Life on the Farm | Taking Down Halloween | Thomas' New Channel

It is November 1st and I don't know about you guys, but today we take down all the Halloween and we are ready for Christmas. As you can see, we already got Christmas movies going, but all of this will be coming down today. I don't know about you guys, but that's just how we roll in the Hughes house. We always like to decorate way, way in advance. I don't know if we're going to be putting up the tree today, but we are going to be taking the Halloween stuff down and all that fun stuff. So we're taking the kids to school right now. My hands are full, I have to turn this off. Then we're going to the gym. No one get lost today. Okay. Okay. You may go. Yeah. Thomas is making me do a circuit and I am dead. I've done one, one round. What do you call that? One round. So here we go. Two more. Ashley and I have been talking about this for a while. And I found out that 60% of our traffic on our YouTube channel comes from my fight documentary and my weight cut documentary. And then my other fight videos. And I'm like, wait a minute. If I've got 60% of people coming over here for that, I'm going to go over and create a different YouTube channel that's specifically for that. So I got one started and it's going to be anything from weight cutting to technique, to style, to how to diet properly. And the things that I've learned over my fight career that have helped me a lot, whether it's the weight cut side, which in my opinion is the hardest part, or it's the training side, like what trainings to do, how to get your high intensity cardio up to that par, like hit workouts and stuff like that that I run through. Rick Ross, since when did you turn into a vato? Okay, guys, here's the moment of truth. I've been waiting all season to take off these bats and see if there's any damages. Because when I try to put them up, I use every kind of tape you could imagine. Duct tape, masking tape, scotch tape, packing tape, nothing was holding. I would tape the bats up and they'd just fall right off. So I'm like, I'm going to just use a little dab of hot glue and we'll see. And they held up perfectly. So for a brick fireplace, it was pretty hard to get those suckers to stick on. Let's see if it worked. Okay, we're going to go with, yes. Oh my gosh, that just ripped right off. Okay. And there's no paint chips, nothing. Perfect. That is so easy. Oh my gosh, I'm so happy. Now I'm not all stressed. Oh, that's one way to take some stuff down. Now I'm not going to be all stressed out about, oh, there is a chunk right here though. I see. Okay. But that just came right off. Well, that is good to know. Cool. Okay. Halloween until next year. I'm always so sad to take it down, but at the same time, I am so dang excited to put up Christmas. So I think that these will last at least another year. Um, they didn't rip at all. So I'm going to save them in like a Ziploc, you know, like the gallon bags. And we'll see how those hold up just so I don't have to make them again next year. Now that Halloween is over. We busted out all the Christmas books, huh? We got all the Christmas ones right here. So we'll be reading from these every single night, huh? What did we read tonight? I love this one. You love that one? Cause it's pop-up. That one's a cool book. No, it says, oh, what fun. Okay. We just finished reading the Polar Express and they were asking questions like, why would someone not believe in Santa Claus? Because at the end of the book, which I'm sure all of you guys are familiar with, those who don't believe cannot hear Santa's bell, right? Yeah. So why do you believe in Santa Claus? Because you cannot buy that much toys that I will send 150,000 toys. You sent 150,000 toys. What do you mean by that is when, when they see a toy they want, they take a screenshot of it, right? And you sent, they send it to Santa Claus, right? I actually don't send a, I don't send a toy. I sent a picture. Yeah. A picture, right? So you sent 150,000. So that's why you believe in Santa Claus? You're right. I would never. Yeah. Cause she could hear this. She could hear the bell, huh? But it said the mom and dad did not, huh? No, I think just some people, but I believe in Santa. Have you guys ever seen Santa Claus? I did on your pictures. On our picture. What do you mean? You have pictures of Santa Claus. Where? You take a picture of Santa Claus and get it up here. Oh, in our, in our living room, huh? Is he, is he, he's telling me to be quiet cause I, I saw him, huh? But he said, if the boys see me, that's not good, huh? Only moms and dads.
