Resort hopping for a Bison burger and Mickey beignets | Universal City Walk @returnofthepokemaster

Good morning, everybody. It's an exciting day today. Return of the poke master is coming to hang out with me for a couple of days. We've been planning this for like, I don't know, two years finally happening. I'm at the airport now about to go inside and pick him up. Now I do have a bunch of plans and things we're going to do today and tomorrow. Uh, he just messaged me saying he's just getting off the plane right now. So should see him about 10, 15 minutes. It's been a while since I've been in the airport. Kind of like miss flying now. We should fly somewhere very soon. I want, I want to go somewhere. Well, I found him. So how was your flight? Good, long. Oh, I felt long cause I couldn't sleep. Oh, well hour and 20 minutes or so. Did you get a window? I did. I saw Charleston from the window. That was quite nice. Super cool. Um, so we're going to head over to whispering Canyon. All right. I think that's the name of the place. Uh, get some food. Then we'll sit down, have a conversation. We'll get to know the return of the poker master. Long time supporter, friend. Yes. Long time. Long time. Back before this was a thing. Well, kind of a thing. It was a small thing. We're learning the thing. We're still learning. It's still the first day, right? Every day is my first day back at the world. That was quick. Very quick. There was no trust. Yeah. No traffic today. I usually, there's a lot of traffic when I get here. How many times we get hit? No, there's a lot of birds out here. Yes. A lot of birds. Never that many birds. Um, so we're going to go over to, like I said, whispering Canyon. I just looked at the price. The bison burger is $21. It's a little more spendy than I thought it was. So we're going to get it, but not happy about it. No, but it'll be worth it, right? It is actually really good. It's actually my favorite one. Have you had it yet? Yeah, I've had it before. Oh, that's why I want to go get it. Yeah. And then, um, we're going to do some park or not park hopping, um, resort hopping. So we're going to take the tram up to TTC. We're going to take the boat over and we're going to get on the friendship boat over to whispering Canyon. Then we're going to take the bus somewhere. I don't know. I'll have, I have an idea in my head. We just have to figure it. I don't know where we're going. I'm just following this guy. It's my first day. The Admiral Joe Fowler. That's felt like days since I've ridden the boat. So the plan today is we're going to take every form of Disney transportation except the Skyliner. Fortunately, it had to be down the one time you're here. Yep. That's my favorite one too. Okay. I don't know how often you come here. I come here too much. Two years. Okay. The temperature is perfect out right now. So it's like what? 67 or something like that. Yeah, definitely the sixties. Yeah. Leave my jacket. I'm going to show you right now. I'm in my shorts. Don't worry everybody. And my favorite shirt. I'm just here for the ridey back. Yeah. It's my new shirt. It's good. I like it. Shelly loves the color. Could be available on a certain website. I don't know. Find it there. Yeah. Oh man. There's a lot of earthquakes in Japan. If you guys ever been a part of the channel as long as he has, uh, you know that there's a tree that moves in my apartment a lot, almost every other day. Let me know there's an earthquake happening. So earthquake tree. Oh no, it's the same one. Okay. We had a different pattern before. Yeah. Okay. We actually changed that logo there. And here we are at the magic kingdom. So he's going to do a card pack opening because Pokemon related and uh, yeah, we're just going to catch the resort launches in just the minute head on our way on over to whisper can't hope we can get a spot or reservation. I didn't really plan on one. We're just kind of winging it. If we can't, we'll figure something out. And there's our boat coming in right now. Yeah, we see you check that out. Everybody. The ferry is heading the same direction as us and off towards the contemporary. We have arrived good cause I'm hungry. I'm actually pretty excited to be here cause in November we're doing Thanksgiving here. We've got two nights, the day before Thanksgiving into Thanksgiving. We're going to do Thanksgiving Turkey and everything in the room. Yeah. Oh yeah. We're doing it all in the room. And the kids are really excited for the splash pad. I just want to watch the guys are erupt right there, but this is our restaurants right over there. But cool splash pad and amazing backdrop. I like this place. I'm glad this is one of my home resorts. Yeah. I mean, I mean that's just, what do you think? Yeah. Yes. Yeah. Like he's only been in Orlando for less than two hours. All right. So we're going to go over the menu now and I already know I'll be in the bison burger, but we're just going to look at it over anyways. Just in case you're interested. Here we go. There's some salmon. These are on light fare. Teriyaki chicken wings. I mean I'm going to get the bison burger, but that sounds good. Shrimp on a wire. Yeah. Now here's the bison burger. It comes with bacon, sweet, crispy onions. I obviously you guys know I can't eat onions. I take that off my own berry sauce, lettuce, tomato, and garlic, aioli steak sandwich, fried chicken. There's a lot of good items on here, I think. And then Oh, kids menu. That's where I'm living at. Mainly cause you know, like bison burgers, $21 and here it is. The bison or with the black or what was it? Blackberry. Yeah. Oh yeah. And garlic aioli. Ooh, that's good. These are the chips, huh? Your burgers full. Like I obviously had a lot removed, but yeah, you got everything. All right. Well we're going to get into this and I'll let you know how it is. Well, I greatly love the barbecue sauce. Blackberry barbecue sauce. So good. Um, yeah, it's such a weird, I don't know how to explain it. I'm not good with food. You do food. I'm okay. I'm okay. Okay. You're okay. Everybody knows I'm just like, it's good pizza. Um, yeah, overall I, I'd still love it there. Um, the barbecue bison burger is still amazing. This view though, steals the show. Yes it does. That sun feels actually really good right now. It's so much better. It's a little chilly out. I almost fell asleep. They have like a nice like soothing music in the background and everything. So we're just over there just like, yeah, Mondays, Tuesday. Yeah, it's Tuesday. Yeah. That feels like Monday. It's still a day with a Y in it. Um, over there, Bay Lake tower. Oh, it looks like the boat's leaving. So we're going to take the bus over to the bus. All right. And magic kingdom. We'll take the bus over and then we'll jump on another bus cause we got somewhere else to go now. All right. To the next stop. We're doing a little DVC tour right now. Um, this is the one bedroom. Uh, we had some nice, what do you think? This is just the living room area. So we're getting an idea because we do have Thanksgiving here. I love the colors. Yes. I like that up there. I like the steel beam. Look. Yeah. Original. Wow. And then this is a perfect table size for all the food. Now this is the, um, studio room, which we won't have during our stay, but what do you got out there? That's nice. This is so cool. Like look at this tub. Standalone tub. Giant. What do you think? The restaurant. Yeah. Yeah. And I mean, this is a massive, Oh my gosh. Rainfall shower. H2O products. Love H2O products. And of course the final, Oh, check out the painting. Wow. Whoa. And the headboard, look at the headboard. Oh my God. I'm so excited about staying here. I've known it. Yes. They're going to take us over and go look at a cabin right now. Shelly's going to be so jealous. Whoa. I guess we go, right? We just start. Hi. Oh my gosh. It is so pretty. Look at the, that is such a huge range fall shower. Well, I've never seen the, uh, mouthwash. Is this, is this the new, uh, soaps that that's replacing the replacement soaps. Master room. It's huge. It's bigger than like my living room in my place. Now. This is so, Whoa, dude. Have you seen this? Look at that. This, this standup shower is bigger than my bathroom. I love this place. I am so excited to stay here. Yeah. So that's the new soaps right there. Okay. What's in this other guest room? Oh, with the pullout bed. Oh, window seating. It's like my wife's favorite thing is to sit in a window and read a book. So there's, Oh man, look at that fireplace. Well, I knew we should have picked this for Thanksgiving. Look at this table. And then Island huge fridge. Wow. That's a huge fridge. Do you see the size of that? I'm not even as tall as the fridge. What do you think? We should, we buy it in a hot tub. Oh, I totally forgot about the hot tub. Awesome cast member taking us around and showing us everything. What'd you think? It was amazing. Yeah. Like that. The cabin left me in. Yeah. I was just like, Oh my gosh, this is one of my homers. This is this one and Alani are my two home resorts for DVC. And I love this one. This is so, I can't not wait. I don't know. Words are hard. That's yeah, there we go. All right. We're going to get on the bus, go back to magic kingdom, back at the magic kingdom. Um, our, the castle Cinderella's castle. I just looked over the French quarter buses already here. So I think we might miss it. Maybe, maybe we have a couple of minutes, but if, if so, it's okay. We'll just wait for the next one. Oh, Monorail. All right, let's go try to catch this bus. Just missed the bus. Yes. We didn't get to see it drive away. Yeah, that's okay. Should be another one in like 15, 12 to 15 minutes. So not too long. My bad. Uh, I don't know. It's pretty nice day. Like it's not even one o'clock yet. We've done so much. We rode the boat. We rode the friendship boat. We rode the bus. We did some tours, ate some food and it's not even one o'clock yet. Yeah. Beautiful day. So you have your own channel. What exactly do you do? Um, so explain it better than I do. I just say you do Pokemon related things and you open cards and then you'd, yeah, pretty much. So I'm a short channel, open up packs about every day, six times a week so far. Keeps me busy. But my main channel, I like to open up a mystery boxes from Japan from a lot of other YouTube friends. Not just Ron. Yeah. I sent him a package too. You guys should check out that video. It's good. It's a good video. And me and my niece did a video of Japanese snacks. Oh yeah. Okay. And we opened up, actually tasted one of the snacks from Ron. Oh yeah, that's right. Oh, I didn't see that one. Oh, okay. I was like, wait, I didn't see that one. I've seen all, most of the videos you've done. So yeah, I was like, wait a minute. Did I miss something? No, not yet. Not yet. All right. Well, um, check in down description below. It was a little stressful, maybe a little less stressful. All right. I bought six of them. So that way I can take, we can both have one and then we're going to take the rest of them home to the wife and the kids. 10 99. But if you buy three at seven 49, spend the extra three 50, get yourself six vignettes. And then we got caramel because the chocolate ganache, it's a little, a little too much, but are you excited for this one? Yes. You've been excited all day for it. Keep talking about it. They are very famous. Very famous. Oh, I'll go get them. After just burning my fingers really badly. Uh, here we go. Mickey beignet dipping sauce. Let's get into it. I'm stuffed now. The Mickey beignet. So filling. Yes. Yes. And we just ate, it felt like maybe a couple of hours ago, right? A little over an hour and a half ago. Yeah. Yeah. I don't know. I'm, I felt like eating one beignet was like, we have like four more in here. It's for the wife. You got it. You got to spoil the wife, right? Just a little bit. Not too much though. You don't want to get, we're just kind of walking around the property cause I'd love the way this everything here is all set up. It looks super cool. I love, I want to stay here. I do too. And Ashley would love this. New Orleans. Yes. Yeah. Gotcha. It's all right. When does that hang out? We're going to do a little walk around. He might even do another one right here or something like that. Yeah. Okay. And then he's going to do his video thing. Then we're going to head over to Epcot and we're going to get on the monorail and ride it back to TTC and then we're going to get in the car to home. We got a lot more still today. We got more things we're doing today. It's only half the day. You're really tired though. Yes, we're down. You can take a nap when we get home for a little while. That is not going to happen. I'm not going to wake up. All right. Sounds good. All right. He's in his element right now. Let's see him. Look at that skill level in the mouth wide. There you go everybody. We got to see return in action. Yes. We didn't pull anything good, but I don't know what's good or not. I thought all of them look really good. So obviously I don't know what's going on. We're just going to check out the pool area real quick and then we're going to get on the bus, head over to Epcot. Was inside the shop here talking to a cast member about all the different challenges I have done in the last couple of months. He said he wanted to try a couple of them, so I'm pretty excited about that. He's just, you rode the train for nine hours straight, like continuously for nine hours. Yeah. It's all online. You guys can all watch it. All right. I'm still very full from the beignet. Yes. All right. To Epcot. And it says the bus should be here in about five minutes. A few moments later, back to Epcot. And the reason I said back to Epcot is I've been here the last three days for you. Yeah, for me. I live at Disney world. Yes. At least for the past two months. Yeah. So the monorail just left, which is good because that means our next one will be here in about 12 to 15 minutes. All right. Or less than that. Probably. So we got to go back through security to ride the monorail back to TTC. You wanted to ride the monorail? Yeah. We've done buses, boats, now monorail, and unfortunately no Skyliner. Then next time. Yeah. You have to come back next week. Okay. Okay. Just made it. Just made it and you got to open some cards in front of spaceship earth. Yeah. We, we kind of rushed that one. A little bit. I lost the key cards. Some kids are going to find them. They're going to lose their mind. We're going to head over back to the transportation center. I gotta go pick up my son now. Just got off the monorail. What'd you think of monorail? The best parts. It's still my favorite. It's still your favorite? The Skyliner. Okay. But it's all right. So we're going to get on the tram and then we got to get home to pick up my son. So we'll see you guys at the house. And like, like right now. All right. I'm just here for the ride evac and uh, we got a box of shirts available. We got our vinyl, we got a TV up here. So we watch TV, got Darth Vader and Obi Wan. And we got Allie. Hi Allie. How are you doing? You sitting on my bed? Oh, it's brother's bed. I'll sleep on the couch. Um, but yeah, I got all these little things from Japan and uh, we're probably gonna take down the fortnight banner here. Do some more. Uh, get it more ready. We got a printer. It's downstairs. Parks have been closed for over an hour now. Universal did close at 8 PM. It's now nine 15 I think. So I'm going to walk around, show him around. I've been meaning to talk to you about your car's extended warranty. That's pretty cool. How much is this thing? 30 bucks. 30, but like it's solid. You're not breaking that. Look at the inside construction of it. Yeah, it's reinforced. It'd be great for car's extended warranty commercials. We are successful. We didn't buy anything. There was a lot of tempting, maybe the mask, maybe a car's extended warranty. I don't know. Voodoo donut here. I'm gonna take them aside. Show them what they have available. Maybe not. There's a line where that's the line to get in. Yeah. But, um, you can always pick up donuts here. Mobile order. Yeah. All those donuts you see on the chair, those are donuts available. Yeah. Oh no. Kind of chilling. We already had one sweet thing today. I'm right here. The Mickey vignette. Yep. Shelly had the Mickey vignette. She was super excited and then she had them when they were cold. We like them more when they're cold. I think it's because they're more dense when they're cold or not, nor dense by light. I don't know. I don't know. Food. That's us. We're just going to stick with that.
