While waiting to board our overnight train to Bangkok we wander around the Surat Thani Thailand and do some exploring. We arrive in Bangkok rested and ready see even more of this cultural gem that is Bangkok Thailand. We use a Grab car to get from the station to the hotel as Uber merged with Grab in this part of the world. After a short and sweet ride we check into another awesome Thai Hotel. The service and quality here is really top notch. We waste little time in getting out to explore the area including the famous...or perhaps infamous...Khao San Road. We dive head first into amazing food from both restaurants and street vendors and even sample some of the tourist specials like scorpion on a stick. No day in Bangkok is complete without at least one Thai Iced Coffee, and the more skilled and theatrical the pour the better! And of course we have to get some awesome Thai foot massages! After even more food, we go to the exciting Rajadamnern Stadium to watch some outstanding Muay Thai fights and we definitely get our moneys worth this time. Great fights on almost every card. Later, while strolling around MBK Center, an Italian lady notices my Oregon Ducks shirt and excitedly informs me her sister play Basketball for the University of Oregon Fighting Ducks! Small world and GO DUCKS! The folks head back to the states while we board another super amazing Emirates A380 enroute to our next adventure in Hong Kong!

Here we are in Surat Thani waiting for yet another overnight train to Bangkok.
We're just walking around by the train station and you notice those
are jackfruit. They grow right out of the bark of the tree. Yummy.
Made it back to Bangkok. Now we're just grabbing a grab. Grabbing a grab. Getting a grab over to
the hotel. We're gonna stay near Khao San Road this time. We haven't stayed over there before
so this will be interesting. Trip I slept well. We got checked into yet another amazing hotel
with fantastic service. I think this place has the best service yet and it's $41 a night.
We love food in dodgy alleys. All in the porn style. That's how you know it's gonna be good.
And deadly for the cholesterol. And all of a sudden somebody said let's all get foot massages.
It's just what you do. The small streets of Bangkok are called soys. That's where all the
exploring is to be done for snacks. Our cool hotel even has free tuk-tuk service.
This is a pretty snazzy tuk-tuk. It is. Despite them really cutting down on the street vendors
and not letting them open till 6, Khao San Road is still pretty happening. Not like it was but
it's still cool. Working for it. Starting out at a cool restaurant and then we'll start hitting
street food after this. Shrimp. Primarily salty. And crunchy. Crunchy and salty.
I'll just bite right into the body here. We're all sharing a scorpion. That is a lot of work.
Little. We are trying a new restaurant in Bangkok and just walking around and it looks so beautiful
It's like paint keeping great. Jing noodle. Fantastic food. Great prices.
Back at Rajadamnern Stadium for some more live Muay Thai action. How do you feel about people
getting kicked in the face? As long as it's not me. Yeah as long as it's not mine. What's your
experience with kicking people in the face? Um it's a lot of fun and scary.
We have green Fanta and orange Fanta. Orange Fanta tastes like orange.
Green Fanta tastes like... that's terrible. I don't know what it tastes like.
It's terrible. It's kind of like mouthwash.
And of course you gotta have popcorn for the fights.
We had a great time. Great fights this time. People out on stretchers. People bleeding.
Last day in Bangkok for now so we are of course getting our last minute shopping done and get you
know some last minute eating done. They're mainly shopping. We're mainly eating. I'm feeling much
better. We force her to eat that. Yum. For the University of Oregon. Go Ducks. Go Ducks,
yes. And I went in Oregon. To watch your sister play? Yeah. Awesome. What was your name? Eleonora.
Eleonora. Chris. Nice to meet you. Good to meet you. You know we couldn't resist checking out
the movie theater in Bangkok so we're going to see The Meg at MBK. This place is nice. It's like
five bucks for a ticket. I can already tell we're going to like this theater.
Folks are taking off back to the states. We are heading off to Hong Kong. Awesome trip.
That was so much fun. Thank you. Great. Shout out to you now that you know this.
Shout out to Rep Jackson. Wish you were here. Oh that's your second one.
All right peace. Now we'll get all sappy once we turn the camera off.
We're at the A380 place. Amazing. Metal silverware. I can't believe we survived.
Click the thumbs up and subscribe. Oh now that was good.
