Start a new day and you've seen that I've added a few images from the Born area
And that's why we've been going through it because it's very close to where we have the apartment
And as for the rest it's about the Great Sea Now we wanted to make a stop next to the Barcelona Cathedral
Where were the other day but we overlooked a mosaic that Mara had seen around there
And I wanted to see it and here we are It's a photomosaic by Joan Fontcouverta isn't it I think it was
A Kiss which is very beautiful because it's made of mosaics right
They're like different activities small images of the beach and whatever else right
It has various shades and such the truth is it's very beautiful
It's the Born area and we're in one of my favorite spots in Barcelona
It's so peaceful and beautiful it's the Mare Magnum
Now you're going to see basically it's a wooden walkway that's here leading to where it is
Barcelona Aquarium It's commercial but the truth is it's really beautiful
because it's really quiet there are some benches here you can sit on the wooden planks
You are sitting there on the ground looking at the sea
One of the most relaxing places in the area it's really great
Oh I always love coming here sitting here on the floor with my feet in the water
And enjoy it right The peace that's here I mean in this area you just hear silence
And a bit of the noise from the gulls and such and an occasional small boat
And right here we have this tower which is the connection point of the cable car coming from there
Connect to this tower and then go up to Montjuic which is the hill in the background
Then we will go there we won't go up as much as before but we will see the Olympic Stadium
And all that
Okay and here next to the port we started climbing up to Montjuic
Climb
It's like three kilometers to climb up this path like this
And there it is winding along and it's a very beautiful climb
There is also the cable car that I have already shown you for climbing which costs about 10 euros per ride
And there's also a funicular I don't know if we'll catch it on the way
because right now I'm a bit lost about where the cable car is because I've always driven there before
But anyway we ran into it on the way
And here we are at a midpoint where the Hotel Miramar is located
A very well-known hotel and it's where the cable car we saw earlier arrives
Now we have to keep climbing
From here you can see much of the city of Barcelona
From Barcelona 92 it was officially named the Montjuic Olympic Stadium and Lluís Company
So now let's take a walk there's a place that's really nice
From there you can also see the stadium's facade but there's also the Palau Sant Jordi
Well this venue where we are is known as the Olympic Ring
It is a venue built for the Barcelona 92 Olympics
Then we have on this side the Olympic Stadium which we have shown before from the inside
It has that part about soccer athletics etc
Then back here we have the Palau Sant Jordi
That's the one I mentioned where such big concerts and other cultural events are held
Then we have here the Calatrava Tower a communications tower
at the architect Calatrava designed
And then all this which is like a little plaza with some parks and fountains and they are very nice
Let's go down here now
And just down here from Montjuic from the Olympic Ring we have the National Palace
It is a building that was built for the 1929 World's Fair
And today what it houses is the National Museum of Art from here in Catalonia
Well now we have the National Palace of Art of Catalonia behind us
And just by descending the stairs from this viewpoint you can see Barcelona very beautiful
And one of my favorite parts is the Magic Fountain
Okay and here all the way down we have a source that is turned off
And it is called the Magic Fountain of Montjuic here
Just going down all the stairs from the National Palace
And what is characteristic is that practically every night of the year
although in summer all nights outside of that season
So you have to watch it for example now we are in March and it's only on Friday and Saturday
If they illuminate and play with water jets with lights and music
similar to that of the Bellagio or the Dubai Fountain
I'm leaving the videos here and here I'll take this opportunity to do a little promotion
So let's go visit this area which is very beautiful
Then at night we'll come back and watch a bit of the show which is really cool and very much worth it
And here as we continue down towards the roundabout we are about to reach which is called Plaza España
We have on the right the Barcelona Congress Palace
and just next to it the Fira Barcelona
They are the most important congress event and exhibition palaces in all of Catalonia
And in fact the Mobile World Congress is usually held in March
It is the most important mobile phone conference in the world
And in recent years it has always been held here at Fira Barcelona
Well here we are finally we've reached the Plaza España
What I like most about Plaza España is not the roundabout itself
Only the building behind it which as you can see has a very distinctive appearance
It looks a lot like a bullring because it actually was a bullring
It's called Las Arenas from here in Barcelona
and before that it was a bullring that when it lost its popularity
He removed it and turned it into a shopping center which is what it is today
A bit of a trendy mall but it's really cool
It has transparent elevators on the outside to go up to the rooftop
It has a very nice terrace with a few bars and restaurants
It has amazing views of the entire area of Barcelona
Well I'm an idiot
We came here to eat at a place that Roser
recommended a burger place called Times Square
It's near
Times Square Better that you
write it
Well yes I'll leave it as always below
But it's a burger place that should
be pretty good but we've gone too far
It shouldn't be so expensive for us
But we took the most expensive one and also got a half-kilo portion of potatoes
Look at this
Oh it's super big
I haven't brought the hamburgers yet but they are 200 grams
The meat is going to become a crawling creature
That is when they take it out we'll show them
But I think we've overdone it
But we had a lot and besides we took a panacotta and tiramisu
Roser is laughing at us
But she's very tasty
Hi there
How is the burger
AmazingIt's very tasty but as always
It's come down to half
a kilo of potatoes but it's very very tasty
This place is definitely worth visiting
If you're passing by and don't know where to go and you're not in the mood for a hamburger
Well this is the Hamburguer the Timerburg
How did you call
it Times Square
Yeah sure Burger
It's supposed to be Burger Joint
And now I've read it backwards
