Hey guys, how are you? From Fabrizio Romano, a new update today for you about the future of Frankie
de Jong, Barcelona midfielder, because today we had some rumors from England saying that for Frankie
de Jong there was a proposal from Chelsea, an official bid for 33 million pounds to Barcelona
from Chelsea. I was doing my checks with sources close to Barcelona, to Chelsea and to the player
and from all sides the answer is no. There is nothing from Chelsea for Frankie de Jong,
no official proposal on the table, not even negotiation, because guys, as I said for Man
United a few months ago when we had rumors about Frankie de Jong and Man United, it's the same for
Chelsea. Barcelona have no plans to sell de Jong in January. The idea is to keep the player and then
let's see what happens in the summer, but as of now nothing has been decided. They want to protect
him, as Xavi said also in public, and to continue with de Jong and also Chelsea are looking for a
midfielder, but more for the summer than for January. For January the priority is the fullback
and centre-back, if not in January, in the summer, so de Jong at the moment stays at Barca.
