12 of 14 prior to this current winning streak They look like they've got the pieces back together still a few more injuries to recover from but they're playing much better away we go suns Control the opening tip in their turquoise city edition uniforms And And that's how we get started tonight coach clear advantage for phoenix has dodged it backs his way in You can hear those boos As hardaway knocks at three in And knock the top seeded suns out of the playoffs a year ago Bullet pass pow left wide open the suns break down defensively worst defensive teams In the league and if things are going to change for the mavericks, it's going to change at this end of the floor Looks like he's hurt Clutching at that left this game. Let's get back to chris's report on devon booker though coach and Doesn't carry quite the load luca donchage does nobody does But he is integrals that one goes and a foul cameron johnson Five games ago feels like they're ready to contend if healthy as powell gets the lob for the mavericks No matter where he's been he has handled it very very well chris paul shakes Chris paul at his best Again, paul working with the umbo. He'll take it himself and he'll knock it down And chris paul in the double figures in this first quarter total in the last two games after going on a four game stretch where he shot Well, you really see the size differential be humble a second go-to guy Paul loses the handle turns it over creed and he blows right by crack to lay it in. Wow explosive to the basket We're looking for more of a football type foul there ish Is I think what coach is saying? Here's did witty in rhythm steps into a three and suddenly the mavericks within two Tavis bertans will never hesitate on a three quick release and that's his role. They want him coming in shoot That three's good boy. That is one beautiful. You have very little margin for error And certainly cannot afford to be given the ball away unfortunately Wainwright with a rebound here come the suns Washington turns the corner And he scores on millikina nice finish there. If you're just joining us luka donchich Just three minutes and 20 seconds into this game Rolled his left ankle chris haynes just reported a moment ago that he will not return x-rays negative But the all-star starter not coming back Well, I thought the mavericks did a great job of holding their own with dinwiddie on the bench Then when he leaves it Nice fine and a rim run by dwight powell Cameron johnson to go to the basket Instead he settled for the three And lays it in mavericks had to their lead wainwright nice strip down on powell That's more like it from the tight end Here's wainwright Comes up short again johnson there with the offensive rebound 214 left here is dinwiddie the three good spencer dinwiddie Continuing to stack them up coach dinwiddie with five assists tonight as well. No turnovers On the drive floater is good for dinwiddie. He's enjoying having the ball in his hands as much Denny smith now dinwiddie Two to go nice pass pow gets it up in time And again, the mavericks capitalize At the end of a court outscored him 22 16 very low scoring Second quarter a lot of missed shots pretty ragged play for both Dinwiddie picks up right where he left off. He hits a three They've won four in a row now. They're trying to make it a clean sweep of this current five-game homestand Chris paul for three they left him wide open He could almost see it and all those jump hooks that are coming up short. Oh josh green cupped it He was there for the follow, but he missed it Rhythm is off for deandre eaton and fenny smith answers on the other end three ball is good That there are a lot of buyers, but not a whole lot of sellers out there So that makes it real difficult to get a real valuable trade going on But they're trying to do something to dallas mavericks to give lucas some help dodging just thriving Quickly thriving in the nba and it is has eighteen little turnaround jumper. He needed to see one go through at eight and Shot clock to five eight and draws a double. Here's paul now And paul lets a three go and he buries it They're two big offensive weapons are out don chich Love this game earlier dinwiddie Little floater is good and I like dinwiddie's decision there Bridges with fenny smith on him Bridges can't find the space. Oh, he's bounced Damien lee drives lee with dinwiddie on his back. He finds bridges hot head Then what he's had a great night adding to it. He does Spencer dinwiddie seeing nothing but the bottom right now. See how they go here. That's a steal by lee The mavericks give it away Bridges three-pointer. It's good Bertons and paul goes right by him and you can see that coming Dallas about get the last shot of the court six seconds to go Dinwiddie long three tough shot. Oh, he's feeling it spencer dinwiddie Mavericks deciding not to bring him back tonight. Oh what a pass and bullock finishes. How about that? Josh green? Milikina a lot of dribbling looking for someone bullock lets it fly and he hits it johnson hit the deck Landed on him. Here is fenny smith Changed the floor hardaway jr. Hits a three what dallas he's down on the floor doubled over If your bridges will pull it and bridges will hit it Bridges and eight converge on dinwiddie Dinwiddie probing to the corner green. Yes, sir gosh green Shot clock to five dinwiddie trying to get hardaway on the mood. Now. He turns the corner step back three over eight Okay, spencer going off the window desperately down nine johnson's Three and jason kidd Will take his use it or lose it time out right through the arms of paul sun's with a chance here bridge his little sidestep He finishes at the rim Needing to convert what a game tonight. What a double header on tnt tonight paul spring Open for phoenix on the drive. Paul is loose a loose ball foul on aiden Is the call now? Knocks down the first and could make it a two possession game made or missed monty williams will use the last sun's time out free throws Paul will put it in Sun's down four two possession game looking for johnson. He's going to try to get one up quick paul We'll get one up and that's no good and there is bullock and the dallas mavericks Are gonna put this one away minus donchage No
