AUSTRALIA \\ BLUE MOUNTAINS, KATOOMBA & NEWCASTLE BEACHES // VLOG #56

Well we made it to beautiful Katoomba in the Blue Mountains. And of course, it's cloudy and pouring down rain. It may be a cute little mountain village. We'll see. How's it going guys? Royce Freeman with you. Second round. Way to go. Love it. Well we finally found a sunny day and we can now verify that there are actually beautiful mountains up here. Those are the famous Three Sisters. This place is absolutely beautiful even though it is overrun with tourists. Like us. Beautiful hike up here through the Blue Mountains. The Three Sisters is beautiful, but I'm very disappointed. There's no animals. No birds. No nothing. I think they might know winter's coming. Dang winter. It is absolutely beautiful, but it's got to have animals to top my list. And that's us done with Katoomba and the beautiful Blue Mountains. You may notice there is sun outside. Yay! Maybe. Train travel in New South Wales, which is where Sydney is, is really busy. Driving again. Kate's driving on the wrong side of the car. We are heading about three hours north of Sydney to Newcastle to visit a friend from Cairns. Scary. We are under the Sydney Harbour right now. I have to say it looks a lot better on top of the Sydney Harbour. That's my good friend John who we're staying with out here in the Newcastle area. And we are out at Barubi Beach. Port Stephens. Wow. Out at Port Stephens. What, near Nelson Bay? This is just further proof that any top ten in the world beach list that has anything but Australia on it is just so that people will read it. The average beach here is amazing. Look at that beautiful crystal clear water. Wow. Just another amazing beach in Australia. Now we're taking a little hike near Boat Harbour. The beauty of this area knows no bounds. Kind of like Kate. This is known as the Arch and we tell each other they love each other. What do you think John? Just listen to all these birds. The pelicans in Australia are a bit bigger than the ones we're used to in Mexico. Look at those guys. My God, they're enormous. This is Shell Bay. I think this is where we used to go spear fishing. They've got good fish all around here. It's beautiful. Out through that way. That's Little Broughton. Another ten case. Broughton Island. Some of the best fishing in the world. This is a beautiful area. I love all the animals. And you should see the pelicans. They're huge. As big as a person. They stand taller than me some of them. That's scary. But cool. There's a fishing lure right there. Right into your face. Continuing our journey around this part of Australia with John. We're out at the Anzac Walk in Newcastle in just more gorgeous Australia. Oh, suck it in mate. You're on camera. We're just watching hundreds of dolphins down here. The water is so clear you can see them all the way down. We're out here on the end of the pier at Knobby's Lighthead. Use of this facility may be hazardous. Please take care. There's all sorts of fun stuff around here. Including... Oh yeah. Great whites. Want to go for a swim? No. We ordered iced coffee and this is what we got. It's got ice cream in it. This is John's gorgeous little home. The trees are always filled with birds. John has two rooms for rent in here. He also does private customized tours. It's just a gorgeous setting. This is the view for breakfast every morning. It's got a small pool. John is just amazing. We are on our first trip on a 787 Dreamliner. Yeah. It's pretty cool. It's amazing. Do you know where we're going? Oh my, I just haven't decided yet.
