Taiwan AIRPORT NOODLES, China Airline BUSINESS CLASS Review Manila to New York

I'll miss this. I'll be back Goodbye, Manila. Itinerary for today, head to the airport fly over to Taipei for a connection and then straight to New York I got a really busy about a week and a half in New York. Probably the busiest week of the year for me I've been working off like three hours of sleep for the last two days. I can't Really think straight as long as I can get through next week or this week this this week I'll be good. Let's go Everyone at this hotel is so nice So nice like overly nice. I feel bad And to get to New York, I'm flying China Airlines business class. So of course reviewing for you guys They just told me something really weird at check-in. They told me like my little tripod that usually attaches to this camera. It's not allowed I So weird, it's not battery-operated. It's just a little little handheld tripod. I have no idea. I brought it in Pretty sure it's okay to fly with these little tripods Anyway, I have no problems with it. Kind of scared me a little bit though. Like why are they banning this? It's an hour and 30 minute flight to Taipei. So really really quick and then I got about a four hour layover and then From Taiwan to New York, that's gonna be a that's gonna be a doozy. So from Manila to Taipei roast chicken breast or steamed dory food Black bean sauce with steamed rice. Anytime I see black bean sauce That's what I go for fish with black bean sauce Not bad tender fish black bean sauce is always good. You guys ever had black bean sauce before? It's like a very earthy fermented bean sauce. That's just fantastic It touches a little spicy too I mean, I'm not expecting much. It's a one hour flight. So Haagen-Dazs ice cream. I mean, I'm just lucky one hour flight to actually give you a meal. It's not even a bad meal This will be much better Than anything I can get in the lounge. Hope this ice cream thaws a little before I land I do like the Taiwan Airport. There's some Really cutesy things in here like Lime Pei Cafe. I want to check out the Lime Pei Cafe See here you can explore the Taroko National Park This is probably the airport to get free samples of food It's really calming walking through this airport. Oh You can play racing car games here. Oh This is crazy. You can buy like some workout clothes and work out at the same time What if you can like try it? Like if you buy like some workout shorts, you can try and be like nah It doesn't run right and then just return the sweaty shorts. That'd be gross, but that's some good customer service I can't find this Lime Cafe. I did find free samples of pineapple cakes I just realized I haven't been back in Taiwan for about three years last time I was really here was I filmed a video series on Tainan Yeah about three years ago I'll be back in a few months It's like vegetarian heaven here That's really really really good Like spicy tofu salad and of course the Yakult soda Yogurt-y and refreshing Honestly for airport beef noodle soup, this does not have that That beef Good blend of fat but lean and It's a tender Spicy and sour great umami flavor a little nummy. You really can't go wrong with this The danzai noodles this is gonna be like a whole lot less flavorful The flavor is more subtle a little seafood-y More refined. I like the regular beef noodle soup better, but it's worth a try Okay, I'm stupid. I found the Lime Cafe That's it that was like a cafe with those cool little bears and Little bunny rabbit, I'm gonna sit down and order, I don't know, stuff Disappointed China Airlines business class you recognize it right away with this like fake wood wallpaper thingy But it's really cool because they're the only airline with like a little a little lamp, and this is probably One of the most spacious business classes you can find on an Asian airline Much more spacious than Asiana and Carinere you got a ton of leg space Right there has a ton of space here You got a good amount of space on the side of the aisle So you're not kind of like falling over the aisle and people are knocking into you It's a very very nice and spacious business class seat You got a bunch of nooks and cabinets all these open up and you can store things Slippers sometimes that the airline slippers like this little thin paper slipper. These are nice comfy And very soft slippers so you can put a lot of your stuff in here And they have another little nook here for more stuff only thing got to be careful is not forgetting anything when you're leaving and I really like this airline because It's great because I can put my camera right here Also, what's really cool about this is everything is digitalized. You can turn on your little lamp So it is designed to sort of kind of like be a little cozy living room space sort of and what I also like about this space is All that space. It's almost like a workstation or entertainment station. It's just very comfortable. Favorite reading material on the plane See what's for dinner. We have summer appetizers, red fermented pork neck and strip roll. Heck yeah! Taiwanese salad. Okay, double boiled short ribs. Yes Braised burdock stuffed Chinese French chicken thigh. This is very important. The anytime snacks. Taiwanese minced chicken sauce over guan miao noodles or instant noodles shortbread snacks We're gonna do this and this for sure Smoked duck salad inside. I like the garlic bread tomato salad Roast pork is good I like the set of ginger that they give you. I actually like that more than the meat That was good the calamari Circle with the cucumber inside. I always appreciate it when my calamari does not taste like a rubber band That one did not. This salad is interesting It's just like a tomato salad But I do really like it when airlines give you garlic bread Pretty sure this is also to prevent you from flirting. You know how to stew a good bowl of pork bone soup. Pork rib And ribs in the limb. That's a classic Chinese recipe. That thing just warms your body right up That I really liked. And this stuffed chicken. I need to try all the more unique dishes that are on these airlines So I can tell you guys if they're good or not. It doesn't look the best but it might be super yummy The taste is pretty good. This is not just fried tofu. It's fried fish tofu The sauce is great. It's a soy based sauce. A little sweet, a little spicy. There's some nice crunch from the peanuts The flavor is really good. Nice crunch but the sauce is really good This is also for breakfast. So I'll just get some instant noodles in a sort of stack. I mean what are instant noodles on this flight? It's literally instant noodles. Mushroom vegetarian cut noodle I guess they did jazz this up a little bit. They added a nice piece of ham, a little bok choy It's got the most high quality of instant noodles. Loudly satisfying. Prickles is pretty good. Chicken in a salted duck egg and some fruits I should have skipped the instant noodles. There's chicken over noodles. A lot of dishes in Taiwan were like that's perfect with noodles These actually seem like more of a congee topping. It's two pound chicken without like inside It's like the same sauce from before when I had the main course But it's a little better because it's got a bit of more spice, more scallion and garlic flavor Duck egg is really something that eats in with some sort of rice or congee. I guess eating it with a bun will sort of work Might be much better. I think summer is pretty much over in New York It's jacket weather now About 70 degrees outside at night Alright, finally back stateside. It's a little late tonight So there's no really no time to grab any food. Just want to go to bed Long day tomorrow, big film day tomorrow. But first before I do it gonna get up get a haircut like This is so much. Go get a haircut, film all day tomorrow And then I'm gonna take you guys to a sugarcane juice factory because I don't know if you know But me and some friends just came out with our own line of sugarcane juice. It's amazingly refreshing. It's delicious And we're gonna go take a tour of the factory where it's produced. Alright, gym, bed, haircut All the rest is stuff. See you tomorrow
