In this video, we take you to Te Anau, and some of the glorious wilderness it has to offer in Fjordland National Park! During our stay in New Zealand, the road to Milford Sound had collapsed and we were unable to go, but we found plenty of trails and in this beautiful region of the South Island like Te Anau Lake, Eglington Valley, and Lake Gunn Trail!

He's still following us?
You have to say that.
What's up P Nation?
So we didn't spend a lot of time here in Queenstown although this is like the place to be.
Zach and I aren't really ones for like extreme sports
and we did a bunch of hiking yesterday so we're actually gonna move on.
However, the time we did spend here in Queenstown was absolutely remarkable.
Uh-oh, there are the remarkables.
The mountain chain that like borders all of Queenstown.
It's so beautiful here.
Like the views here are absolutely beautiful.
Some of the most beautiful views we've seen while we've been here in New Zealand
but we are moving on to Te-a-nau? Te-a-nu?
Te-a-nu? However you pronounce it but we've got to get on the road.
So we've just been sitting here having lunch, looking at the remarkables,
enjoying this beautiful field of butterflies and watching skydivers over in this field.
All right and this is where I slept last night.
No, I'm just kidding.
We had a nice place to stay.
Behind me is Te-a-nu which is where we stayed last night and then here's the sound.
Boats are currently going out that way all the way to the sea
and the mountains that are back there are normally snow capped
but we're here at the end of summer so they've melted
and we're about to walk down this beach and it's going to be so relaxing.
Is it cold?
Yes, very, very, very, very, very cold.
Look at the stream coming out of the rock like so random.
See we're just driving along looking at the mountains
and then you see something like this and you're just like what is going on?
Stuff like this that makes it okay to be in a car for four to five hours a day
in New Zealand because it's just beautiful and it never ends.
Now we've made it to Eglinton Valley where a glacier thousands of years ago
carved this entire valley and what's interesting about this is usually
and if you've been driving through New Zealand like we have
you'll notice that there are tons of just rocky riverbeds
but instead of rocky riverbed down here it's this beautiful valley
and it just has all these grasses and it's absolutely spectacular for taking pictures.
And the best part is it's off-season and we have the whole thing to ourselves.
This is amazing.
Down the road we have made it to Muir Lake
which is apparently the best place to be if you want to see the mountains in the reflection.
There is no snow on the mountains right now
but that's okay because it's still going to be beautiful.
This is one of the most beautiful and calming things I think we have experienced on our entire trip.
This Muir Lake is actually mirroring the mountains right in front of it.
I just usually don't find that the name matches what it actually is.
This is really cool.
And what's even crazier is that the water here is not only reflective
but it is so clear you can see the trees five meters deep.
The Muir Lakes are so peaceful and if you're wondering why no one's here
it's because the Milford Sound is actually closed.
There was a flood and the road is shut down and so we can't see it either
but that's okay because the nature is amazing here
but it's really nice to have these things all to ourselves.
So we lose one to gain the other.
So we can only go so far north on this road that's heading towards Milford Sound
but we're going to take you on a hike to show you the beautiful trees
and the beautiful forest that is up this way.
What does it want?
You need to sing.
He wants you to sing.
More singing.
He's gonna run away.
He likes you.
This is a sign.
He's coming closer.
No come back.
He's aggressive.
He wants Leah to be his.
He's still following us.
First it approached me.
I thought it was a joke like oh this bird's coming close to me.
This never happens.
Let me act like a Disney princess and then it started getting really aggressive
and I didn't like it.
I didn't like it at all.
This looks so prehistoric.
That looks like spider's legs don't you think?
Oh yeah.
How spongy.
Maybe it's a different bird.
Same bird.
Better watch out.
And it like stretches almost like a third of the continent or not the continent.
Is this continent?
The third and it's...
This one looks like a dinosaur.
There's the eye.
There's a smile and there's his hair.
