and stuff like that. I randomly have a curler in here, but yeah, I just keep all my laundry stuff in here. Also, we have a drying rack, which is amazing. It's like one of the best things I bought. You don't really think you need it, but once you get it, it changes your life. Yeah, this is all it for the laundry. This door right here goes into my roommate's room, Christina. She's going to do an apartment tour too. So if you guys want to see her room, I'll link down below her video once it's up. And then this is my room. Once you open my door, this is what it looks like. The room is like an L shape. So I have like this little space whenever you first walk in. And then this is another overview of the room. So we will start right here. So whenever you walk in and I'll close the door, this is the space right here. And I have a sign that says, do what you love. I'll turn it on. I got this from eBay. And then I have a little box right there. And then this is my closet. So down here, I have my shoes. Then I have the shoe rack that I got from Amazon. This hamper is from Ikea. And then I have all my stuff hanging right here. I have these two baskets right here, and then this box and a random pillow. And then on this door, I have my earrings and my necklaces. I got these white necklace holders from Amazon and they came in a pack of four. So I have two of them right here. And then on this door, I just have one bag hanging. So that is everything in my closet. Over here, I have my book bag, this basket with a blanket from Amazon. This is my nightstand, and I'm not really gonna go into it because this drawer has bras and underwear. And then this drawer just has socks. And these are just not organized very well. And then I have a coaster right here, an oil diffuser. We're gonna turn this on. This oil diffuser is from Amazon. I have these flowers that my boyfriend got me. This lamp is from Target. Between my bed and my nightstand, I have a tray for my bed and also my laptop case. Next to my nightstand is my bed. And my bed is from Ikea. These two white silk pillows are from Amazon. And then the two big pillows in the back are from Pottery Barn. Two pictures above my bed, which are also from Desino, the same website that I got the pictures in the living room. Next to my bed, I have two shelves. And I just have, I'll stand on my bed, my bags and my shoes on these two shelves. So I just have some bags and shoes right here. And let me get down. I have this white rug that I got from, I forget. I'll try to link it down below. Also under my bed, I have these two storage units. These are from Ikea. And in this one, I keep my pants and sweatpants. And then this one, I keep all my sleeping stuff in this one. So, you know, just shirts, shorts. These are the best if you live in New York because you need all the storage you can get. A little bag pillow right here. These gray storage bins from Ikea. I have a window right here. In my window is my AC unit. And then on my windowsill, I have tissues, this marble slab from Urban Outfitters, some Q-tips, lotion, lotion, perfumes, this candle, my cactus. And then I have this light for my cactus. And I just have this so my cactus gets enough light, but it makes my room super cool. Like I'll shut off, here, I'll shut off my light. See, my room is purple now. So I just like how it looks. Ooh, super bright. So over here, I have a desk. This is from Ikea. And this chair is from Ikea, too. This chair is clear, but I just have this throw over top of it from Amazon. This pillow is from Amazon. A little trash bin. And this book holder that I got from Amazon. And I got it for my school books, but I don't have any right now because it is winter break. All my makeup is in here. And this, I know, it's just such a mess. It will never be organized. I have this mirror right here that I got from Amazon. I know everything is from Amazon. And then I have this Impressions vanity. This vanity is so bright and you can dim it. So I'm just gonna keep it off for now because it's just way too bright. It is amazing for doing makeup. And I have a promo code for you guys if you guys wanna check it out. I got these two containers from Amazon and I just keep all my makeup brushes in them. So that's everything for the makeup vanity. And then I have my duffel right here. This mirror that I got from, can you guess, Amazon. I have my fanny pack right here. And then I have this shelf from Amazon and I keep a lot of my bags on it. The bottom shelf has two books and then a sunglass case. This shelf has my wallet, two candles, and a bag. This one has my book bag. This one has my sunglasses and I got this sunglass tray. It's not even a sunglass tray. It's literally just a normal tray from Amazon. And I put all my sunglasses on it. This shelf has my Fendi bag. This shelf has a bunch of random stuff. Then this shelf right here has my Gucci bag. And yeah, that was actually everything for my room and basically my entire apartment. So yeah. If you like this video, make sure to give it a thumbs up.
