DIY CREATIVE MOTHERS DAY GIFTS

Warning mom if you're watching stop the video and you can watch it on Sunday after you get your gift Today I'm going Mother's Day gift for Ashley like it's so hard to buy a gift for Ashley because if she's ever won I think she kind of just goes and gets what she wants But today I'm gonna build her window boxes She's wanted flower boxes under the windows out front for a long long time And she never could find like the right one that I've seen pictures of the ones that she really likes But she never can find them for sale And she just like is too sweet to even ask me to build them so I'm gonna build her some window boxes And I'm gonna put them right here Yeah, then I'm gonna take her either I'll just go pick out some flowers because I know what kind she loves and they have to grow really well in the shade Or we'll go together after I build them and surprise her with it. I did them out of wood then I painted them the same color as a garage These are the ones on the pictures she looked at so I Built it accordingly It's not too bad. There's one thing that I like to do. It's woodwork. I don't know why But you wouldn't really expect because it's not really like you would think would be my thing But it is my thing now picture this you guys those are gonna be full of flowers overflowing. This is part of grandma's present So we're gonna have the boys lay straight down put your arms straight up and then we'll show you what we're gonna do with this Okay, does this feel so naughty Colin All right guys, I'm gonna show you what we came up with gift wise for my mom for Mother's Day these are from the kids I love just doing thoughtful gifts and that's what my mom loves. She does not care about like fancy stuff She just loves the little thoughtful gifts. So from them, this is what she's going to be getting Here is a cute little flower vase, but it's of all the boys handprints and feet prints So this is our little Ezra's and look how big The boys feet are it's crazy But anyway, we have all their cute little hands and then I saw this cute thing on Pinterest and then I just got that little vase At the store and then I filled it with her favorite chocolates. And then my mom is Obsessed with reading so we made these cute little bookmarks And I just laminated a picture of them and then this is just like thread But I also had them write their names on the back and then put the date So that she knew obviously since I have twins which one was which yeah I just thought this was a super cute idea since she loves to read To have little bookmarks of the boys and then for me personally What I like to do is I always again like to do thoughtful gifts And so I like to put a lot of thought into what I give my mom for Mother's Day So what I usually do is I give her my very favorite things that I have found over the past year so for instance Any products that are my favorite anything that I use on a day-to-day basis or Treats or food that have become my favorites. I put it in like a gift basket and that's what I give her So this year I'm just gonna give you guys an idea of what I'm doing. My mom has never Heard of dry shampoo. I was talking to her the other day and I'm like what? Were you raised in a barn? Actually she was That's kind of funny because she was her dad was a farmer, but anyway Got her some dry shampoo and she's gonna love me for that. This is another product That's my very favorite right now because it helps. Oh my heck. It does wonders for your hair So I give her some products that are my favorite. I'm also going to be giving her I'm not putting the gift basket together yet because there's gonna be lots of like treats in it But like my very favorite dessert place that makes these cookies that are her very favorite her very favorite Cookies are in st. George and we live about eight hours from there. So it's a problem You can't just go and get a cookie But there's a new little shop that opened just a few months ago that she doesn't know about and they have those exact Cookies, so I'm gonna go give her a bunch of those and then I have like gift certificates to just like getting her nails done And a few other things that I'm brainstorming right now of just some of my other favorite things from this year So that's what she will be getting for Mother's Day And hopefully this gave you guys a few ideas on what you guys can be getting for your mothers this Sunday Gosh, my son's growing up He went on his first date today Yeah, I had a girl come and pick him up and everything. We already have a new name to add to it Oh my gosh, like it took him that long that we already have another child like I don't know what we do Do we tell him now like? Just FYI, we've had another child so we need to add the name Ezra van Hughes.
