We take advantage of our first trip to the Cayman Islands, Grand Cayman specifically, to visit Don Fosters Dive Cayman and get below the surface of the gorgeous blue waters of these amazing islands. The scuba diving is really nice and the crew is good too. We dive Sand Chute and the Wreck of the Oro Verde. Any day underwater is a good day and this was a great day indeed! We take a short break to visit friends in Florida but still manage to get to gorgeous Cozumel Mexico just in time for the Ironman competition in Cozumel...as observers, not competitors :-) While the amazing competitors are hammering their way through the course, we head out to get our fill of local food. We even find and awesome example of the Mexican specialty Huitlacoche. If you haven't tried this it is a must when in Mexico. To close out this weeks adventure we run into comedian Don Grey who, on top of being a really nice and funny guy, runs a great podcast called Comedy Fitness Podcast. Keep drinking this coffee!

We're at Don Foster's, the water's beautiful, crystal clear, we're going to soon find out
what it's like to die in the Cayman Islands.
The last job it was doing was delivering bananas around the Caribbean.
That's hence the name, why they get the name Green Gold, because they would have gone to Jamaica first, picked up the bananas there, they would have been freed by the time they got here to the Cayman, to Cuba, to Miami, to return gold.
And just like that, we're in Cozumel. We got off in Miami and visited some friends, then got on another ship, which ended up dropping us off early.
Surprisingly enough, it was cheaper to get off early than it was to fly all the way to Cozumel.
I've always wanted to see the Ironman competition and we're lucky in two days it's going to be here. So I get to go see all those people from the sideline, of course.
When I was a kid, my uncle got me interested in scuba diving. I used to read about Cozumel, Mexico in the back of Skin Diver magazine.
Eventually I became an instructor and got to come here and start diving here and I just fell in love with the place.
This place Kate and I are staying is the very first hotel that I ever stayed at in Cozumel, like, I don't know, 20, 25 years, a good long time ago.
But it's cool to be back here. Gorgeous view. Awesome island. The view today is a little blocked. Cozumel is always like home.
We're at Dona Diaz by the palace and this is the entire menu of everything you can have in the quesadilla.
This is chicharron and salsa verde. Really crunchy. It's soft. Verde has a little bit of bite to it. It's really good.
Chicharron is fried pork rind. The next one is wheat locoche, which is like a fungus or a mushroom that grows on a corn.
It's creamy, has corn flavor, but it's also, I don't know how to explain it, but it's really creamy and has lots of flavor.
That doesn't help you at all, but it's really good.
Wheat locoche is, you'll probably only find it in Mexico. Next one is tinga de pi. And it's a specialty chicken and it has chicken flavor with sauteed onions.
It's mild, but I'd have to say that's my favorite. So let's dig in.
While we were stuffing ourselves, all these people were running the Ironman.
This is our friend Don Gray. We met on the ship and he's a comedian.
Hey everybody. Sorry to interrupt.
No, go for it.
No, no, no. It's so great to be at Sexy Coffee here on a crazy ride to the beach. It's so fantastic.
I learned more about travel by listening to him on this ride for the last 15 minutes and I have retorned myself the last 10 years.
You guys are very informative. Keep drinking this coffee.
And he has a podcast. It's called...
Comedy Fitness Podcast. Check it out. Comedyfitness.com, www.comedyfitness.com. Everything is there. It's all free.
There's caffeine involved, but no coffee. But keep it up. Thank you guys so much for checking it out. Keep traveling.
