and meaningful, achievable, realistic, and timely. Every kidney patient is different,

always follow a smart diet.
Now, in today's video, I'm going to share to you the top 20 best kidney food. I've said it before
that I read a lot of comments about issues on what to eat due to CKD. So this video is to help
those who have the same issues, because I know that sometimes it could be challenging to prepare
healthy and kidney-friendly meals. So I hope that this video is going to help you. So get your pen
and paper, so that you can write down the top 20 best kidney food, so that on your next trip to the
grocery store, you already have an idea on what to buy. And you know, and you actually have a peace
of mind, that what you will be eating are foods that are going to be helpful for your kidneys,
and not feel guilty or worried about it. With that being said, it's important to remember that
with CKD, a smart diet plays a big role in maintaining a stable kidney function. What
matters most is what we eat. So these top 20 best kidney food that I always stock up in my refrigerator
are fresh produce that are low in potassium, phosphorus, and sodium. And by now, I guess we
already know that these are the minerals that are difficult for the kidneys to filter, and should be
managed through proper diet. So with these top 20 best kidney food, I'm also going to share to you
the amount of potassium, phosphorus, and sodium in every measurement. For example, how much
phosphorus, potassium, and sodium is there in every ounce of meat or chicken, or how much of these
minerals are in a cup of blueberries or grapes, if you're going to eat these fruits. So if you want to
maintain a low phosphorus, potassium, and sodium in your renal function panel, these are the perfect
kidney food that you may need to stock up in your refrigerator. So I'm going to kick it off with
this basket of fresh produce. Make sure to watch till the end of the video because I'm also going
to share to you very simple recipes that you can do using all these fresh ingredients. When it comes
to cooking, I think about fashion. I mix and match, and there are so many simple recipes
supermarket, you can actually substitute it with other light green vegetables. So I also buy
a head of lettuce, or you can also make use of this kind of lettuce. It's great for making any
salad. So anything that is light green is great for the kidneys. Now here's a simple tip when buying
cauliflower. Because I buy the whole head of cauliflower and I can't eat it all at once, what I
do is I cut it up in small bites and put it in a small container, and I actually save it in the
freezer. For every time I make a dish using cauliflower, I just take it out and I sometimes
just saute it, I steam it, or sometimes I make coleslaw. Okay, so that's just one recipe that
you can do. You can steam, you can grill, you can fry, you can saute. There are so many other ways
that you can do to make some cauliflower dish. For the next simple recipe that I'm going to share,
when it comes to red bell pepper, I actually just saute it and mix it with some onion. So you can
pair them, you can saute, again you can mix this with maybe some rice noodles or pasta.
We all have different tastes, so it's all up to you, however you want to make it. But definitely
red bell pepper and onion can go together, just saute it and add some chicken, or you can pair
it with some fish. You can actually make an omelette with red bell pepper. So there are so
many other simple recipes. Okay, now for the lettuce. Well lettuce, I always use this too.
I make salad, I usually use it for when I make wrap, like chicken wrap or fish wrap,
and so many other whole bunch of recipes. Okay, cabbage. For my cabbage, I love making some rice
noodles with cabbage. I saute it. Most of the time I use cabbage to make soup. If I make some pork or
beef soup, I use cabbage. You can also make coleslaw. Another way that you can make a coleslaw
is by using cabbage. So again, you can make a soup and put some cabbage in your soup.
So that's our video for today. I hope this one helps. And if you like, give me a thumbs up and
