🎃HUGHES HALLOWEEN SPECIAL 2022 | Trick Or Treating to my Old Houses

I hope all of you had the best Halloween yesterday. If you celebrate. If not, I hope you still had a great day. But I always love to vlog our entire holidays. So any holiday I like to film the entire day. On Halloween morning I like to wake my kids up with some kind of little surprise. I don't go overboard on candy but I just like to give them flashlights or trick-or-treat bags and just a few little random things I have set out here on the table. On this morning our kids did not have school so we kind of had a slow morning getting up and I love that. It was really nice to be able to kind of sleep in on Halloween morning. So again we woke up. We had some breakfast and then in a few hours we are going to head to my mom's work. She works for the school district and they always have the kids come trick-or-treating. Anyone that has grandkids or children can bring their kids to come trick-or-treat. So that's where we're going next and this is kind of bittersweet because my mom has worked here for eight years now and this is her last year. She is retiring this year so this will be the last year that we get to take our kids here and this has become a big tradition for our family. We love doing this. I feel like we get a big head start on trick-or-treating. They get so much candy here so that's what we're going to spend the next few hours doing before we head out to really trick-or-treat through the neighbors. Look it's inside. It's way up the nose. Don't smile. Don't smile. I dare you not to smile. Okay so every year we give the kids some glow sticks so we can see you in the night. Okay can you guys break your glow sticks? I think it's time. So Cohen who are you being? Simon who are you being? And Ezra who are you being? Doctor Strange. Come show me your necklace. Well it's an emerald by the way. That's an emerald? That is so real looking. You look just like him. People are gonna think you're actually Doctor Strange. Well I don't really like this one here. Oh because there's a fake one too? Yeah. It's okay. Let's fix your collar. I thought his collar was gonna be like that big because I saw in Hulk versus Captain America. You mean Doctor Strange? Oh yeah. Doctor Strange. He has this long collar. Yeah he does have a long collar huh? It does look like a lightsaber. That's so cool. Oh you guys are the most festive kids I've ever seen. Yeah you get to pick a candy at our house. Random woman. Random woman I've never met in my life. Okay the kids made me put this on last minute. I wasn't gonna wear it. We finally got Elliot to put on his little helmet. Well not his helmet but his little hat thing. The little hat situation. That is way too big for him but you look so cute as Buzz. I think officially all of you guys have been Buzz. Every single one of you have been Buzz. Ezra's been Buzz too. You have been Buzz too. You were Buzz when you guys were two. Oh were you Woody? Maybe that was you as Woody. Everyone's been Buzz except Simon. Simon you're gonna have to be Buzz one year. Okay let me see you guys together. So we are trick-or-treating on the street that I grew up on and it's bringing me back like so many memories. In fact so many of the people still live in like the same house. So I'm like hey are you Doug? I've known half the people huh? Thomas is like oh my gosh everyone still lives here and like remembers you. Look how fast he's running. So this is another house we lived in. So we lived in this house for a few years. I have a lot of memories trick-or-treating here. I don't think that they're here. Well now that's not right to have a beautiful person on Halloween night. You ready to go trick-or-treating? Yeah. Cool. I noticed that we have a November person. It said October 31st earlier but it's still October 31st. I don't mind that day. She's getting ready to go trick-or-treating too. Can't you tell? She's hiding under the bed. There she goes. Hey Ashley take a look at the camera. Give me a big smile. Did you see the other kids have already gone? Yeah the other kids have already gone. They took off a long time ago with their friends. They're getting to that age now. Let me see if I can find Ashley. Oh where'd she go? All I see is a blank toilet. Here we go. Where's Ashley? There she is looking out the window. Ashley look at me. Hey ahoy there Mickey. Look at that beautiful girl. Look at her. Go get your candy. He might need it. He might need his smarty. I don't know where he got this second wind. He needs to go back in the stroller. No he got him. Guys let's cross over here. That's so smart. Say thank you. Hi the needles. Good to see you. Happy Halloween. Trick or treat. Hi grandma. Well he can get one. Get one? Okay that's right. I knew one of you said Butterfinger. I love your shirt. You know what? I made this 40 years ago. 40 years ago. Maybe longer. I remember those when you did like the glue. I was 40. I would have been 48. I might have been about 40. It could have been 48 years ago. Wow that has outlived me. It's older than you are. Yes it is. Oh Wait wait he's gonna put his finger in that mouth. Okay now I've got the little guy. Oh fantastic. Fantastic. I love you to pieces. Okay one two three dump it. You caught a rock? That's so good. Are you gonna build a house? Cohen what are you gonna do? Cohen's organizing his. That's what we're going for. Cavity central. What do you guys say we go and make a fire and roast some mollos? Would that be fun? White Reese's. Those are the best. You want the play-doh? Okay. Okay what was your favorite part about today Ezra? I liked it when all of these guys just singed. I remember like that show. Oh where we went to the show. That was so cool with the house. Simon what was your favorite part of tonight? The trick-or-treating. Trick-or-treating? Cohen what about you?
