All You Can Eat CLAM BUFFET & SHORT RIB PHO Noodle Soup in Seoul South Korea

Whoa, this is really neat check this out. So this subway station has all these I don't know if you guys see these little metallic balls on the ground. So when you step on them Apparently they're used to just get rid of dust from your feet. I'm not really sure if this is like a covid prevention thing, but Never seen that before Whoa, there's a lot of people trying to go into this bakery. It must be good I'll swing by once things die down a little bit, but breakfast today going for ultimate comfort food. Hello Let's go It does look good and nobody is here Yeah Planet this way. It looks like i'm about to walk into a jungle or something Whoa, this is kind of cool Today's gonna be amazing food day. We're gonna have pho for breakfast then i'm gonna swing by that bakery I just walked past because I smell really good and plus long lines usually means really good because Koreans don't really like to line up for things So if you do see a long line in korea, usually good food and then tonight all you can eat barbecue clam buffet. Stay tuned first Look at this, you know, one of the best things in seattle, uh vietnamese food wise is the short rib pho They have it here gonna get that and then i'm gonna get a uh bún siêu The egg omelet dish that is very Gonna get that. Are you excited? I'm so excited. Do you like vietnamese food? I love vietnamese food vietnamese food for breakfast It's just the best thing because it warms you right up. Okay, let's let's do this The bún siêu it's it's in a multi-layered tower now. I don't know how authentic this is because it's just like pineapple here So I don't know if vietnamese people feel the same way about pineapples on the bún siêu like italians feel about pineapples on pizza But it's there this is definitely like a like a vietnamese Korean fusion kind of thing So the waitress wrapped it for us, of course the pineapple went in some veggies went in the omelet meat and of course kimchi But this is what i'm really impressed with short rib pho two ginormous short ribs In this bowl of pho covered in scallions. That is a beautiful Beautiful looking rib and on top of that inside the broth. It looks like roasted beef Oh that is ginger Short rib bone pho Is the greatest ingredient seriously if you go to a place that like gives you like a bone marrow I mean, you don't really need that. There's already enough fat in pho This a little tendon fat lean meat right off the bone. You really taste how deep the flavor is chase it Oh, this noodle is really bouncy, too Again, every bite full of that smoky charcoal meat flavor. This is so unique, especially because they put chives in here, too This is one of the most unique bowls of pho i've ever had There's so many flavors that you don't typically experience in a bowl of pho like the smokiness And the chive is all over each strand of noodle and each sip of broth This is tremendous, you know, it's good pho when I haven't even put sriracha in here yet after like the fifth bite I'm gonna build a wrap I don't know if i'm like committing blasphemy by adding pineapples on this or not I could already feel future vietnamese viewers freaking out about this. I'm, sorry. This is how they do it here Say what you want That's delicious. I like the pineapple. I'm, sorry I like the pineapple There's definitely a lot of fusion flavors and as much as I like the traditional version This is really good I love everything about this and this I like even better. I mean, I just can't have a bowl of pho without some sort of spice in there Seriously the chive What a move a genius korean people besides the whole Garlic bread fiasco a lot of stuff that they added their own flavors to or even just like a couple simple ingredients Like like the chives here genius move This is my first time having like this thin raw pepper. Oh, this is so good I'll eat this every day of the week It's like the flakiest airiest Crispiest lightest little puff pastry the way it makes you feel so happy. Oh my gosh. It looks really heavy it looks like I thought it's gonna be like a like a heavy chocolate dense thing, but it's the opposite complete opposite of that Hmm So this is some tea will be even more amazing This place is so far. Otherwise, I'd come back and try to try to get their croissant. Wow. Oh, yeah Well, we can come back tomorrow and try the croissant That's me and krista's happy food dance whenever we're excited about food All right, we're gonna go eat a clam buffet barbecue now Oh, that is definitely garfield. That thing is orange and it is chubs. We see another line. Yeah, it's a bread. It's bread And then yeah, it's really good Oh, I kind of feel like we need to get one now. That's a long line They're like the cream cube and if you put it a little bit in the microwave It's when you tear it apart. It's going to melt. I like it when things melt. Yeah meal Meal dough meal. So I got the last place this place. They're making a fresh inside. So all the bread everything all the pastries baked on premise I love just walking around the streets and in korea. You never know what you're gonna find. Unlike japan You don't actually see a lot of lines It's full-on raining now so happy I kid you not it rained like once since I got here and this is like the second time this area is near my hotel I i'm not really sure what this area is called But tons of food places not too many people and you got an auntie who's friends with the octopus If that was the substitute teacher that that was threatening to blow up the world once you guys know Don't worry. He's now a chef and friends with his auntie and i'm pretty sure She's gonna eat him. So the place i'm going to i've been before Many years ago like three four years ago, and I hope they're open right now This is the place. I absolutely love i've been wanting to come back here All you can eat clam shellfish basically seafood barbecue buffet. So this is the seafood portion. It's all live seafood clams of all Sizes and Varieties you've got abalone too, which is really expensive Some conch and some giant fan clams I don't actually know what these different clams are called But I want it kind of looks like a fan so a fan clam and there's more corn and cheese Cheese chicken lo mein you get ramen all sorts of punch on you got pork pork belly skewers squids All sorts of sausages eggs squid on a stick This is amazing all these seafood freshly grilled and when they're kind of popping their shells open with all that great Briny juice inside you just take one and just slurp it up No other sauce is needed And there's so many varieties of clams And just as many dipping sauces to dunk this in You can do gochujang with vinegar Love that. Oh love that fresh bouncy clams a little bit of spice and some citrus you can do Wasabi, and I think this is soy sauce That's really good too or what you can do is this dunk it into the cheese fondue The cheese by far is my favorite they put some butter in there with the cheese I was thinking this cheese looked a little wet. I was kind of wondering what it was soaked in. It's soaked in butter So you can imagine how bad and how good it is. Wow these fan clams. Oh my goodness Oh so sweet on its own you guys can't imagine how good this is To me cheese is decadent enough But leave it up to korean people to put butter and cheese and make things even better I feel like I need to dunk it in the gochujang just just to kind of take a healthier bite Oh, I love this place so much this is the crown jewel abalone is not cheap Oh, that's juicy Oh, that's good. That's cooked perfectly I mean, I feel like every single bite i'm losing about five years of my life, but god it's worth it Taste the seafood with some tang suan pickled garlic This is one of my favorite in the world because in chinese We also have a version of this and we eat this with noodles. Oh, that's so good. That's so good. Look at that cooked in his own juice I want my whole life to be drenched in this butter cheese sauce That's so juicy I call these candies of the sea Also the soda they have here this peach soda That just tastes like a fizzy orchard Chicken gizzards. Oh, that's really good. Which one's your favorite clam so far? That's really good Those are so good So and it's like really big if I saw that in the ocean i'd be trying to swim away I think might be able to eat me. Oh, whoa. It just attacked. It deserves to be eaten with dignity So make sure you dip it in the butter cheese sauce. I'm not kind of scared now Look at this By the way, this is a pro move Whatever you're giving like a barbecue has kind of has an incline always put kimchi or vegetables where the fat from the meat Will will trickle down so it gets into them and the flavor cooks through Also, don't sleep on the barbecue chicken gizzard skip Ah kimchi cooked in pork fat. This is a duck It's smoked duck that's good What might be the ultimate sin is dunking your pork belly in cheese and butter Oh So good So good I don't care if my life force draining from me god, I feel so naughty I've been eating is the butter cheese sauce. I've been dunking everything in the butter cheese sauce I'm pretty sure if i've somehow managed to dunk my whole head into the butter cheese sauce. I come out better looking. Oh, it's so bad But it's so good Pork belly steward, of course in a butter cheese sauce This is amazing, wow, this is a seafood lover carnivore paradise. It's like little mermaid meets the lion king I feel like i'm beside him and mufasa all rolled into one Good to be the team. Look at this. There's a squid on a stick Crunchy Yes satisfying. Oh, sorry. I mean octopus on a stick You know what This octopus It doesn't suck. All right. This is the ultimate hack at this place They have these uh metal bowls where you can make ramen I mean what you do is add the water add the soup base and then dump in some fresh little neck clams Now you have clam ramen now. You're really clamming Oh, that is so much better than just regular Fresh clam up. This is the ultimate finisher. The last thing you should put in your stomach at this buffet Fresh clam ramen. Oh my god, briny ocean flavors all over this broth Oh, that's so good Oh, that's so good. This place is actually kind of cold because they don't turn on the heat and the windows open one sip Warm me up All the clams are perfect with some of that ramen seasoning little spicy soupy clams Even the noodles has that briny clam flavor to it. Oh, this is awesome This is one of the best ways to eat ramen noodles I mean, I kind of wish that the noodle quality is a little better just because you're boiling it so much It becomes a little softer than I would like other than that Hard to beat anything more perfect than this highly recommend if you love seafood come check this place out All right. Get some lovestruck strawberry So this is the bread I waited in line for All right Four different flavors four different cubes with a little custard on top. It looks like Oh my gosh, this looks great. All right, i'm gonna try this one Oh, it smells so good Oh my god Oh, no wonder there's a wait, oh, this is so great The custard is so creamy and the white stuff is cream cheese so cream cheese custard And this fluffy bread Oh, that's worth waiting for there's only one thing I can make it better baskin robbins ice cream three Flavors in here. This is my favorite lovestruck ice cream some of that On the bread dig a little deep Put some custard and cream cheese on there That is exactly what I needed after a day of vietnamese food and clam barbecue pork belly this brings it all together Plus right now all the cafes are closed So if you want to eat dessert, you got to take it home But you bring a bunch of desserts take it home put on a nice movie a little sweet netflix and chill time with the desserts That's how I like to spend my thursday nights Or actually any night it's actually pretty good for any night.
