Went to Amalfi coast via Naples to film for a project that will be released soon in a couple of months :-) excited to finally share with everyone then. But yea...haunted castle right across the street from my hotel.
Does this not look like something to the start of a horror movie?
You guys think my house is creepier or the road to my house is creepier? Either way,
pretty horror movie-esque, huh? Anyway, going into the city. I've only been home for about a day.
I really miss staying at home. I'm so tired, but back to filming the show, the show I can't talk
about. Yeah, I really can't talk about it. Between leaving my house and now, it's been a few days,
but where I'm going next, it's pretty cool. It's also kind of magical because the last time I was
there, I made a wish in a fountain that said I would be back, and I'm going to be back. Yeah,
I'm going back to Italy or Rome. Naples. Naples. I'm going to Naples. We, all of us are going to
Naples. Here, meet the people. Karen, you know. That's Emily. That's Alana. Anyway, getting to
Europe tonight, going to Naples, it's going to be a lot of fun. We're filming stuff together.
By the time you watch this, I can talk about it, right? Yeah. All right, so Italy episode. Yay.
Can I have your autograph? One second. Home sweet home. Just a small little screen.
I think my iPhone screen might be the same size. If you're way taller than me,
you're going to have a tough time on this flight. All right, I'm already, I'm already here. This is
probably one of the tightest spaced international flights I've been on. Luckily for me, greatest
game ever. This will keep me occupied. Welcome to Rome. I slept nothing. Look at them good
sandwiches and vending machines here. Mozzarella, prosciutto. Ooh, Praga. All right, I don't know
what half these sandwiches are, but they look good. I guess the Trevi Fountain does work.
Didn't think I'd be back so soon. It's so weird that I want pizza for breakfast
and lunch and dinner. This is some takeout pasta, but it looks bomb. Good?
That's nice. Oh, I'm so sleepy. Zero sleep on the plane. I don't even know if I'm really
sitting here eating this pasta right now. Just gotta get back. We are driving to Naples right
now. And then from there, we're going to film there. And then we're going to go to Amalfi,
which I've never been. Naples is interesting. Good pizza though. Good pizza. Don't get it.
A whole different area than where I stayed last time. By the waters, this really swanky,
nice hotel across the street from a Hansa castle. That, there's definitely at least a dozen ghosts
living in there. This is a nice hotel. So swanky. I don't even know what button to push.
All right, this hotel kind of gives off a little shining vibe.
Doesn't it? Big mirror right here. It's definitely a little shiny-esque.
Wouldn't be surprised to see twins when I turn the corner here. Come play with us, Mike.
Would be the scariest thing I would ever hear right now. That's me.
Pretty small little hotel room. Oh, what? My light just went off. Oh God. If I die,
let this show how it happened. What the heck is going on?
What? Oh, it's one of those. Oh, I got to tell you, that was a little creepy.
Bed, bathroom. Nice tub, huh? Oh, sweet flip-flops, robe, toilet,
foam cleaner, and real flowers in the bathroom. Balcony, there's the ocean, buildings.
I was kind of hoping on facing that haunted castle. That castle is really, really old.
It's called Castle Del Ovo. Just looked it up. Yeah, it is haunted, extremely haunted. Also,
there's something about a magical egg. So maybe it's haunted by Pokemon. I'm not really sure.
All right, the plan is get some rest. Got to take a shower because I haven't showered in
about two days, right? Then we're going to go out for dinner. I really like this part of Naples.
There's the ocean. I could go running later. Just looking for a place to eat right now and just
get some workout in and go to bed. I feel like I haven't slept in days.
Charming little restaurant. I thought my first meal would be pizza in Naples, but
this restaurant recommended freshly caught fried fish. This looks good too.
Crunchy, fresh. When they said fried fish, I thought it was going to be like a fish steak or
something. So I wasn't really expecting much, but yeah. In Italy, when they say fried fish,
they probably eat a whole fish. Still hungry, but it's pretty late. Got a long day, early day
tomorrow. So I figured I'd go running and go to bed. This is a really, really cool place to run.
Look how pretty. That thing looks creepier now. Let's say you're offered a free room
in that castle. Would you stay the night? Good morning. Hey, let's check out the balcony daytime.
Wow. Not bad. So today we're filming here in Naples and then we're heading to the Amalfi
coast to film over there. It's really just one night. Then we're coming back here and filming
some more. It's so nice. Old castle in the morning and that's kind of out of place, right?
A sign for a strip club, like a thousand year old castle, strip club. Breakfast looks pretty
darn good here. A lot of pastries. A little starch heavy. Looks good. Wow. This is just like a
fried wedge of cheese. Tasty. Really heavy. Actually everything from the mushrooms to
even the tomatoes. Really heavy handed seasoning. Strong flavors.
Oh, this is heavenly. This is amazing. Wow. We just finished our shoot and I got these two
really addicted on Switch. On the Zelda game. Zelda. Now they want to buy one like immediately.
We must have it. What if Zelda's in Italian? Then we're gonna learn really fast. Yeah. It's
gonna be like half Switch, half Rosetta Stone. All right. There you go. So we're gonna go buy
some Switches for these guys. Here we are. It's Mophie. Our hotel is this way.
That's pretty. Very rustic looking.
Okay. Ah, there we go. Whoa. This is huge. Big bed. Oh my gosh.
It's a massive living area. Balcony. You guys can't see much except for that lit up thing over
there, but that's the ocean over there. Can't wait to see that in the morning. Here for two nights.
Very, very nice. Okay. This is a little, not precise, but a closet and bathroom.
All right. Toothbrush. Slippers. Hi. Shower. Not that I'll be spending a lot of time here, but
pretty good. All right. We're going to go get dinner and then come back and I gotta go to bed,
but let's go eat. This is definitely haunted. That looks like a coffin. Just saying. That's
haunted too. Probably that tree's haunted as well. Who knows? It's all haunted here. Oh, geez.
Yo, there's some shadowy, demonic, whatever the heck that is.
Look at that. You guys let me know if you see someone peeking through the window. Okay.
That was a pretty fail.
Oh, look at that. That looks pretty darn good.
It needs something like a little acidic, maybe hot water.
Yeah, right. I think Karen got a better dish than I did. Of course I did.
This restaurant definitely has great views. Food though. Very mediocre.
Oh, that's nice. Heading back to Naples today. This will be missed.
Pamalfi. This region to me is very similar to Cinque Terre. It's just a bunch of coastal towns
almost connected together. Both really, really beautiful. Both famous for their lemons.
See that connection there? Hey, look. Asian dryer. Also Italian dryer.
Up this alley into a traditional plaza.
Oh, that is beautiful. It's like a... Is that Byzantine style?
That's a beautiful church. Love walking through Italy. Love it. So pretty.
100 year old fountain. Look at this. That's kind of creepy though. Horses running on the road
in front of us, herded by a kind of Mercedes with a branch. That's as Italian as it gets.
And there's a dog. That dog is keeping stride. Good job, doggy.
Look at that little dog. Oh, look at it. It stopped for breathing.
What is it like? That's just a twig.
Well, that's it for my time here in Naples. First time I came here, I only saw one area which,
you know, the food was great. It wasn't probably the safest and nicest. Very traditional,
very historic though. This area, this is just pure beautiful. Well, onto the next food adventure.
