How are you guys doing? It's currently the end of the week. It's Friday. Yeah, so it's Friday, and I'm so happy to be done with this week. I'm almost done with my senior year of college, which means I'm almost done with college. And I have gone for this very high up-do. I don't know if I look like a poodle, but I always look like a poodle, so it's okay. And if anyone's wondering what my lip color is, it's a NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in the color Instant Bull. So if you guys are wondering, that's what it is. Super cheap, got it from CVS, and their color selection is actually incredible, so I would go check it out. If anyone's wondering where my shirt is from, this is from ASOS. I got this online on ASOS.com. I freaking love ASOS, and this shirt just called my name. I recently got it. I waited for it for like two weeks in the mail. But when I got that notification that it was here, I was like, it's all worth it. So I, today, on this beautiful, sunny spring day, it's not spring yet, but it will be very soon, I am going to be talking you through my spring shoe essentials. And it's so beautiful outside, and I've started kind of switching up what I've been wearing on my feet. And I thought I would share with you all what I'm wearing, and what shoes I think are essential when it comes to warmer weather climates. Warmer weather. So without further ado, I will get started, and yeah, so keep on watching if you want to know what I've been wearing on my feet. Let's get started. Okay, so I'm going to start with probably my number one or number two most worn shoe out of my entire shoe collection, which are these boots. These boots are from Steve Madden, and oh my gosh. I have never gotten so much use out of a shoe like I have with these. These I have worn with absolutely everything. They're so comfortable, first of all. Second of all, I love them because they give me height. If you guys don't know or can't tell, you probably can't tell. But I'm really short. I'm like 5'2", maybe 2 1⁄2", on a good day. But these give me so much height, and it makes me look taller than I actually am, and I'm always looking for that in a shoe. You'll see that a trend with my shoes is that most of them have a platform of some kind. So I love that about these. They're so comfortable. They're not heavy at all, and of course, they're black. And they have like this faux leather look to them, which makes any outfit kind of look more classy than it actually is. And I love pairing these with jeans. I love pairing them with jean skirts. I love pairing these even with dresses. They can really take a dress and make it look badass, so I love these for that. And they were super affordable. Like I said, they're from Steve Madden. I got these so long ago, and I still wear them all the time. They're kind of gross right now. But literally, if you just wash them or kind of just like scrub them every once in a while, they look like brand new. And I have gotten so much use out of these, so I highly recommend. And these can be transferable from the fall winter time to the spring summer. Like I said, you can wear these with shorts. You can wear these with summer dresses to make them look less like girly and stuff if you want to make them look like, oh, shoot, here she comes. You should wear these. These. These are probably my second most worn pair ever in my entire shoe collection, fall, spring, summer, any shoe collection that I have are these. These are from Nine West. They are so overused that the Nine West is literally rubbed off. You can't see it anymore. But these are a pair of flat-form mules. I love these so much. These are some slip-ons, and I wear these like nobody's business because they're so comfortable, number one. Number two, these go great when it comes with business wear. If you're trying to look professional and you don't feel like wearing heels, for example, to a networking event, to an interview, anything like that, these are incredible. I wear these to work all the time. And my work is semi-professional. I work with children, and I have to be presentable, not for the children but for the parents. So I have to wear nice things. And these come in so much handy. I love these so much. And like I said, these are great when it comes to business wear. They're also great to wear with jeans. I love wearing these with jeans and a t-shirt, like a plain t-shirt. And they were super, super affordable for the amount of times that I wear them. And I probably should get a new pair because they look kind of disgusting now. I wore these so much during the fall. I wear them so much now, now that it's springtime. And they're black. They go with everything. They also have that very beautiful faux leather look to them, so they look much more expensive than they actually are. The third pair I'm going to talk about are these statement red mules that I got from Urban Outfitters. Now, these guys. Whoo! I love these so much. I have been obsessed, as you can see from my last pair, I've been obsessed with the mules trend. Mules are so in right now. And I think they're going to be in for a while. So I would get yourself a pair because you're going to be wearing them a lot. And these are a little bit different, obviously, because they're bright red. And they also have a little kitten heel right here at the bottom. And I love these because, as you can see, they are a statement piece. A lot of my shoes are black, so I love having shoes like these that you can throw on if you're wearing a very plain, simple outfit. For example, if you're wearing jeans and a t-shirt. Well, in my case, mom jeans and a t-shirt. Then throwing these on gives it, like, that element of, like, okay, she put a little bit more effort in her outfit than just throwing on jeans and a t-shirt. They're so great when it comes to, like, summer dresses, spring dresses. They're beautiful. I wore it the other day with this really pretty, long, flowy dress that I got from Nordstrom. And people were turning their heads, okay? I was like, yes, honey. I look good. Red is such an important color for spring, especially this springtime. I've seen red everywhere. I've seen it in the runway. I've seen celebrities rock red in different parts of their outfit. I've seen red nails. I've seen red sunglasses, red lips, red t-shirts, and red shoes. And that is where these babies come in. Now, the next pair I'm going to talk about are these platform shoes, sandals, from Unisa. Unisa? Unisa. But these are so cute. They, I will be honest, because we are all honest here, these are not the most comfortable shoes. Now, the reason why I still have them and why I'm still suggesting them is because these are great for certain occasions. These shoes are great when I am going for brunch and we're just literally going to be sitting down, taking maybe a couple pictures, and then I drive home. That's it. I don't wear these if I'm going to go walking. I don't wear these if I'm going to go walking to and from class. I don't really wear them unless if I'm really willing to be uncomfortable for how cute they are, then I will wear them. But they are a little bit uncomfortable because the strap is a little bit kind of stiff. They're so cute, and like I said, make sure to find and try out some platforms before you wear them because platforms can be quite uncomfortable because, as you can see, the shoe is literally flat, so there's no real support for the bottom of your foot. The main concern about these is the back and the front part. It's quite stiff, and it gives you some blisters if you're walking around a lot. I love these so much because it has the jean texture to it, and I feel like that's so unique and super cute. And look at how ... These are tall, okay? These give you quite a bit of height, and like I said, your girl is short, so I love having any kind of height that I can get. Well, the next pair are these platform sneakers that I actually got from Mexico City when I went to visit my family. These are Dorothy Gaynor. I'm not sure if I can find these exact pairs, but I'll, of course, link similar ones down below. These are such a cute pair of shoes. They're like this precious, pale-y pink color. And again, I think these are quite a statement piece because they're quite unusual and curious shoes. I don't know, like odd, different. They kind of start a conversation. I love how they give you height again, but they're also so comfortable. Unlike my last pair, these are very, very comfortable. I wear these with absolutely anything and everything, and I think the pink color is so cute for this time of year because spring is just like a beautiful time of year, you know what I'm saying? So I think the flowers and the sun and all that, I just don't know. I just feel like it goes really well. It kind of matches my shirt. If you've noticed, I say I wear these shoes with almost anything, and I think that's super important in a pair of shoes that you can wear with anything, that you can wear with jeans. I'd wear these with jeans that you can wear with a skirt. I'd wear these with a skirt that you can wear with a dress. I would totally wear these with a dress. So you want to invest in pieces that you can wear across different situations, and that's when you know you've found a great pair of shoes, okay? So, like I said, I love these so much, and I think a pair of platform sneakers are so in right now, and they just look so cute, so why not, okay? Now, my next pair of shoes are these sexy ass heels, okay? These are so sexy. So these are from American Rag, and these were very affordable, and I, as a senior in college, have been going out a lot more than I usually do because, you know, it kind of hits you your senior year where you're just like, oh my gosh, this is my last chance. This is my last chance to go to a house party with Red Solo Cups and play beer pong. This is my last chance to go to a bar and see the guy from my math class. But with going out comes going out attire and necessities, and one of the number one necessities that I could say to anyone going to college in terms of going out is a pair of black heels, okay? And these are my pair of black heels. I've been wearing them so much. They're already kind of gross. I should scrub them. Oh my God, what is that? So these are so comfortable. I wear these all the time to go out. I've also worn them to some networking events with some more professional attire, and I just like how simple they are and they go with any going out outfit. All right, switching things up a little bit, I'm going to be talking you through why I love my Converse sneakers. Now, I don't have to tell you why Converse are amazing because I'm sure everyone has a pair, and if you don't have a pair, you need to go right now after you watch this video and go buy yourself or order online a pair of these shoes. They're just the Converse All Star, right? Sneakers? Yes. All Star sneakers. I have these in gray. I've had these for about two years now, and I just, I wear these with everything. Like I said, they're so comfortable, they're so cute, and I really liked this gray-white color. I thought it was really different. I thought it was super cute. I do want to get myself a different pair, maybe like a black pair of Converse or a completely white pair of Converse. I'm kind of scared to get the white because I think they get super dirty super fast. I'm not sure about that one, but we'll see. And they're super comfortable, super great when you're walking around. For festival season, these are great because they're super comfortable. So, you need yourself a pair of Converse. I'm telling you, I promise, you will use them a lot. And finally, last but not least, I'm going to be talking about my Birkenstocks. Now, I love these so much. I feel like this is not everyone's cup of tea. This is a definite hit or miss, but I love them because they're just so comfortable. They're just so comfortable. I wear these all the time. These are my number one go-to pair of shoes when I'm going to take out the trash. I'm not even going to lie. Last night, it was like 12.30 at night, and I was like, oh, my trash smells bad. So, I slipped these on with my socks, my polka dot socks, and I went to go throw out the trash, and I was like, yeah, these go with anything. And apart from taking out the trash, I love wearing these with jean shorts, high-waisted jean shorts. I have a pair from Urban Outfitters. Yeah, I feel like Birkenstocks are kind of coming back. I mean, I could be lying when I say that, and I just think that in my head because I'm wearing them more, and I'm like, oh, yeah, they're definitely coming back.
