(Premier League 2022/2023): Highlights Brighton - Crystal Palace

A very warm welcome to the Amex Stadium as Brighton host their big rivals Crystal Palace. Always an occasion to savour. So Brighton get the ball rolling. It is the 100th league meeting between these fierce rivals. Sides met at Selhurst Park a month ago. First contribution for the pantomime villain as far as Brighton are concerned. Wilfred Zaha hits for the byline and it's ticked away by Steele. Terrific first contribution. Lowe's lurking. Another short corner. Klein in again. It was header! What a huge chance for Crystal Palace. Odds on Edouard with just three Premier League goals this season. Well it just speaks about the form that Crystal Palace have in front of goal at the moment. It's a brilliant ball in and it's completely unmarked. Anderson. Straight through the middle. Alise's in here. Steele with the save. Flag stays down. For Klein. Alise tried to head it. That Palace have done against them. But crucially the Eagles haven't scored. And here goes Matoma. And through for March. March! What a brilliant, curious assist from Matoma. And what a finish from March who scored at Selhurst Park last month. He scored an even better one here. A magnificent goal for Brighton. He's on the inside. I think Tariq Mitchell, he needs to react a little bit quicker. Get inside a little bit more. He looks onside. The pass is great but this finish here. It's gross. Flag was up but none of that would have counted. It's all about the delivery from the left boot of Alise. Oh it's not a bad ball is it? And Anderson up from the back. Got his right boot to it and dragged it across goal. That was a real smashing grab as well from Fulham. McAllister. Brilliant. Estupinian. And Whitworth with the save and with his foot. Michael Alise again. Didn't catch it but nice build up there from Crystal Palace. Off the chest of Joël Veltman. What can they conjure from this one? Oh great save from Whitworth. Brilliant stop. McAllister. Ayew goes with him. McAllister. Just the wrong side of the post from Brighton's perspective. Have seen a goal-changing game. A game-changing goal in the 87th minute or later. This is Enciso. This is surely the last chance. There's it. Veltman. Victory over their biggest rivals.
