HERMES LUXURY UNBOXING HAUL: SHOPPING WITH DAD | JAIME XIE

Welcome to a new video and I hope you guys are all doing well. As you can tell, this is going to be an Hermes unboxing haul because I just got back from shopping in San Francisco with my dad, which is a very rare thing because my dad does not like to shop at all. My mom actually doesn't like to shop either. And honestly, I haven't been to the Hermes store since last year because lockdown happened and before that I was at Fashion Week, so it's been quite some time. The last time I went shopping with dad was a year and a half ago when we were in Florence and Venice. But today my mom was busy and my dad had the afternoon free so he decided to come with me to Hermes to check out some of the men's things and we picked out quite a few pieces. So I want to show you guys what they are. There's a mix of men's and women's and also a little cute mini Kelly and my salesperson texted me last week saying that he got something special in for me and it was the mini Kelly. So of course I had to go stop by and he also said some of the pieces that we ordered from the fashion show came. So that's why I made the appointment to go today and I will now show you guys what I got. Excuse my appearance because whenever I go shopping, I don't put on any makeup. I'm very casual and I kind of just threw on this Dior dress because earlier I was wearing sweatpants because that's how I go shopping. So I put this on so I look a little bit more presentable for the video. But let's get started with the unboxing and we'll start with this little one first. This first one is actually my mini Kelly. I don't even know what's in these orange boxes exactly because I didn't see when they were wrapping it up and they all look identical. But it turns out it is the little mini Kelly and I got this yellow color. It's ostrich and it's just so special. I'm honestly not sure the name of this color but it's a light yellow ostrich with silver hardware and it's the mini size. I don't know if you guys noticed but I kind of only carry mini bags and I have a lot of 25 and 30 Birkins. The biggest Birkin I have is 30 but I still don't use them. So they're just sitting in their dust bags. That's why the only one that I use is like the mini Kelly. So I told him I only want tiny mini bags since I don't really tend to use the others. So when he got this one in, I just love the color and I prefer like brighter, richer colors when it comes to Hermes. So this yellow was perfect for me. I don't have any yellow bags. The thing I love about ostrich skin is that it has the little polka dots that's on it but I do know that that's what happens when the feathers are plucked out of the ostrich. That's what creates the polka dots which is really sad when you think about it. So that's the only thing but I do love this bag and the color is beautiful. I don't know the name of it again like I said but it's kind of like a banana yellow. Actually while I was putting the bag away, this little tag fell out and it has the color name on it. It's called John Citron. J-A-U-N-E-C-I-T-R-O-N. So that's the name of the color if you guys are curious. Next we have these sneakers and my dad actually got these in his size as well so we will be twinning. I don't have any matching or twinning looks with him but I do with my mom. So now we have matching Hermes sneakers. They had to order his size because my dad is very tall. He's like 6'5", 6'6", and his feet size is like 13 or 14 so usually they don't have his shoe size in the store and they have to order it. But anyways, this shoe is like a navy blue and it has an orange H and the bottom is quite cool also. The H comes around to the front of the inside as well. And this came in like a black and white color combo and also a light gray and white. But I love the blue with the pop of orange and I'm kind of into sneakers like I mentioned in another video because they're just so comfortable and easy to wear. And this style is actually new because I've never seen an Hermes and my salesperson said they got it in just like a few weeks ago. So I'm glad they had these and I think it's like a nice sneaker to have. This next piece is a sweater that I ordered from the fashion show back in February. And the cool thing about this sweater is it was actually never made for any US stores. So I'm the only person that has it in the US unless someone else also ordered it from the fashion show. But otherwise I think maybe only Europe stores got it, I'm not really sure. But that's what my salesperson told me today when I went to go pick it up. Because I asked him, I was like, do I need another size, like I don't know what size I am. And he's like, unfortunately you're the only one that has it because no one else in the US got it because it was never made for US. So hopefully it fits. It's a 34 and it looks like it would fit me so we're all good. But I love the color combo and it went with the theme of the show because the show earlier this year had all these colorful poles. It has like a red body and then this sleeve is yellow, this sleeve is blue, there's like a white trim on the bottom. And then the collar up here is black with a white trim. And the back is green. The cool thing about this piece is actually there is a slot up here you can stick my finger through because they had like a choker that's like the kelly buckle that you can put through it or you can put other necklaces which I thought was such a cool and interesting design. That choker he said is coming, it hasn't arrived yet and it's sold separately. So obviously I'm going to get it when it comes because I need it to stick through here. But I think I can also put like other necklaces or things through this little slot. But I thought it was such a cool idea for turtlenecks. So this is like a nice casual piece for fall and I love the colors. I mean I'm someone that likes to wear colors even though I am wearing black today. So the rest of these pieces are all men's because those are all the women's pieces that I got and the rest are my dad's. And my dad ended up purchasing a faux look that one of the mannequins that Hermes was wearing and it's kind of funny. I'll insert the picture here because he was literally twinning with a mannequin. I have the jacket, the shirt, and another pair of shoes that he got. But the shoes that the mannequin was wearing and the pants are ordered because they didn't have his size. So this is the shirt and it's like a short sleeve sweatshirt and it has this like little pocket on the bottom. The material is like cottony and the cool thing about this is there's like this nylon thing at the bottom with these zipper pockets. So you can unzip it and it's like a sweatshirt and I think it's nice how you can hold stuff in here. And then there's also a little drawstring at the bottom if you want to make it tighter. And it's short sleeve so you can wear it in the summer or in the winter because it's kind of a nice thick material as well. The next men's piece are these shoes and they're so cool because it's crocodile and they actually look really nice on his feet. My dad has wide feet like me. I'm pretty sure I got the wide feet jean from him which I wish I didn't because they don't look so good in some sandals and heels but it's okay. These shoes actually make his feet look very slim and he doesn't have any crocodile shoes so this is his first pair of croc shoes so why not go for Hermes because they do the best leather and exotics. So this is like a black crocodile and it has this silver buckle across the front. And my dad is a size 46 in shoes which is a really big size. I'm like a 38 so this is like huge. I thought they were very nice lopers and I'm sure he'll get some nice wear out of these. I just told him not to wear it when it's raining because that will probably ruin the crocodile. And we have one last piece of clothing. This jacket and it's a beautiful bomber jacket. My dad has a lot of suits so I told him he should get something a bit more casual and a bomber is pretty casual. He tends to like the fit of them because he's very tall and has like broader shoulders so bombers tend to fit pretty well. And Hermes had his size in this one. So it's like black and has these leather patches. I love the leather details on it because in my opinion Hermes stuff always is better with a touch of leather just because that's what they're best known for. I mean they make the softest and most amazing leather and exotics. So the brown leather patches really make this jacket and it kind of forms like an H diagonally There's like zipper pockets on the side and this black part is kind of like a wool cashmere blend I think. I'm not really sure. And the back looks like this. And because it's black and brown I'm sure he will get good wear out of it because it's like easy to match. Although the thing is my dad doesn't really wear any of these things. Like I stole his Gucci blazer that we bought when we were shopping in Florence, Venice. And his Dior bomber. So I don't know. This might end up on me. My dad always just ends up wearing his 40 net sweatshirts, t-shirts, polos and things like that. He doesn't even like wear this kind of stuff. Although I'm always urging him to because now he has some pieces. So I'm like just throw this on over your 40 net t-shirt or something. I don't know. So hopefully he will wear this. I mean it's such a nice piece and it's a shame if he doesn't because his size is so big. So if I wear it, it's like super super oversized which is fine but it still looks better on him. So this is the last piece. And before we end this video, my Hermes salesperson also gave us some little gifts. So let's see what's inside. It looks like some champagne and maybe chocolates. This one is definitely some champagne. I don't drink so this will be for my father and my mom. And there is also some other little things in here. There's this little brown box. I'm curious to see what's inside. I'm guessing it's chocolate. Oh my gosh you guys. These are so cute. It's like little Hermes chocolates and it looks like there's four different flavors. Let's see on here what it says the flavors are. So one of them is milk flavor. The other one is a fruity cacao. And then there's a harmonious cacao and a rich cacao with coffee and tobacco. Sounds pretty good. I'm pretty sure it's not vegan but it's okay. I'll definitely have to try one later. And we also have this little make it yourself saddle. I'm not really sure what it is. It says La Salle which looks like it means saddle in French. And there's kind of this little instructions on how to make a saddle. It comes with this like string and then there's like this purple thing that's supposed to be like the base of the saddle. So I will have to play with this later. Sounds interesting. And we have this little pouch which has some lipstick samples. I do have some of their lipsticks but I guess these are some new colors. So it's like an orange and a dark burgundy. This one is called Rogue H and the number is 85 Satine. It's like a very dark wine colored burgundy. And then we have a orange. This is like a very very rich orange. Kind of like their bag color. It's called Orange Boych and the number is 35 Matte. So I'll have to give these a try. And there's just one more thing and this looks like it's a perfume sample. I'm not sure what the scent is but let's see and open it. We have two in here and they're both the same scent. This one is Cidre Sambac. Excuse my pronunciation. I clearly do not know how to speak French and my accent is horrible. But this is the name and I think it's like a cedar smell. So that's what these are. And that is it for the unboxing. I hope you guys enjoyed seeing what I got from Hermes today when I went shopping with my father. I know it's a little bit different than usual because I included some men's pieces. And I think this is the first time that I've ever included men's things in my videos because usually it's just showing you pieces that I get for myself. But it was a special occasion because my dad came with me to shop. So I decided to include the things that I found for him as well.
