Look at that pig. Oh, yeah boys. What is that? That's a, that's a, that's a small one for sure.
Yeah, that's a nice one. Nice one boys.
We just got out to the lake. Last minute trip for the new year. First time out ice fishing.
Oh my, that's inappropriate. This channel is not made for kids.
We're going to try to get set up somewhere out here where it's about, I don't know,
22, 25 feet of water. Andrew's going to drill a hole. We're going to start checking depths.
Thanks for tuning in, ladies and gentlemen. Go subscribe if you're new to the channel.
And Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, you filthy animals.
So we parked over there. We've walked, I don't know, about 50, 75 yards. Found this
thing sticking out of the snow. Nice. He's nice and frosty too. I want those shades.
But there's like some Veronica shades dude. I know. Look at his little hat too. Those shades are like
LASIK. That's what they give you. Oh, that's what it is. It's a little
little snowman on a on a tiki torch somebody put out here.
It's already a fish on mine, boys. Yep. And three, two, one. Oh yeah, boys. What is that?
That's a smaller. Whoa, boys. Look down your hole. You can't see it, bro. Oh my god, dude.
Oh my god, bro. Ander, take this Vex. This thing's got dead weight to it.
Come on, let me get my ---- to the bottom foot. Oh god, he just ran, dude.
Oh, he's still on. He's still on. He's got my line all the way on the side of the hole.
That's sketch. Huge smallie. Huge smallie. Holy. Huge. Oh, he's got me tangled up. He's
got me tangled up. Huge. Pretty big. Pretty big. Dude, did anybody bring a scale? I didn't bring
mine. I forgot. Actually, I think mine's in my truck. There we go. That's a chunk. Let me see.
It's a chunk.
Oh my god. Pretty nice smallie. It's about three and a half. Yeah. Chunk. As soon as I dropped it.
Yeah, I wouldn't say four or anything. I feel like that gut was bigger.
First fish on the day. 23 feet of water. Whoa, hey now. Here we go. Nice.
I think I got the hook set on that one. Yes, sir. Good old smallie. Oh, he's running.
Yeah, that's a nice one. Nice one, boys. Good fish. Good fish, dude. I just go to grab him and he's
just... There she goes. So that's where we're set up actually right now, but it's been pretty
slow the last couple hours. I caught a, I don't know, about a three pound smallmouth.
Dakota caught a couple bigger smallmouth, but haven't had a bite for a couple hours.
You can see where we dragged our stuff, but we're actually set up where we parked.
Where we parked right here, we're set up on like a like a flat that's like eight feet of water,
so we're going to fish a little bit shallower and see how that goes just to get out of the
ice house and stretch out and see if maybe the fish are hanging out a little bit shallower.
I just found this. I don't know if this is a piece of smelt or can't tell because there's so much
still covered in snow, but I don't want to do too much talking, but we've had a pretty brutal start
to the winter. As you can see, a lot of snow. We got hit with an early storm of about 24 inches
and the ice is already about 18 to 20 inches here, so.
Yeah, there's a big boy sitting on bottom, dude. I don't know what he's doing, but
it's 10 feet. My guess is a pike. Yeah, probably.
Trying to make a hole here. Kind of punching holes throughout and trying to
mark fish. It's a lot of work. It's not for the faint of heart. That's all I got to say.
Takes a lot of running around and I want to see if you're not in good shape.
It'll get you in shape pretty quick. What do we have here? 20, 25 feet.
Dakota just hooked into a big, big boy. Did you mark it at all or no? Oh yeah,
fast marking all the way up and watch my rod tip load up. I'm just going to set that there.
What the was that? It's a pike.
Oh dude, your stuff. Your stuff came out, huh? Yeah, I got it.
I didn't realize he came off. Yeah, I was like, oh, Dakota's pike.
Look at that pig. It's your fish.
Good old slime snake.
Look at that pig. Yeah, there you go. Hold it. Hold it this way. So there you go. Right in the
light. Look at that pig. Good enough.
