$50K DESIGNER FASHION HAUL: PRADA, BALMAIN, BALENCIAGA, JACQUEMUS, MONCLER, THE ATTICO | JAIME XIE

Welcome back to a new video and I hope you guys are all doing well. I know it's been quite some time since I last did a video for YouTube and that's because the launch of Bling Empire and it finally came out on January 15th so if you guys haven't seen it yet and you have some free time and want something entertaining to watch you can go check it out and I was not at home for quite some time and there was a lot going on with the launch of the show so finally I got some time off and now things have calmed down. I'm back home and I have a lot of packages waiting for me so I thought what better way to get back into YouTube than with an unboxing because those seem to be your guys's favorite kind of videos. We are starting off with a pair of shoes from the Attico. So I saw these sandals and this type of sandal is like my favorite silhouette. I love mule type sandals because it's just so easy to put on and off and I feel like it elongates your leg. The color is so cool. It's like an iridescent shiny blue so it has like that mirror effect and I really love iridescent things as well like anything that kind of has like a cool fabric or cool materials that reflect I love and yeah these shoes I thought will be so cool for the summer, the winter and just to go with a lot of my like iridescent and like more funky or colorful outfits. So next we have a package from Dion Lee which is one of my favorite brands and definitely like my favorite Australian designer at the moment and I just really love Dion Lee's latest collections with like the corset pieces and just all of his like silhouettes and everything have been very much my style. I love how he did like the cinched waist, the chains, cutouts and this is a dress that I came across. It actually comes in three colors and I chose this gray one. It's gonna be a little bit difficult to show you guys just because it's something I would definitely need to put on in order for you guys to see how it looks. It has this like ribbed knit design and a very big chunky chain. The chain is like currently wrapped in this um paper thing but it's like a silver chain and the back is all open. It's like a long dress and it looks really nice on the photo online so I'm hoping it will look just as nice on me. So this package is from MyTeresa and I just got this little Jacquemus kind of knit bra crop top. This one also comes in black but I wanted a off-white ivory color because I have a few other Jacquemus pieces that are this color and I thought it would go nicely together. This is definitely more of a summer piece or you could wear it in the winter if you want to layer a blazer or something over it. You can even wear it over a shirt or a turtleneck I think would be interesting. I don't know, we'll have to see but it's like a twisted knit crop top slash bra top thing and it has these little short sleeves and I don't know how you describe it. This strap that goes that forms kind of like a v halter neck across the top. Again this is like one of the pieces that I need to try on because it's a little bit difficult to see but I just have it held up so we will give this a try later as well. So this next one is obviously also from MyTeresa and they were separate orders that's why I got shipped separately but we have some shoes in here as well as another Jacquemus piece because Jacquemus is also one of my favorite designers at the moment. First we have this little knit crop top. It's kind of similar to the other one. I mean I personally really love crop tops. Whenever I find a cool crop top I have to get it because I just love crop tops worn with high-waisted pants or trousers or something because I think it makes your legs look really nice and long and yeah this was like an interesting little knit top and it's like short sleeves which I thought was kind of cute and again like the other one you can layer it. This one is a little bit thicker so I feel like you could wear it in like a California winter because we never truly get winter here in California. The coldest it gets is probably like 50 Fahrenheit but most of the time it stays around like 50s to 60s or even the 70s which is really nice and we're super lucky for that. And for the shoes I have two pairs of Balenciaga pumps. These shoes are both my favorite style. If you're familiar with maybe I think I've shown on my Instagram stories before but I have so many of these Balenciaga pumps because it's like my favorite silhouette and when I find a silhouette that I love I just tend to buy it in all the colors because I just love shoes in general and so this is called the knife pump and I got this red patent one. The thing I really loved about the Balenciaga knife pump is how it has like a super pointed toe and the heel is kind of like edgy. Actually most of the heels have more of a square back but this red one they did it more like a thin heel. So this black pair that I have here I'll show you guys what I mean but I have this shoe in red, black and then I have two pairs of white because one of them I wore so much that it got really dirty and I have the neon green, the neon pink, the silver glitter and the purple glitter and I can't remember if there's any other colors but I love this silhouette and I think it's so sexy, so comfortable and just a really nice pump. And this is the black one. So as I was saying the difference between the black and the red is the back heel part. This one is like a square and it's actually the shape of all my other Balenciaga knife pumps but I guess they decided to do something a little bit different for the red color and these are just a classic black pump but I got them anyway just because like I mentioned a million times already I love the shape of them and they're also extremely, extremely comfortable because the leather is nice and soft so I could wear these all day and my feet will feel fine versus if I wore like Louboutin Soakades all day my feet would feel like kind of broken at the end of the day so I mean I'm glad I have a more comfortable black pump as an option. So moving on we have something from Prada, actually two little things and I have been really into Prada lately. Actually I've been into Prada since last year and then I got even more excited when they said that Raf was going to be co-designing. Prada has always been kind of one of my favorite brands but especially since they started doing the nylon pieces again. So this is from their newer collection and it is a pair of earrings so they only sell them single so that's why there's two of them because you have to buy it separately. One's for the right ear and one's for the left so I think this one is for the left ear. It's just this little triangle earring and it's their logo plaque so it's kind of a classic. I have so many Prada pieces with their little triangle logo because they've kind of been like redoing it and just sticking it on everything especially the nylon pieces so I thought it would just be a nice pair of earrings to have. This is the left ear and then the right ear is in here. You could wear it just single earring which I think would be cool as well but I just thought it would be nice to have two because why not just wear two little Prada triangles. We have some more Prada. I think this is a sweater that I ordered. There was quite a few ready-to-wear pieces that I loved from the recent collection with Raf and so I thought oh this is actually not a piece of clothing although I know that there is some coming because she told me that they got shipped. So this is actually a bag that I kind of actually forgot about that I purchased because it's been some time. I pre-ordered it and finally it's here and it's this very cute little re-edition white shearling Prada bag. I really love the re-edition shape and I thought it was quite interesting how they did it in shearling especially for the winter. It's very appropriate. This is definitely one of the bags that you can only carry like seasonally because it wouldn't really make sense to carry in the summertime since it is shearling and I also got the black one with like the crystals all over it. It's still coming. It's very casual which is nice because they don't have too many casual bags and this one did come in a few other colors so there is white, there is a light pink, there's a black and I think there's a gray and maybe also a mint green but I ended up going with this white one. So that big package was from Yuke's which is actually a division of like Net-a-Porter or something. I'm not exactly sure but I think like Yuke's owns Net-a-Porter. Anyways, I saw these boots from Versace and these boots are actually from quite a few years ago the collection but I don't even know how I stumbled across them. I just randomly came across them one day. I think it was actually an ad that I saw. It has this like really big tall chunky heel with like a platform in the front. It's almost like a little bit of a sneaker inspired boot because it has like all the laces in the front here. I can tell they're going to be very form-fitting because it's kind of like this neoprene material and it has like a stretch so it's going to fit really nice and tight around your leg. So the shoes in this next package is probably the one that I was looking forward to opening the most. Well actually no, I'm wrong because what's in this big box is something very special from Balmain. But anyways, back to these shoes. So I was saying I'm very excited for these shoes because I have not really purchased any kind of sneakers like this before. I came across this sneaker on Instagram. It was on my like explore feed and I thought they were so cool and different and unique and it's the Nike Ispa sneaker. I'm not a sneaker head by any means but these really caught my attention. They are insane and so cool. I hope it's the right size because it's like men's sizing. So I ended up getting a size six I believe no except a six in men's and so yeah this is what they look like. I don't even really know how to but it's just like a really fun and interesting shoe. I guess the most different thing or different unique part about this shoe is how it has like a toe slit and the bottom is ridiculously cool as well. There's all these like funky colors and I love the platform thing. I don't know it's just like a really cool, fun, different, interesting sneaker. I haven't really seen anything like it before and it also came with a pair of socks which is a little bit random but I guess these socks are supposed to be for the shoes. Oh that makes sense because the socks have like a little toe slit so I guess you cannot wear other socks with it otherwise your foot wouldn't be able to fit all the way through since it has like a little toe or you could just go sockless. Next we have a brand that is called Sammy Miro Vintage and it's based in LA started by a girl that's like an influencer and she does like these reworked recycled vintage pieces which I love and I'm also really glad that there's a lot more brands that are becoming more sustainable. I got this little black crop top. It's just like a short sleeve asymmetrical crop top and it has this like ribbing detail all over it. It comes in white as well but I ended up doing the black because the white looked really sheer on line on the model and I didn't want something that was like see-through. So this is the first piece and I also got a pair of sweatpants and this is like a white pair of sweatpants. It's like an off-white cream color and has a safety pin detail across the front. They feel super soft and comfortable which is nice because that's what you want when it comes to sweatpants and then we also have a matching hoodie sweatshirt. It's like a zip cropped hoodie and this little hoodie has like a v-cut shape in the front. I do have this hoodie in like a tie-dye blackish brown color. I'll insert a photo of me wearing it here so you guys can see what it looks like but I got this white set because I thought it was just a nice casual set to have since we're still spending all so much time at home and in more casual comfortable clothes. Before we get to the final package we have these two pieces from Montclair and I opened them together because it's the same piece but just in different colors and this one I found on Net-a-Porter and the other one was on Montclair's website. So this is a little jacket from the Montclair and Rick Owens collaboration. I love Montclair, I love Rick Owens so their collaboration was like a little match made in heaven for me and I got this cropped puffer. It's a little bit deflated from being in the package. It has this like interesting draping ruched details around the side. Again like with some of the other pieces I was showing you guys earlier I have to put this on because it looks like a black blob right now when I'm showing you guys from holding it up so I'm gonna have to try it on and I'll show you the other color that I got as well because I think I might prefer this color over the black. So the other color is silver and I don't know I mean honestly I think I would probably end up going for the silver even without trying it just because I have a lot of black puffers and just black pieces in general. I think black is a little bit more basic and I prefer stuff that's like a little bit more unique. It's called the UFO puffer. Sorry so my battery actually just died if it looks a little bit different than the previous setup but as I was saying I think I was talking about the UFO shape. It does look kind of like a UFO shape sort of so I guess the name makes sense and it's called the UFO puffer. Last but certainly not least we have an incredible dress from Balmain. I don't even know where to begin to describe this but let's see there is like a chain detail across the top here. It's a one shoulder asymmetrical dress and there's like rope detailing across the front. There's crystal embellishments, pearl embellishments, chain embellishments and also this like beautiful flower kind of design thing. There's also this really pretty like draping with the sequins on the bottom which I think is so beautiful and there's like a net design on this side. I do have a few similar Balmain dresses that are very heavily embellished but this is probably my most favorite. Maybe it's because it's my most recent purchase but we'll give it a try and I want to show you guys what it looks like and I also have a few other things to try as well so that will conclude this part of the unboxing and now I'll take you guys up to the closet so we can try some of these pieces on. We are going to start by trying the Moncler puffer jackets to decide what color I prefer and I know I was saying earlier how I think it's gonna be the silver one because the black is so plain but I actually quite like how the black looks and I don't know it's just like a very cute little cropped jacket for the winter. You could wear it with nothing underneath. You could layer something. I mean if it was with the right outfit I think it would be super cool because it's a little bit fun and edgy but also different and let's give the silver one a try. This is the silver one so now I'm confused because I feel like I almost prefer the black but then I keep thinking to myself that the black is just so boring because I have black puffer jackets so I'm a little bit torn. I do like how the silver one looks more futuristic and like Rick Owens vibes versus the black is more like Moncler and kind of classic because it's black so we'll see. I mean I honestly don't know which one I prefer now. This is the Beaumont dress and I have no words because it is truly incredible and now this has become my favorite dress out of my whole collection because it's like a piece of art. I mean I have other shoes and dresses that are similar but this one is definitely the most special. I love the pearls, the rope design, the shape and the one shoulder matches really nicely with the shape and lines of this dress. I also love how it has like a raw hem finish so it's like kind of frayed and asymmetrical and the sleeves match with it. It's kind of fun how it's like fringy on the bottom. So I think this is the last piece that I'm going to try on but I hope you guys enjoyed this video and seeing all the new things that I got.
