The former superstar baller LaMarcus Aldridge who is best known as the seven-time all-star for the Trail Blazers, Spurs, and Nets in the NBA has managed to snag himself some pretty luxurious real estate. Aldridge is no stranger to bouncing around homes, as he has owned a trio of homes in South Lake, Texas. The first was built in 2007 and offers 6,950 square feet of living space and includes a home theatre and beverage station in the master suite. While the second was built in 2015 and spans 3,918 square feet and includes a spacious courtyard with a plunge pool. Completing the trilogy and perhaps his finest of the Texas homes was the 9,570 square foot estate that includes a resort-style backyard with a stunning pool, patio, and fountains. However, the third South Lake home rivals his Newport Coast palace he flipped four months after purchasing it that offered a tiled swimming pool with a circular spa and multiple patios that boast stunning ocean views. Ladies and gentlemen, this is a house tour you do want to miss!
The former superstar baller Lamarcus Aldridge, who's played with the Trailblazers, Spurs,
and Nets in the NBA, has lived in some super luxurious real estate over the years.
He's owned a trio of mansions in South Lake, Texas, one with features like a home theatre
and beverage station in the master suite, while another one of his estates boasted a
resort-style backyard.
Aside from these 3 beauties, Lamarcus even owned a stunning pad in Crystal Cove, California,
and today we're going to take a look at his properties.
In these videos we don't reveal any addresses and even though I've done a house tour of
my own place, please do not show up at any private residences because it's not safe
for anyone.
Lamarcus Aldridge is a former professional basketball player best known as the 7 time
all star in the NBA.
After playing college basketball for 2 seasons with the Texas Longhorns, he was selected
second overall in the 2006 NBA Draft.
After spending 9 seasons with the Portland Trailblazers, he then signed with the San
Antonio Spurs in 2015, and had most recently signed with the Brooklyn Nets in March 2021.
Unfortunately, his latest contract with the Nets was short lived.
Only 2 weeks later, Lamarcus denounced his retirement from basketball due to a health
scare involving an irregular heartbeat.
The all-star ball player had already amassed quite the net worth despite an early retirement,
which is estimated to be around 40 million dollars.
Playing for the Spurs, of course Lamarcus had some amazing homes in South Lake, Texas.
Just wait until you see the second one there that featured a plunge pool and courtyard.
I absolutely loved it.
However, the third and final Texas home may have just been the finest of them all.
I'll let you guys be the judge.
Welcome back everyone!

Lamarcus' love affair with South Lake, Texas began back in 2011 when he spent a modest
1.64 million dollars for an off-season spread that featured 6,950 square feet and boasted
5 bedrooms and 7 bathrooms.
Built in 2007, the two-story abode included a number of stunning highlights including
a gourmet kitchen, billiards room, home theater, gaming room, and possibly the sickest feature
of all, a master suite complete with private fireplace and beverage station.
This estate was set on nearly 1 acre of land and included spectacular backyard features
like a flagstone-lined patio and play area which was set under a sizable covered porch.
Not to be outdone by his pool with waterfall, spa, and fire pit with lounging spaces just
adjacent to the other amenities.
Despite all of the deluxe features, the NBA star listed this spread in July of 2012 for
around 1.7 million dollars.
While the listing photos may be a little outdated, it's quite obvious Lamarcus had himself
quite a sleek layout.
We're able to see a number of lounging areas decorated with plush furnishings, stone fireplaces,
chandeliers, and even a classy wood paneled home office inside.
These kinds of features are only found at A-list celebrities or superstar athlete homes.
Also, I'm really digging the billiards room, home theater, and media center.
Looks like a really nice spot to entertain or simply kick back and relax.
And as I mentioned in the intro, one selling point of this home had to be his master suite
that came complete with sitting area and view, private fireplace, and a wet bar near the
comfort of your own bed.
I would say that's the ultimate off-season retreat.
Not to mention, Lamarcus is a sucker for his kicks, so he had himself a spacious walk-in
closet with plenty of room for as many pairs as he wants.
What part of this Southlake home was your fave?
The saltwater pool with waterfall?
Or the interior features like that master suite?
I would say it's hard to choose.
Now onto the next.
Lamarcus's second installment of his impressive Southlake homes was this 3 story townhouse
spanning 3,918 square feet, offering up 3 bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms, which may be more
than you'd expect when you hear the word townhouse.
Built in 2015, these digs, covered in red brick, offered high end details including
granite counters, wide plank doors, and 10 foot high ceilings with designer finishes.
Upon entry, this stunning home includes an open floor plan that includes a chef's kitchen,
both family and dining room, and games room.
It was most definitely a standout, and as per listing photos, you can notice the family
and dining room boasted sleek white furnishings, oversized windows, custom fittings and fixtures,
as well as a large flat screen television hovering over a built in fireplace.
Additionally, Lamarcus's former family room spread float onto this spacious courtyard
where there's a cute plunge pool.
I gotta say, I LOVE the look of this patio space, and the compact pool is a fancy addition.
Elsewhere, the gourmet kitchen came with stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and
an island with breakfast bar that can seat 5.
Additional kitchen features included chic custom cabinets, and a pantry with storage
space – essential for cooking up a storm.
While the estate may not possess the kind of luxurious backyard his previous Southlake
mansion had, the courtyard and plunge pool setup is quite charming like I said.
Some bonus features of the property included sumptuous outdoor furnishings, a barbecue
area with built in pizza oven, fire pit, and gardens with panoramic views of Southlake.
Not too shabby.
Completing the trilogy, and what might just be the showstopper of Lamarcus's Texas real
estate was his Southlake mansion he listed in 2019 for 5.2 million dollars.
I mean, with that all-star price tag, would you expect anything less?
Built in 2014, his former palace included 9,570 square feet on a lush 1 acre lot, and
boasted 6 bedrooms and 6.5 bathrooms inside.
This estate came with a number of living and dining spaces, including a dramatic living
room with wall of windows, coffered ceilings, and regal fireplace.
Then, the formal dining room was fitted with custom cabinetry and reclaimed wood table,
oversized windows, and a wine fridge worthy of bragging.
Moving onto the family room, here there were elegant white furnishings, an additional fireplace,
and large flat screen TV hovering over.
Family room also offered large glass doors giving direct access to the pool and patio.
This would be one perfect space to entertain that's for sure.
Not sure if Lamarcus likes to cook or not, but he had the space to do so in this gourmet
kitchen.
There was a large island with bar style seating, stainless steel appliances, and granite counters
Additionally, the kitchen included a breakfast nook, perfect for enjoying a meal with a view.
Perhaps one of this estate's most coveted features was Lamarcus' spacious master suite
with sitting area, fireplace, and private balcony overlooking the ground.
Not to mention the balcony was fully furnished, and came with a media center and wet bar too.
You'll be happy to know Lamarcus' crib was also sporting a walk in closet the size
of an NBA locker room, plenty of room for his kicks.
The attached resort style bathroom featured its own sitting space, fireplace, and wall
of windows touched nicely with granite soaking tub and large glass rain shower.
While all of that just about completes the interior features, the yard at Lamarcus'
home had even more goodies to offer.
There was a beautiful pool and spa, covered patio, barbeque area, and a fire pit.
There were also lush gardens, fountains, and more, all while the property had stunning
views of Southlake.
Not gonna lie, it's kind of shocking that the final house of this tour is not in Southlake,
but rather Crystal Cove, California.
Crystal Cove is in Newport Beach, located off the busy Pacific Coast Highway between
Corona Del Mar and Laguna, offering over 12 acres along the beautiful coast.
Anyways, this was the palace that Lamarcus owned for 4 months in 2016 before he flipped
it for a profit.
Considering that the basketball star purchased the luxe estate for 7 million, and then sold
it for 8.35 million dollars, we'll call that a win.
Hey, nothing wrong with making 1.35 million in a short 4 months.
A lot like these other luxurious California homes we've seen on this channel, his former
estate included 6,800 square feet of living space, and multiple living and dining rooms,
all of which were fully furnished to Lamarcus' liking.
Other features in the home included Fleetwood sliders allowing for that necessary indoor
and outdoor flow when you're by the ocean, chic fireplaces, enormous flat screen televisions,
and even a wet bar too.
Equally impressive was the fact that this estate featured it's very own gym with his
or hers change rooms, and a steam room for when you're done the workout.
I'd assume any NBA player would be into a feature like that.
The second floor master suite had it's own cozy vibe with a fireplace, sitting room,
and stunning balcony to take in ocean views.
Bonus points for the number of French doors found in the family, living, and dining rooms
that led to panoramic views.
Like many NBA stars who acquired California real estate, Lamarcus' backyard offered
a luxury experience with a tiled swimming pool and circular spa, and elsewhere there
were goodies like a barbeque station, fire pit, and wet bar.
Additionally, this yard boasted multiple patios, offering countless spots to soak up the sun.
So clearly we focused more on Lamarcus' Texas homes because he really only spent 4
months at this Crystal Cove abode, but needless to say it looks like a spot where he could
make those 4 months count.
Well done.
Alright so I think I'll bring this house tour to an end right here.
We got to take a quick look at all of NBA All Star Lamarcus Aldridge's former homes,
including the 3 Southlake Texas estates, plus the Crystal Cove pad he quickly flipped for
a profit.
Out of all 4 beautiful homes, did you guys have a favourite?
I was loving the Southlake homes, however I would have thought he would follow suit
like other NBA stars and snag some more Cali real estate.
I mean 4 months isn't enough to fall in love is it?
I guess we'll just have to wonder what's next for Lamarcus.
While the 2nd home was a townhouse and certainly not the biggest of the house tour, I loved
the courtyard set up with plunge pool and it was totally charming.
However if I had to pick one of the 4 homes to live in, I may have to go with the 3rd
Southlake mansion.
That one was hard to top.
Thanks for tuning in, don't forget to follow me over on Instagram and I will catch you
all in the next video.
Bye!
