One of the questions that I get asked is why do I support Anlin so much as a window product? And there's a, I mean, there's a long answer and a short answer, but I'm going to go with the short. The reason I love Anlin so much is the everything that they put into the design of this window, all the components that they use, they use nothing inexpensive. Um, when you're talking about vinyl, there is the rumor of all vinyl is the same. Well, that is simply incorrect. You have good vinyl, you have great vinyl, and then you have horrible vinyl and the horrible vinyl is going to be the windows that you can readily just pick up at any hardware store and pop into your house. That's not a very good vinyl. It's a very inexpensive vinyl. Um, with this system and there's going to be a lot of other high quality window manufacturers that are going to use titanium dioxide in the vinyl blend. So when they extrude it, it has this blend in it. The job of titanium dioxide is to repel any UV rays from the window, especially on the outside, um, where most of the sun is going to come into main contact with the window. And you may have seen some replacement windows that have kind of a yellowing discoloration or a powdery look to the exterior instead of a nice sheen finish as they should. It's a bad quality. It's a bad quality vinyl. The good thing about Anlin is you're not going to get that with an Anlin product. They do have the titanium dioxide. The other thing that I really like about Anlin windows and there's going to be other manufacturers out there that use it is Cardinal glass. Um, Cardinal glass is a upper echelon of the, um, the glass world. So if you're going to use a Cardinal glass, Anlin uses the 366 with a neat exterior coating, triple low E standard. So that's going to be exactly, if you order a window, just, just a natural window, you know, additions, you're going to get this style of window with triple low E argon flooded inside standard. You don't have to up any of that. It's going to come standard with that. Now another thing about the Anlin product is the warranty that comes with it. The warranty is what they call a true double lifetime warranty. And what that means is the double being your full life. If you were to stay in that house, you're going to have complete coverage of your window, be it glass breakage, components on the window. It's going to be covered for life and there's never any labor charges. So if you buy it and then 30 years down the road, you're starting to hear a boing in your screen. And the, the double hung window balancer gave way. Well, don't worry because Anlin will take care of that for you. Even 30 years later, it does not matter. So it's all written in the warranty. The other thing that I love about Anlin windows is that it is a smaller company. So you have other, you know, companies out there. I hate to name drop, but you've got Milgard, you have Pella. These are really large window manufacturers and they're, and they're known everywhere. You're not going to really know of Anlin. So this may be the first time you've heard of Anlin and definitely do yourself a favor and look them up on Yelp and look them up on their website, Anlin.com. Small family owned business and everything is built in central California at their plant. So the, the way that they treat the consumer is not the corporate way. They do it as if you were an extended part of the family. They want to take good care of you. You took time, you spent some money on their product, and they want to return the favor by making sure that you are happy with everything from the window design to any of the components itself going sideways on you. They're going to take good care of you.
