How to sell a car in Dubai. Life in the UAE.

And today in this video I want to share with you the information about how to sell a car in the UAE. So guys, why I decided to share this information with you today? I am selling my car at the moment. It's a small car Ford Fiesta and I don't have any experience in selling cars especially here in Dubai. So I had to go through the whole process to find out all information because there is a lot of fraud everywhere and it's so important to be aware of all details. So today I want to share with you my experience so when you need to sell your car you will be aware of the whole process. The first very important thing never accept personal checks at the payment because there were so many situations when the checks have bounced and the writers were not found. The next very important thing you should know that your car cannot be sold if there is any outstanding loans on it. First of all you have to settle a loan and only then you can start the selling process because it's obvious that your car still belongs to the bank. Once sold the car registration has to be transferred to the new owner. You have to terminate your insurance policy. The new owner has to take a car to the authorized center. It's called like this and to get car tested and get his insurance policy. Then you have to submit a transfer form along with the new insurance policy passport driving license copy at the same center and the car will be transferred to the new owner. If you have any outstanding loans on your car you will be asked to pay them as well otherwise the transfer won't happen. Make sure that when the transfer is done you have a copy of the new registration card under the name of the new buyer. It will be like an evidence that the transfer was done successfully. So now let's talk about how to advertise your car. There are different ways of doing it but one thing you should know it's illegal to place any note like for sale on the window of your car because you can get your car impounded. The best way for me is to advertise your car on Dubizel. Dubizel is a big marketplace in the UAE and I think it's the best way to sell your car. There are two options how you can sell your car. You can place an ad by yourself or you can go through the company which is called Expert Wheels. Honestly guys I didn't know about Expert Wheels. I think it's a new service but when I found out about them I was really surprised because I'm traveling now and I will be out of the country for the whole month and honestly I was a bit frustrated how to sell my car because I won't be here and I have nobody here who can take care of the car and show them to people. I have friends who live here but they're all busy they have work and they they're not so flexible and then I found out about Expert Wheels. This guy handles completely the selling process. You just need to take the car to the office and they will do the inspection they will take pictures of your car they will list it on Dubizel. Your ad will be featured so when people search for your car or for the similar range of cars your ad will be on the top which is very important and it's for a limited period of time until your car is sold. Once your car is sold these guys will do the transfer to the new owner they will take care of all paperwork and they will protect you against any financial scams. So this guy will handle the entire selling process. You just need to take the car to their office they will do an inspection if there are any issues they will help you to fix them. After they will take pictures of your car they will post them on Dubizel. Your pictures will be featured and if people look for your car or for the similar range of cars they will see your ad because it will be on the top of the list. Then they will handle all phone calls, they will arrange viewings, they will negotiate the price and after the car is sold they will handle the entire transfer process with RTA and you just need to take money back actually and it's done. The car is sold and you will be protected against any financial scams as well. The car will stay with you for the entire period of time but like in my case I'm traveling and there is an option I can keep my car in the warehouse of the expert wheels but I have to pay monthly like 216 dirhams. This is more convenient for me because I haven't issues with parking my building. You know in Dubai it's a big issue especially in Dubai marina there is no parking everywhere so I will keep the car with them in the warehouse and they will take care of it. They will arrange all viewings and I don't need to worry about it. Once they find a buyer they will just call me, they will inform me or they will message me the price they are offering and if I agree the car is sold they will do all paperwork and everything is done. So I'm completely happy that I discovered this new service and guys now I will show you actually how to apply for this service online. So guys if you want to sell your cars through Dubizil you have to go to dubizil.com website. If you live in Dubai you should choose Dubai city and when you go there you have to register. I already registered actually I am under Deniz account and then in the right corner you can find a button place your ad. You have to click on it and here you see a lot of options. You can sell your car, you can sell property, you can find a job and if you are an employer you can list a job offer. So in our case we want to sell a car. I click on it so here we have to type the name of our car. In my case it's Ford Fiesta 2015. Here you have to choose a category and you want to sell a car or you want to sell accessories parts, you want to sell a van or you have any other offers. So in my case I want to sell a car. I click on the option number one, go to the next step. Now we have two options we can list the car by ourselves or we can sell it through expert wheels. So I decided to sell it through expert wheels. So now we have to fill out the details of your car Ford Fiesta year 2015 30 000 kilometers regional GCC specs. If you don't have GCC specs expert wheels will not sell your car. They only deal with the car with GCC specs. This is not my number so I won't type anything here. Below you can see how sell it for me works. First of all you have to pay 999 dirhams plus five percent BAT upfront through this website for the featured ad on Dubizel. Then the consultant will call you, they will schedule an appointment with you, they will evaluate your car and you have to fill out some forms and to discuss the price with them. Once it's done they list your car on Dubizel and they will handle all calls and viewings with the buyers. When they find a buyer they will contact you, they will discuss if you are fine with the offered price. If you agree they sell your car, they will do all paperwork, the transfer process and once the car is sold you have to pay 2000 dirhams plus BAT to the expert wheels and that's it. So guys regarding the price for the service they charge 1000 dirhams for an ad on Dubizel and your ad will be featured for the unlimited amount of time until your car is sold. I think it's not that much money because when you advertise on Dubizel by yourself you still have to pay quite a lot of money. I think it's 500 dirhams if you want to get your ad featured for two weeks only. And then once your car is sold you have to pay 2000 dirhams. To them it's a fixed price, it doesn't matter how much your car costs. So I think it's quite an easy process.
