5 Mods 3rd Gen Tacoma

Welcome back to Tacoma Tuesday. Today we will be talking about a few things
My lift and why I chose it
Tire plug kit
First aid kit
Tailgate pad
Memory foam mattress
I chose a 3-1 lift level lift because I wanted bigger tires and more clearance to offset the longer wheel base. I have taken the truck off-roading and only got hung up on a water bar I needed sliders to get over safely. If you guys have a brand that has kick outs you can recommend please hit me up in the comments.
After lifting the truck and having the wheel and tire package installed I knew I needed a plug kit. Nobody is trying to buy a random tire so plug it and run it. But this open up the need for an on-board compressor. I have seen a few option but haven’t pulled the trigger. What do you guys use ?
Everybody wants to be the hero to save the day and a first aid kit if the cheapest way. Some times peace of mind is worth every penny. So I got a $10 first aid kit. If things get out of hand well I got Lifted Tacoma to run things over till I get to hospital.
So as you know I’m a cyclist and need to carry bikes. I went to my local shop Adventure Cycles. Caleb had me ready to go when I walk in with a sweet tailgate truck pad. This will allow me to shuttle 8 bikes if needed. I don’t strap it down in daily use. Just toss it over the back and after I’m done I just slide it into the bed easy peasy and the truck keeps the fresh look.
And for our last upgrade today we are checking out this 12 inch memory foam mattress for the truck camping and boon-docking. The long bed tacoma allows you to fit a full size mattress with no alterations of the product. This leads you to wonder how this is going to work........... well stay tuned for the next Tacoma Tuesday. Looks like it’s going to be a Hard Shell kinda episode.
