2023 Infiniti QX60 Sensory Is this the BEST Luxury 3-Row SUV?

Welcome to another Cars Unlocked episode here. Today I'm presenting to you the 2023 Infiniti Q60. We got the sensory edition behind me. This one has an MSRP here in Canada of $66,995 and let's look at the front end here. Now the Infiniti Q60 was released in 2015 and for 2022 it saw a major overhaul here and you can see this new nice bold aggressive styling. Going to compete with vehicles like the Acura MDX. So guys comment below what you guys think. If you guys have driven both models what you think between the two models. But let's look at the front here and we see this massive large front aggressive grille. Now we do have LED headlights. They are the auto leveling headlights and we have this nice chrome. And then our embedded front grille here as well. Forward sensors all the way around which is going to help when you're parking. And then down below we just have this little smoked out gray bumper. Under the hood we're packing a 3.5 V6 with direct injection. It's going to give you about 295 horsepower, 270 pounds feet of torque. So a ton of power. It's going to give you that nine speed automatic transmission that Nissan and Infiniti are really moving around right now. Come around let's check out the sides here. A few things that I really love is the chrome. Just gives this a nice pop right when you look. The chrome on the handles, the chrome on the door sills, and we have all around the windows. And then we have our roof rails in silver which is really nice. On our mirrors, the mirrors are power folding mirrors and they do have a welcome lighting when you're getting in. But my eyes just gravitate right towards these 20 inch aluminum alloy rims. I love the kind of split spoke here with the gray insert on the rim. Obviously front and rear disc brakes on our all-season tires. For fuel economy you're looking at about 10.8 liters per every 100 kilometers combined or about 21.7 mpg for all my American friends. Let's open it up and check out the interior here guys. I love how everything is laid out. There isn't a lot of gloss which I actually like. I like this trim a lot better. Shows less dirt and helps keep the car clean. You do have heated and air-conditioned ventilated seats here and I love just the bolstering on the seat. So really impressed with the Infiniti seat and what they've done with the new interior style for 2022 models. I also like this drive mode selection. So you can select a few different modes. There's an economy mode, there's a sport mode, and there's an auto all-wheel drive mode like a snow mode as well. For infotainment you get this 12.3 infinity dynamic meter display. Comes with the Infiniti InTouch services. It's a 12.3 color touchscreen and then you have this infotainment controller down here below right in the center stack. But you can do things like Apple CarPlay, Android Auto. With the Apple users you can also do it wirelessly. So wireless Apple CarPlay. You don't have to plug your phone in. And let's look at the camera here. A couple different camera options. Right now it's showing the front angle and then there's our around view monitor there. You can change the angle. That's if you're parallel parking and it will just assist you. And there's a wide angle if maybe you're towing or you're backing up to a trailer. And that's our kind of split screen style that we see here with our nav and then our radio station right here. Obviously you can do your Bluetooth connections for your phone and things like that. This one comes with the Infiniti intelligent all-wheel drive system which you can see by the badging here. Nice chrome bumper protector will also help when you're putting things in and out. And it's already equipped for towing. So it can tow up to 6,000 pounds. So if you're towing with the Infiniti you should have no problem. Here's the big test. How consistent and first try is the motion activated lift gate. Right when you put your foot right under there. Big cargo department here. You do have the power return seats. So you can lift those up just with the touch of a button here. Takes a little bit of time. There is a little bit of hidden storage underneath as well for things like your snow brushes, first aid kits, whatever you want to put back there. When you punch it like it it punches it. And I love that with these bigger SUVs that you can feel it pulling ahead of you. A ton of towing if you do need to tow. One thing that I notice when I'm driving it is how comfortable the seats are. Like this is a real comfortable seat here and it really bolsters you. You can do the massage with the seats if you want that on those long drives to keep you a little relaxed a bit while you drive. And then there's two memory positions as well. Memory key so it will memorize your radio station, your climate control, it will memorize your last route that you punched into your nav. Your seat position syncs with the key. There's a lot going on up here guys with this Infiniti key. So perfect if you have multiple drivers, husband and wife, things like that. Another 12.3 inch screen is behind the gauges here and this is for obviously you can see our speedometer, tachometer, we have our fuel economy, all of our settings, our pro pilot assist will come on as well. There's our blind spot and safety features. So a ton of things that you can change up around in here and you can customize this display to fit what you're looking for and set it up however you like. One thing you might be wondering about with when you have family in the back here like how's the safety. There is so many safety features in this thing like I put them all on my phone because I can't even list them all. So first of all you're gonna get the forward collision warning, the forward emergency braking with the pedestrian detection, rear automatic emergency braking, rear cross traffic alert, a round view monitor with moving object detection, blind spot monitor, blind spot intervention if you change lanes, lane departure warning with the haptic feedback on the wheel. So the wheel is gonna vibrate when you change lanes and it has the lane departure prevention. So if you go to change lanes and someone is in your blind spot it will force you back. You have things like the pro pilot steering assist, the speed adjust by your route so it will know the speed sign and the speed from the navigation and you have the speed sign recognition. Intelligent cruise control with full stop and hold so it will come to a complete stop if you're in a traffic jam and start up again and then you have that driver attention alert if you're on a long drive. You also have the rear door alert for your kids so you don't forget something or somebody in the back. All the safety features on this thing and that's what you want for your family. Jumping in the back here this one is the seven seat configuration so you have three seats here, heated seats right here for your passengers and then you have a USB. There's also 120 volt power outlet to charge but quite a bit of space back here. These seats are also on rails so I can move them forward and backward to make my passengers comfy. I also have the window curtains as well help with the UV rays. Check this out as well we've seen this before but the camera is displayed right in the rear view mirror making it a little easier while you're driving. I like how you can turn it on and off and then obviously you have the garage door openers as well with the universal home link. Big test is how you enter the back seat here and pretty easy one touch and you're going forward. Now I'm a big dude I'm 5'9". Let's see a little tight on the legs back here but this seat can be moved forward and adjusted. I like how there's a USB back here as well and the best thing is there's just a one touch release for your passengers to get out. Look I can just push that button and it's really easy for me to escape the back seat so that's going to help you don't have to keep coming back here and getting the seat for your passengers. 17 Bose performance speakers in this thing the audio sounds phenomenal. That's through the Sirius XM so you can subscribe to the Sirius satellite radio. More technology you also get the heads-up display right on the screen there. You can tell by my voice that I'm super excited about this car and I love how it looks and how it drives. Big big roof opens up just with the touch of a button here and it's a full panoramic roof.
