Bye!
Should I get my coffee, Tom?
Northwell Health represent.
Alright, and it is a new day,
and another day at the airport.
We are going somewhere, which you probably
know by the title and thumbnail by now,
but we're going to Paris.
Alright, so a good start to the trip.
We're already delayed. I hate rushing
on connected flights, but nonetheless,
positive vibes only. It's vacation.
Well, we did
not make it to our destination.
We just deboarded the plane
because, here,
they can't fix the issue.
So now we're sitting here. It's 1230.
And we're going to get an update in two hours.
Alright, so
as suspected, flight is cancelled.
We aren't happy. It's 2 o'clock
in the morning, and we're going back home.
We're rebooked on a flight later
today. How happy are you?
Well, let's
hope that things work out tomorrow better than today.
Otherwise, see you tomorrow.
Probably won't vlog tomorrow because it's going to be a repeat of today.
And welcome
back for another day.
And we're taking a different approach.
We're getting on the New Jersey Transit and going to the airport
that way because the Ubers are like $100
now. Who knows if United is going to
reimburse us for that? Very doubtful.
But we're very hopeful for today.
The good thing is, we're staying positive.
We got a non-stop flight.
Oh yeah, non-stop, direct flight.
Anyways, we're heading to the airport now.
Hopefully we get on this flight. And one thing
I didn't tell Andriana is that
I may have upgraded us. Don't tell her.
I think this will do.
And the best part, when I get sick of Andriana,
I just do this.
More like when I get sick.
And we officially made it to
Paris, but I'm a little concerned that our bags
may not get here. So let's cross
our fingers.
We made it.
Babe. Why am I sticking out my middle
finger? I don't know.
On a scale of 1-10, how happy are you that we made it?
So happy. Paris is actually one of my favorite cities.
Alright, I just realized
well, for one, we're on
a really loud street.
And two, we just saw
Notre Dame. Forgot to whip out the old
vlogging camera, so didn't
really get a picture of that. But now we're just
kind of walking around, going maybe a few
shops here and there. Alright, so
no trip to Paris would be
complete without some
macarons. Yummy! They're my
favorite. Taste test. First off,
pistachio.
Like she's ever rated a macaron
before. I haven't.
So what is it? An 8.
Alright,
so we're around shopping. Had to get a new mask
because mine broke. This scarf
is leaving fuzzies all
over my face. And for that reason, it's going in the
trash.
Update. Brand
new scarf.
And bought some other items as well. And now,
we're going to grab a cocktail. And
top of the morning to you.
It is officially day two here.
We are just leaving our first hotel.
Well, let me rewind a little bit. So we were supposed to stay
at this hotel for two nights. We ended up
missing our flight the first night, as you know.
So we got knocked down to one night here.
We are in Saint-Germain, which is
left bank, I believe, in Paris.
Don't quote me on that because I don't really know
what I'm talking about. But we were supposed to stay here two nights.
We ended up paying for two nights and
always staying here one night. So that's cool. Thanks
United. And now we're going to
basically walk around again today.
See more sights. Probably venture down and
see the Eiffel Tower because, you know, you gotta do some
touristy things while you're here. And that's
pretty much it. Oh, and also,
if you're looking to stay in Saint-Germain,
this is the Hotel Bel Ami,
which I'll leave a link in my description.
They're awesome. Recommend this hotel. 10 out of 10.
Alright, so I'm about to try my hand
at the subway in Paris.
We'll see how this goes. It's freezing out here,
though. It's like 30 degrees.
And we officially made it
to the Eiffel Tower.
Not half bad.
Alright, so you can barely see me, but we're just
back to our hotel room, and I wanted to show
it to you because it's adorable.
Cute little coffee maker.
We'll get to the
bathroom in a second.
Cute little room. We have jazz
playing for us. We have
a nice little suite. They actually upgraded
us, which is nice. And, uh,
yeah. Then we have a pretty nice view
of the city. Open this.
I think I'm, uh,
pretty content. So we are
going to get ready for dinner
right now. Been in these clothes all day.
And, uh, shower, change,
go to dinner. Alright, so I realize
I get too caught up in our
date night and dinner and all that stuff
to even vlog, but we just finished
a beautiful dinner.
And now we're headed back
to have a little cocktail. And then bed.
And then we'll do it all over again tomorrow.
We'll see how we feel when we get back
to the hotel. Yeah, two more days left.
Plenty more to discover in Paris.
Welcome to
day three.
We are on the subway at the
Notre Dame de Lorraine.
And we are headed up north
to see, I can't even pronounce the name of it, but I'll show you
in a second. And, uh, we decided to take the subway
because we like to venture out and do what the locals
do. That's what we do in New York City. So that's what we
do here. That's what we do everywhere.
If that was New York City, you wouldn't even be able to hear me right now.
And somehow we made it.
Automatically, I love this place.
It's the, uh, Mathe Mathe? I can't say it.
Somebody tell me how to pronounce
this.
Our next task
is to find the pastry shop
and I just want to stuff my face with
eclair? Is that how you say it?
Yeah.
We like to stuff your face with, uh...
Or...
I don't know, just French pastries.
That's all I want. Obviously some cocktails
later. That's it.
That's it.
Cocktail bar one, out of the way.
In the Hodgson Hotel Jacques.
Cocktail bar.
And... ooh, it's dark.
It is. I knew you were gonna say and.
It's like midnight 30 or whatnot.
We just finished having a few cocktails.
Shout out Bar Divine. If you venture out
and don't go to the touristy spots.
We just went to a pure local's cocktail spot.
They're like, surprised you're there,
they're happy you're there, and they're nice.
And that's why we love traveling and doing this stuff
so you can experience this stuff. So, the point of this story
is, get out of your comfort zone.
Don't stay in the touristy spots.
Honestly, every place that was a touristy
spot in Paris,
the lines were so ridiculously long
it wasn't even worth it.
No, not at all. The place across the street was so much better.
Yeah, so I mean, you just gotta venture out,
take a chance, and I guarantee
people will be nice to you because at least
they are just excited to see someone
who's venturing out, you know?
So, try it next time. But, we'll end tonight here.
And we'll check back in.
Mañana. It's supposed to rain tomorrow.
Oh yeah, it's supposed to rain today, our last day, but
what can you do? We'll make the best of it.
We'll make the best. See you tomorrow.
Welcome to Saturday.
A.K.A. my last day.
We're on cinematic mode so you're blurred out.
So, just finished at the Café Noir
and destroyed
some croissants. And now
we are basically going to go out
to A. Get a COVID test.
B. Get a whole bunch of
eclairs and bakery items
because, uh oh,
we have to try all that stuff.
It's raining this morning but it stopped
so it's a little wet outside, but
it's not going to stop us. And we're going to see
what today brings on our last day.
We're not going to stay out as late as we did last night though.
Maybe we will.
We're going to have to wake up at like 3.30 in the morning.
Also, check this place out.
This looks like a
legit testing center.
Right on the street.
I'm in a zip right now.
Alright, good news.
Good news is we
found a sandwich shop.
Good news is we tested negative for COVID.
Therefore, all worries are off today.
And we can actually enjoy
this day because there's something stressful
about worrying about testing positive for COVID
while you're overseas because then you have to quarantine
here for like X amount of days.
And then you may have to get a baguette.
Okay, it's baguette time. Sorry, hold please.
They have eclairs here too.
Okay, so we got
a baguette with
brie and ham, toasted.
And we got
an almond croissant.
I believe it's croissant.
So what do you want?
These are my two favorite
items here in Paris.
Next will be some
eclairs. What do you want to taste first?
I think this is savory. Just want to show you.
That's quite the large.
Just bite it. Babe, it's so hot.
Just bite it.
I need a rating from 1 to
Italian bakery in Queens.
Very different.
There's a lot more salt because
of this cheese, but red here
is a 10 out of 10. Delicious?
Delicious.
Okay, what am I supposed to do with that?
This is delightful.
Really, really freaking good.
Okay, now that my
savory dreams were met, we are going to
enter my sweet dreams.
This is the almond croissant.
It's a little bit different than the other almond
croissants that I had. How do you attack that?
Just bite it? I don't know.
I was going to break it.
I'm a breaker.
Alright.
Delicious.
I think it's fine. Put it over here.
Let me turn it this way.
This one has a better...
Are you going to save any for me?
You have a whole thing.
Alright, my turn.
Filling is
exceptional.
Not too sweet.
Flaky crust, sweet,
not too soft filling.
Well, inside is almonds.
Also 10 out of 10 almond croissant.
Alright.
So, explored over here a little bit today.
And I'm not one to go shopping
when I'm on vacation, but I did
pick up a little something.
Bought myself a new coat because
I just couldn't say no.
Still didn't find my eclairs, but
this will do. The aftermath.
I'm going to keep going.
So,
we were at the bakery. We destroyed those...
I don't even know what you call them. Cakes? Pastries?
But they were delicious, and we devoured them.
And then, we went to that cocktail bar.
Shout out Dirty Lemon. That cocktail bar was amazing.
You should go there. Grab her in.
I don't even know where we are right now. But look it up.
And now we're going to dinner. For our last dinner.
Just took subway back, and
had a fantastic dinner
at...
Obama. Really good.
Now we're turned around. That was basically
the end of our journey
in Paris. But now we have to pack.
Which is a whole big process in itself.
We have to go to the airport at like 4 o'clock
in the morning tomorrow, so that's not cool.
But we'll turn it in for the night.
Alright, so we are at the airport.
It is 5.30am.
I still have to upload a video for today.
And due to the time change, I need to do it
right now before I go on this 8 hour flight.
So, the things I do to stay on track with YouTube.
Why does someone drive by
the second I pull out my camera?
It's as though...
Alright, it's about 8am.
Just got off the first flight to
Frankfurt. I'm currently in Frankfurt, Germany.
Airport. I tend to just always fly through this airport
for some reason. Right now, waiting on
our flight. We're flying back to Jersey
in like an hour and a half.
And we'll see how it goes. Hopefully,
our luggage is there.
Alright, so, officially made it
back to the States. This is my usual spot
to film when I get back here.
Thoughts on the trip? Absolutely love Paris.
I really feel like going to
big cities like Paris, you have to just get
out of your comfort zone and explore
and do things that Parisians would do.
Don't go to the local touristy spots.
Just go venture out in the city.
See what you can find. Mingle with the locals
and do what they do. So, that's what we did.
We had a fantastic time. I don't think anybody
spoke anything other than French at almost
any restaurant we went to. And that's what we were
looking for. Immersed ourselves, had fun.
Now we're here and we start work tomorrow.
Let me know in the comments below if you want to see
more videos like this. I think a lot of you all
liked my travel vlogs prior, so,
I'll probably keep doing them. It's fun for me to do
and it's fun for me to have memories
of the trip on YouTube. So,
it's a win-win. Anyways, make sure you smash that subscribe
button, follow me on Instagram and TikTok if you don't already.
Adriana's somewhere over here.
I don't know what she's doing. But, uh,
I guess I'll see you all in the next video.
Bye.
