HIGHLIGHTS: REAL MADRID - VALENCIA FINAL | CHAMPIONS LEAGUE 1999/2000

I would like to have Christian Karambe in the starting line-up who just over two years ago reached for the World Cup here and today could reach for the European Cup Just like two years ago when Real also unexpectedly beat Juventus to win the Champions League Here is the setup of the royal team Casillas in goal El Guero Karanko Ivan Campo in the middle On the flanks Stalagado and Roberto Carlos In the second line Redondo Raul and McManaman It's not over yet there will be a chance but the ball is missing the goal A corner kick for Valencia Mendieta The ball was strongly driven but missed the goal Moriente's mistake with a clear chance it's Campo Only the groan of the profession from On the other hand probably Santiago Roberto Carlos still hasn't been burned yet Anelka and Calizares are great Great shot Anelka did what he probably once scored in Munich Jest Mendieta just enough to surprise Casillas Beautiful counterattack executed Raul passes to the left to Roberto Carlos Roberto Carlos sharply Karankowy's penalty kick in the box Casillas The ball is outside the field like now from Roberto Carlos' kick It's McManaman and he's defending Calizares An excellent opening move by Calizares McManaman decided to take a shot from the first ball But be careful Roberto Carlos the ball was deflected There's still Salgado Anelka a push in the penalty area Anelka slams the ball to Salgado who manages to get it past It's a goal that's right 1-0 for Real Fernando He scored the goal and put it in the net And everything started with Roberto Carlos He was just too big for me The goalpost sits on the ball then it bounces off Anelka won the ball and we are up 1-0 Very good now there will be no calculations We'll soon see how this happened It's Fernando Moriente collecting the response but immediately Valencia's response Lopez Casillas I'm sure you don't see it right now but there were two From defense it's Anelka Anelka's sharp angle The ball goes out for a corner kick after Canizares' intervention Three balls from Claudio Lopez He is moving to the right Mendieta It's him again no penalty No no there wasn't Now we can again talk about the goal loss Raul and Canizares He likes to run far from the goal line Bramkarz Walencji Those who direct their teams Already in the final line of the field Magmana Mani 2 to 0 Beautiful goal by Steve Magmana because he did that in the first half But this time he hit more effectively Real is leading 2 to 0 Could this be the end of Valencia's dreams No this is definitely the end of Valencia's game In my opinion changes must happen right now I either end up in a draw or lose by a third or fourth goal The players are losing their enthusiasm Lopez is playing very well on the grass today Excellent move It will be hard for anyone to match Real in terms of European trophies Salgado It's clumsy But a great ball movement Raul saw Salgado entering Now is the chance to counterattack Because the Real player is on his own half Raul or Canizares Will it be 3 to 0 Raul Yes it is Goal The Champions League winner I have no doubts Knockout of Valencia at the Stade de France With that one could have expected such a scenario Well It was a wild shot The Valencia players all left They went under Casillas' goal I shot the ball here Oh please I don't even know which player it was Raul Casillas That was a nice shot but it was blocked by Canizares At the Stade de France No Over the goal of Fernando Hierro Real Madrid is now entering history For the eighth time in history The Royal team The best club in Europe It doesn't seem that this match ended deservedly The most deserved victory for the team from Madrid Which showed experience today She showed the world as footballers say It's not a masterpiece Every player dreams of lifting this trophy above their head What a magnificent moment The flash bulbs are blinking at the Stade de France Real Madrid won the UEFA Champions League in the 1999-2000 season What a glorious moment for Manuel Sanchis Who also pleased some players who are now here as well
