Let's go to Singapore
Hello Welcome or welcome back to my channel
So Ayan after a year I'll be returning to Singapore
Just a quick background
I have worked and lived in Singapore for 2 years
So of course to follow my ex-boyfriend
Ex kasi
We got engaged in Singapore
We got married in Singapore
Then when we found out that I was or were pregnant
Ayan so balik pinas ako Months after giving
birth I will visit my husband in Singapore
So without further ado sharing the updated travel requirements process immigration and airport tips
This vlog is perfect for your next trip to Singapore
So let's go to this great city and
first-world country Let's start
So when traveling of course it's essential to know the requirements of the country you're entering
For this video you'll learn the requirements from the Philippines to Singapore
Three basic things to prepare before your
flight to Singapore First of course a valid
passport Minimum of six months passport
validity Next is Vaxert or vaccination card
People aged 13 and above should be fully vaccinated
So if you are fully vaccinated there is no need to do a swab or PCR test
And the last requirement this is specifically for Singapore travelers
We need to prepare our Singapore arrival card So all travelers entering
Singapore must submit it online three days before their arrival date
So check the links in the description box for the updated list of requirements when entering Singapore
Some tend to get intimidated or nervous when they are in immigration
If you have nothing to hide just relax take a deep breath and let it out
Just prepare the necessary documents and answer their questions honestly and thoroughly
Get straight to the point and answer properly
So when it was my turn the immigration officer just asked me the purpose of my flight and how many days I would be staying in Singapore
Printed or soft copy you can show the documents on your phone
Have the documents ready
So I will share some basic documents you need to prepare
So I added some that I heard other travelers mentioned
So you will have a complete set of documents when you arrive at the airport There
Some immigration officers ask for different documents
So just be prepared
So when they look for it you will
be ready There
So what are these
Let's go
Birth Certificate
Marriage Certificate if applicable
Proof of Work Return Ticket
Bank Statement This is
the duration not the final
amount they are looking for
Itinerary
Sometimes they will ask where are you going
So you really need to have an idea of where you're going which day
what you' re going to do where you're going to eat and where you're going to shop There
So it's really great to search for places and tourist attractions you want to visit when you're in Singapore
There So those with work company
ID and Certificate of Employment And sometimes
they're looking for where you're going
to stay So show them your hotel booking
Okay so here are some things you shouldn't do when facing
an immigration officer Of course don't use your phone
You are not allowed to take pictures or
videos So use your phone only when
you are presenting documents Like that And
of course you have to listen to them
So no to them if you're
not listening or keep asking again and again There
So the second no-no-no is bringing a diploma or transcript of records
Because they already know what you want
to do You have a purpose
You have a plan to enter
Singapore So you already know that
And last no-no is don't answer them with a lot of questions
Mixed questions What is that
All of them with a lot of questions
Just stay to the point
Because you
should
answer their questions How many
days Three Where
are you going
What are you going
to do
Shopping Tour Food There
So they don't want a lot of questions
because it's suspicious And then they'll think
that you're planning something You'
re nervous Or maybe you're hiding something
Just stay to the point There So we're
done with travel documents And no-no 's
to avoid getting offloaded Especially
if Changi Airport is really strict
Or immigration here and to Singapore
So we don't want our
travel to be ruined Especially if
we really want
to go on a tour So there That's nerve-racking
Those are bad vibes There So let me know
through the comment box below if you have
other documents or questions and
experience
at the airport that I didn't mention
Or just check along your experience
So moving on to the last part of this video is
Airport Guides and Tips
Because we all want a stress-free airport experience
or stress-free travel
So remember these things you need
to know to do and to expect First
arrive at the airport on time Especially those who are in Manila
It's really hard to get
to Naia Traffic
There isn't much traffic
It's hard to get a taxi
But on the other hand
I don't need to remind this anymore Because
we Filipinos are guilty of arriving at
the airport too early We tend to arrive at
the airport way before our flight schedule
Of course
don't underestimate the
waiting time the
lines from checking in
immigration travel
tax of course and
boarding time And
extra time will give us
Chill time to
take pictures
videos perfect of
course
for social media
There
Stories posts
TikTok Instagram
Facebook YouTube
There is a lot of social media
Next is Peso Cash for Tax Travel
You have already paid for your ticket
You have the currency of the country you will be entering
Others forgot to set aside some
money for the travel tax We all
know that to travel there's a
tax right And it's not that small
It's 1 620 for one adult economy
But for those who are like me
an OFW dependent
just need to pay 300 pesos
and just present
a valid Overseas Employment
Certificate of your husband or your provider
your father your parents national documents
like marriage certificate for
husband and wife
and birth certificate for parents
Next tip is bring
your own ball pen We
need to fill up the
departure card and
of course still need to be hygienic
And of course we don 't
want to disturb
other strangers asking for a ball
pen So yeah just bring your own ball pen Next is bring enough peso cash
For food and drinks
So yeah because
we're early sometimes we wait for a
long time and we'
ll get hungry we all
know that food is really expensive
Food drinks or even
bottled water So my meal was 700
pesos for
a pasta and a drink
70 pesos for a small
bottle of water
But of course uhaw and gutom win
So yeah I bought
a pikat mata Last
tip is to dress
well and properly
Yay Touchdown Singapore
So I just waited
for a few minutes
in immigration No questions
were asked And I'm on my way
out I'll look for a taxi or cab
This place I miss this place
Before for two years
And that's it Thank you
so much for watching
We are so happy now
that we can finally
