(Premier League 2022/2023): Highlights Bournemouth - Liverpool

Hello from Jim Bramfield and Matt Holland at the Vitality Stadium, for Bournemouth against Liverpool in week 27. A chance for Liverpool to get into the top four, a chance for Bournemouth to get out of the bottom four, one incredible win to build upon, a massive defeat to avenge. So, how do you follow one of the most stunning victories in your history? It's out of your view for now. Alexander-Arnold is going to work a direct one inside the penalty area. Van Dijk! In clearance off the line. Bournemouth have got the worst record for defending set-pieces this season. Salah, very quickly on the scene, and Bournemouth turning possession over Solanke, and here is that ball! What a chance for Watara, round the goalkeeper, the angle too tight. Van Dijk again with the ball over the top, Smith nowhere to be seen, Neto with a crucial save. David Nunez, take-down by Elliott, in from Nunez! And then in from Gagpo, from an offside position. More than 250 victories later, the appetite for success still remains unsated. Now Watara again, must be close to being offside here, but the flag has stayed down for now, Solanke's in the middle. So too is for Billy! It did look really tight, well, he looks onside, it looks like Canate plays him on. That ball over the top is something Bournemouth have tried to do on numerous occasions already, and they haven't had too much joy from it. Robertson, plenty of height, plenty of width, Van Dijk! Should have scored. Back for Smith, one man who has beaten Liverpool before in a Bournemouth shirt. Sanessi, good juggle, he found Solanke, who couldn't find the target. What a chance against his old club to really compound the misery. Solanke losing out, Liverpool staying patient in behind him, it's Jotter! Good save, net up. Jotter unable to hook the ball forward as he wanted. Alexander-Arnold, Nunez will give chase, he's got a pace advantage against Sanessi. Expect now more rotation between Firmino and Gagpo. And here's James Milner getting four for the first time, just too much on him for Gagpo, Jotter coming in, and they think it was a handball. Corner has been given. But that is about to change. Ball by Smith. Salah against Neto to tie it up at 1-1 with a quarter of the game to go. No problem! Still time for them. Here's Anthony. Heavily done by Christie! And Alisson needs to make sure there with Solanke lurking in behind him. Liverpool gather the way. Alisson launching it forward. It's Gagpo! A half chance, his reaction says it all. Five minutes, all but up. Robertson sending it forward. Sanessi heads it away. Vina clears, Bournemouth win.
