Update

Hey guys, today's Friday. I do have a little bit of an update and I'll share that with you guys. But this vlog is going to be kind of like mixed up. I vlogged a little bit yesterday and then some from today, so it's gonna kind of be like mixed up. But I wanted to start today by sincerely thanking each and every single one of you. I feel beyond blessed to have as many people as we do praying for my dad. And just like all your sweet and thoughtful comments. There have been nothing but nice things said and I am just truly, truly grateful from the bottom of my heart for each and every single one of you that left a nice comment or even if you didn't, just for saying a silent prayer for my dad. I know there's thousands of people out there praying for him right now and he really needs it and he's still going to need it over the next week. So thank you guys again and I will continue to keep you updated as we find more things out. Hi, Shane. We're here. Okay. Do you need help? Good morning. We are here to pick up my dad. We're gonna go run a couple of errands with him. I'm just seeing if he needs any help getting out here right now. But I will give you guys a little bit of an update. I do have an update. It's not a good update as of right now. It's actually pretty crappy. So, do you need any help? Okay, babe, our dryer. I thought it was our washer that was stinky, but it's our freaking dryer. And I Googled, like, I can't even wear this shirt right now. It smells so bad. Like, Simon hugged me today and he said he wanted to throw up. He said it stunk so bad. Listen, you know why it is? Why? Because Russ did his laundry two days ago. And he took all of his socks and put his socks in the laundry and did his laundry. So now our dryer smells like Russell's feet. The worst thing humanly possible. It's bad, dude. Okay, the other night I washed our sheets like four times because I'm like, why do they stink so bad? Like, they smelled good before I washed them. And then I washed them and they smelled like, it's not even mildew, it's like rotten feet. What? He goes down to Smith's, every paycheck, and buys a pack of socks. And the ones that he wears, he just throws in the fire and burns them. Just throw them in the fire, burn them. We don't need, that's it. You can't afford it. It's six bucks a week. I don't even, I don't think they would accept them at the dump. No, that's why we gotta burn them, we don't accept Russell's socks. We gotta burn them, dude. You can burn them at the sink. Okay, well anyway, I looked up information on like, why does my dryer stink? I smell, the washer, the washer smells great. I thought for sure it was the washer. I smelled, I opened up the dryer and just like, stinky feet, that's what it smells like. So, anyway, they said it's like, something to do with like, lint. Stinky lint that's caught somewhere. I cleaned out the dryer thing, but I don't know what else to do. Like, it says to check the lint from outside. Russ, tell Russ I can smell his feet from like, the mailbox. No, I, if I'm outside and he's inside, I can smell them while getting the mail. I'm just kidding. Yeah, that's a pot. But, anyway, I can't stay here and smell myself any longer. I need to go do something like, wash it and then just air dry, I don't know. This sucks. Air dry it, okay. Talk to you soon, love ya. Bye. Thomas is, what are you crying at? Oh, this? Thomas right now is in New Mexico. He's working with his brother. He'll be there for a couple of days, so. It's just me and the boys, and I swear, every time, like, Thomas isn't in the house, a giant spider shows its face. Why? Why does that happen to me every single time? Let me just zoom in. Can you see it's crawling? Cohen, are you scared? Oh my gosh, Cohen! I will get you a treat if you kill it. You have to kill it, though. If it just falls, then you don't get the treat. You gotta kill it. You gotta put your hand inside the shoe and squeeze, and squish it. Come on, you can do it. You can do it. Cohen, yeah, like that, and then squish it. One, two, three, kill it! Is it dead? Oh gosh, thank you. Oh, he killed it dead. What? What kind of treat? Okay, I'll get you hot chips. Okay, thank you for saving my life. Give me five. Also, I wanted to show you how pretty. I hung up this garland. This was on my counter last year, and I just don't like the clutter of garland on my counter, so I decided to hang them up here. Right now, I need to grab an extension cord, but it's just plugged into the tree lights, so they won't look like that for much longer, but we also hung wreaths on all the windows. Out there, you can see them. This one keeps falling off, so I don't know what to do about that. This one is held on strong, but from outside, it looks so cute. I love all of the cute little wreaths. It is snowing right now, too. It looks like rain, but they're little tiny flakes. I just love, no, it looks stupid with that wreath gone and that string right there, and I was just standing on that chair. I just love garland and lights. I think it's so pretty, and it is so simple, but I love our tree and our whole living room this year. I have to show you guys what Ezra does when I turn this on. Such a good brother. That's so disgusting. I have to do this so that all their hairs will dry this way, otherwise their hair dries crazy. Ezra, everything's okay. He just looks at it and runs. Now I'm going to do it after you. Oh, did you just punch your brother? Look at him, he's all mad now. Do you guys see what I'm seeing? Look at all that snow. Yeah. What's that? Car? Nope, that wasn't da-da. Come on, shut the door. Let's go. What is this? What is this snow? Good job, sweetheart, let's go. So I already opened up my girl package. I wanted to give you guys my first impressions. Is that what you say? My first impression of this laundry soap, Pear Blossom Agave. I might be butchering that, but anyway, I've heard really good things about this. This is a really tiny little top, which means this product is highly concentrated. My nose is kind of stuffed, so this might not be the best thing. Oh my goodness, you guys. That smells like the most yummiest perfume. Oh my gosh, no wonder people rave about this. Well, I'm excited to use it and have a delicious smell on my clothes. I will have my link in the description box. Anyone that wants to try out Grove, you get, I believe you get a gift set for free. But this is definitely, if you are on the hunt for a new detergent, this is amazing, smells so good. Hi, dude. So we went to the dollar store and I grabbed this pack of three cars for Christmas and this kid saw it and started screaming in the store. He's like, open it, yay! He loves cars. What, oh yeah, that fell, huh? Did the garland fall? Can you show us how you, let's see you race your cars. Show us how you race your cars. I swear it does not take a lot to impress a child. Woo. Ezra's favorite word right now is fall and so he will fall on purpose so he can say, fall? It's so funny. I do have a little bit of an update from my dad. He went in yesterday for his appointment to do that procedure where they would, I don't really understand it, but they were gonna do something that was gonna help his fingers. Well, his potassium level was way too high. They said if he went into surgery, that he would have a heart attack, guaranteed he would have a heart attack. So they couldn't do it. They have to wait like a week before they can do this procedure, but I know the longer they have to wait, the worse that it is. I mean, his fingers are just dying right now and so I know the longer they have to wait, the worse it's going to be. I know that's not much of an update. It's kind of just like more waiting, but maybe, you know, I'm just gonna keep praying so hard for him over this week that he, that everything will just work out and like please, I just want him to be able to keep his fingers. Like I said before, he was so athletic and then when he couldn't use his legs anymore, like that's when he turned to the guitar and doing things that he can do with his hands and he's been a musician my whole life. Like I've never not known him to play the guitar and the piano and he plays like the, my favorite is when he plays the piano man and he'll sit there at the piano with a harmonica and can do them both at the same time. But that's what's just so sad is it's like if, there's just not much he'll be able to do as you can imagine. And just with how crappy he feels, it's just like the cherry on top. You know what I mean? Like he already feels so crappy all the time.
