Amazing, amazing curry in the clams. Stew, fish, it's a boiling
Wow, this looks insane
Eat that with a little rice

Wow, thank you for writing this. I will probably be older when you open this
You definitely will be unless I invented time travel, which I have not
Yet. You should come to Ohio, try out some great restaurants. Listen, I'm back. Oh nice

Thank you. Thank you. Thank you for thinking of me
The P.O. Box is still gonna be here in New York for now
Until I figure out if I'm gonna get another one over in Washington
But I come back once a month, so I'll still check up on it and just do like random unboxings every time I'm in town
Again, thank you so much for taking the time to send out the letters, to write the letters, the postcards, sending out the food
You guys are amazing. I'm so happy and I absolutely love this night light
This is so cool
Now I gotta go meet up with a friend for lunch and then return my car to the dealership and
Head back to the city and eat more food. Sounds like a good plan. Packed everything up
Should be good to go. See you later at house. Hello
Hello. Today we got some eggplant and shrimp, bean sprouts and pork, some spinach soup
What is this? It's like little ribs and green beans
Mushroom and peas and salmon. Yeah, home cooking. Thank you
Just got back to Manhattan from my parents house
Didn't really get to spend a lot of time with them because there's another family at our house
Staying with them. I feel like lately I haven't been the best person I could be. It's really been neglecting
like
Meditation and a lot of the stuff that I used to do to improve myself and just kind of been
Slacking since the move. Do some reading, do some meditation tonight
Gotta get better, you know. Can't really control anything else in the world, but you can control you
Just got done going over a couple of the projects
Exciting projects. We're in Williamsburg. All the new restaurants are opening up over here. So me and Moe and Dragon, S-Dragon
I'm gonna go eat at this new cafe that
That someone told me about, that Jen actually, my buddy Jen told me about. Here it is, Kitspie dessert bar
Nice and clean
And look at this. So they have like some kind of salted egg
something
Hi
Yeah, that's what that's what someone told me I have to get. What's your name?
Kim? Say hi
Sesame lava cake. Wait, is that mochi? Amy is the owner by the way. Amy, wait, what is that?
That's Tangyuan. That's so beautiful. Tangyuan if you don't know is it's a mochi-esque little Chinese dessert item that we love. This is what?
Cane sugar and we're supposed to add it here?
And then how do we do the, what do we do with the lemons? So we put the lemon in. Put the lemons in, okay
It's like crispy lemons. There's creme brulee on top. Yeah
I'm okay with just drinking it like that
Heck yeah, baby. This is the pate de creme. Pate de creme? What is that again? I'll try it.
Salted caramel with little macaroons on top, a little oreo crumple or something and salt. Come here, baby
You're supposed to eat it with some ice cream. I think so. I can't have lava cake without some ice cream
Oishii. Oishii desu.
I want to eat that again.
This is like some kind of mango spiced up
That's very mingling
Oishii desu. I'm with some Japanese friends, so I'm speaking so much Japanese. My favorite words in Japanese class back then was
Sumimasen wakarimasen. Why not? If you don't know what that means, that means sorry. I don't know. I love this.
Jen knows me. Jen knows what I like.
Thanks, Jen. This is the forbidden fruit? I've been looking for the forbidden fruit since all my life, so apparently that's it. Here we go.
Is there ice cream inside?
Oh wait, what's inside? It's cake and was that raspberry? And ice cream.
It's a mousse?
Yeah, definitely tastes better than an apple. Sorry Eve. This is the salted egg lava cake, right? Salted egg lava cake?
No, no. Three years. Three years. I will be stuck in New York.
It's just like the dim sum. The dim sum egg yolk. Weekend in New York City, and this is gonna be a fun fun day because
there is, I kid you not, a wagyu,
Japanese wagyu
festival going on right now, and we're gonna go just eat up a bunch of wagyu. All right, before the wagyu,
I'm starving, so I gotta stop by this bakery for some. Oops.
Excuse me.
Gotta stop by this bakery for some.
Famous lobster tails. Hi, can I get a small lobster tail? My favorite
pastry in Little Italy.
Sad they only have it on weekends. Crumbly
lobster tail with just the most delightful cream in the middle.
Oh yeah, baby. All right, so they have, look at this. This is all wagyu.
Oh, look at that. That is so pretty. Look at this lime dough. Oh man.
Let's go find my friend. Truffle cheese dumpling? I do want it now.
Bonsai dumpling? Is that made with bonsai? It is not, is it? Can you do a mixed?
Yeah, yeah, that'd be great. Thank you. I am so excited. They literally stuffed a bonsai tree inside a dumpling.
How does that even happen?
Yeah.
All the cheese is going on.
Good?
Oh, they're good.
I mean, it's basically like $2.50 per dumpling.
I mean, it's good. I can't taste the bonsai. I don't know what a bonsai tastes like.
So, how do we even know what a bonsai tastes like? But it's good. It's really meaty.
That's very nice. They stuffed the heck out of it.
Mmm, that's delicious. Nice to meet you, by the way. What's up guys?
All right, so what are we eating? So today, you'll be eating Wagyu beef. Yeah.
Amazing. I'm so so excited.
Poor Japanese Wagyu. This is Mr. Dai Maria. This man brings in Wagyu from Japan. You're like the only one?
Yeah, we are the only one. In the world.
Wagyu fat?
Can I drink this? Got a straw? All right, so this is a Wagyu salad. This is like the thin Wagyu slices.
French fries fried with Wagyu fat. That's amazing. A little Wagyu
slider. Oh my god. This is a steak.
A strip loin steak. And then this is the Wagyu curry.
Oh, this is the new Wagyu. I gotta start eating. All right, so I gotta try the fries because they expire the fastest.
Oh my god.
You don't need ketchup. Oh my god, it's so awesome.
Freaking fries are already so awesome. Go shopping for cartons or bedspreads or something. Just tell the designer
I want the design to look like Wagyu. First taste of Wagyu,
no matter how
long since you've had it.
Like it could be a day, it could be a month.
It just renders you speechless.
I've said this before, but if you ever hear people say that steak melts in my mouth
and they never had Wagyu before, it didn't melt in your mouth. Meat, butter.
This is so good. The sauce is on here. It's spicy. The spring onions
counters the fat a bit.
I've never had Wagyu curry, but I love curry and I love Wagyu, so.
Oh, that is a beefy curry. First of all, this curry is amazing, already.
Spicy curry.
Spicy and thick.
It's so spicy and creamy, too.
This is a leaner beef, leaner Wagyu.
Yeah, it is. We use a shank.
Shank? Yeah. The beef flavor is so much bigger. Exactly. When it comes to lean Wagyu.
Oh, Wagyu burger.
Wagyu burgers are the best burgers. You got a lot of lean meat in here, too. Right, shank, ground, and brisket.
Like here, take a look at this.
The beefy flavor is so robust and great.
You don't need any seasoning.
Besides a little salt.
And sometimes wasabi. I mean, this is as good as you can get.
I'm not gonna eat the bun, because I just want to show the beef.
That smoked flavor from the fire. Go get some Wagyu somewhere. Go to Japan.
So this is a Wagyu katsu. It's basically a breaded steak. Is it all Wagyu inside, or what? It's all Wagyu.
It's all Wagyu inside? And we put some onions. Onions, too?
Wow, that is so juicy.
This is the juiciest one. If you guys never had a katsu, it's like,
the crunch on the outside is everything. If you've never eaten french fries with your chopsticks,
you should. No greasy fingers. Wagyu steak.
You can't find something, anything,
more melty in your life.
Yeah, of course it's good. It's wonderful. Alright, so if you guys don't know, so in Japan, A5 is the highest. There's also A4.
And the marbling, there's a marbling index that goes all the way to 12. And 12 is the
absolute best you can get. And this is it. So this is like the absolute best
quality beef you can get in Japan. Samir, it's your birthday. I'm gonna give you half of this. Oh, no.
Dude, this is the greatest thing. Monster piece cut of Wagyu.
Please. Yo, I need this as a blanket for my house. Cheers, buddy.
Cheers, dude. Thank you so much. Thanks for coming. No, thanks for having me. No, thank you for having me. Trust me, this was all my pleasure.
Best beef. I want to quilt with that, not even a blanket. Best beef on the planet.
Oh, man. I gotta sit down.
That was the best thing ever. That was a journey. That was a food journey.
Thank you, sir. No, no, no, no. Pleasure. Thank you very much. Oh my, thank you. That is so good.
So good. If you're not eating food after this, I don't know,
am I doing something wrong? Stuff should be dripping on your chin right now. Look at this.
The dango is grilled. Yes. And then it's dipped in this syrup. Yes. Absolutely amazing.
Thank you very much.
I love the dango. I've never had like a seaweed-y one before. Yeah, it's interesting.
It's a good flavor. It's more savory. Usually it's sweet.
Amy's here, too.
She's giving me a gypsy. How is it? It's a good tasting green gypsy.
How do you know what a gypsy tastes like?
Oh, that's great. I like it. Oh, that's good.
I wish I had this with the wagyu. Yeah. Thank you.
No wonder she wants to be a tea farmer. Two filet pancakes, just like in Japan, baby.
That's what I'm talking about. We don't have to go to Japan anymore to eat two filet pancakes.
That's pretty good. That's oishii. Yeah, oishii. Totomo oishii.
Totomo oishii.
That's good stuff.
That's really not bad. I don't think it's far off from what you're gonna get in Japan.
You ever seen Calpico fruits and veggies? Like a V8.
Yummy. Is this good for me? This is not good for me. Is it good for me?
My serving of fruits and vegetables today, mom. Byron, by the way, so we're at Sub Crab.
We're gonna see if this place is any good.
I'm gonna see if it's any good. He says it's good. So, let's see.
Thirteen herbs and flavors in here. Yeah.
Guijie, ghost street crawfish. And the ghost street, I guess, is just a chili sauce as usual, right?
So there's no ghost chili. That's a misconception. Yeah, right. There's no ghost chili. It's because of the translation.
It's like, it's like a headless crawfish. Is that scary for any of you guys out there? Headless crawfish.
It'd be scarier if his claws had the head on it, and he was riding a seahorse.
Snow crab, crawfish, shrimp.
I gotta say, that rice dish, I just pretty often hug it.
100% honest, this is ridiculous.
And I feel like the egg yolk definitely adds a little bit more creaminess to the rice.
You know, it's creamy. Yeah, it's creamy. It's really spicy, but
in a very nice way. Oh, finally back. What an amazing food day as always. Like, New York City, these random street festivals that pop up.
Just love it. I mean, never would I have thought that I would just have an amazing Wagyu meal in the middle of New York,
middle of the West Village, on just a random Saturday. And I said this thousands of times already,
but if you never had Wagyu, go to Japan, go to some restaurants that carry it, real Wagyu, give it a try.
