Tucked away in the charming London suburb of Marylebone is a boutique leading the way in the city's natural beauty movement. Content Beauty opened in 2008, specializing in organic and natural makeup, skincare, and wellbeing brands. The actress and English Rose, Emma Watson, sang Content Beauty's praises in an Into the Gloss interview back in 2016, saying she used to go back every week to try something new. She credits Content's founder, Imelda Burke, for informing and shaping her love of clean beauty. Certainly plenty to play with, have a browse. You'll find firm favorites including Ilia, RMS, Keir Weiss, and Tata Harper, and emerging stars like Josh Rosebrook, Airey Perez, and Manassi Seven. I'd visited Content several times, but when I came back to capture it, they'd moved to a new location with far more space and room to extend their range to include ethical and sustainable clothing and accessories. With makeup lessons, massages, and facials on their treatment menu, I'll be sure to keep coming back to Content just like Emma did.
