£40,000 Motorhome Tour : 2011 Autotrail Mohawk

This is an Autotrail Mohawk and the reason I want to show you this is because it's an awful lot of vehicle for the money. Now it's a 2011 but it's seven and a half meters so it's really spacious and what you've got with this it's sleeping for four but it's seat belts and traveling for two so what this makes is a very comfortable vehicle for two people to do some serious touring with. Let's take a wander around the outside first of all you can see it's got sort of like the Luton style body on it it's really spacious. We'll come down this side and have a quick old look now this one does appear to have the garage on the back and I say appear because unfortunately it's locked so I can't show you in there so we'll have to imagine that but that looks like it goes right across the whole vehicle. Come right on around it's got the ladder on the back as well to get access to the roof but it's the inside I think is most impressive for this that's that garage again there you see cassette for the toilet is just there but we're going to head on in it's got the awning on this one as well which is always useful but check this out this is rather lovely actually very cozy I like the woodwork in this one we're going to come forward it's based on the Fiat Ducati chassis so it's the standard sort of setup there manual gearbox usual sort of thing that you would expect in the swiveling seats of course and although it's a Luton style body you don't have the bed up here what you do have is a massive amount of storage look at this these are huge so you can really get a load of stuff away in here this is what I mean about this would be brilliant for some serious touring and then what you've got is a very comfortable lounge area now this will make into a bed these slide out so that if you want to make that into a bed you can do there's storage underneath them as well so that just opens like so but for two people you just leave this as a permanent lounge it's actually got a separate bedroom which I'll show you in just a moment there's more storage up here we've got scarlet up above these are blinds that come across and I can't demonstrate those because if I do this will fall out this in case you're wondering it's just because we're indoors and so they put these lights in to give us some more effectively like natural light really let's head on back a bit further big kitchen area on this one you've got the microwave as well as proper oven grill and four burner hob and one of those is from your 240 volts so if you're plugged in you can use that one without depleting your lpg that's very helpful light the splashback on here that works really well yet more storage I won't open them all you know what storage looks like by now we've got the fridge in here as well and again just storage everywhere that one there is for your cutlery if we spin on around this way above the door we've got the control panels for the vehicle so we've got this one here switching your lighting on and off you can check your battery condition on here like so it's actually quite a sophisticated setup you've got water on here as well that switches your your water on and off and then you've got heater controls here as well and then next to that this one is just a massive illuminated hanging locker how cool is that that's fantastic and this is the thing I find particularly interesting because they've then got a completely separate sleeping area back here what they've done with this is just put a fixed bed this is over that garage that we couldn't access but a very big proper well it's a bedroom it's an actual bedroom isn't it in here there's a separate shower and toilet so your shower is on this side closes off across here it's clipped back at the minute we release that little trap at the top there you can see how that comes across what's quite neat about this is they've put a hanging rail in here which you can take out if you want to so if you come when you've been out walking and it's raining all that kind of stuff you can hang your coats and that sort of stuff in there and it'll drain into the shower sump that's excellent and then on the other side we've got toilet compartment so sink in there you can do obviously and what's really neat about this is that this door here you can bring across it's designed clip into there and now we've got a completely self-contained area for getting dressed getting ready in the morning so if you have got four people sleeping in it overnight you've got that proper privacy you don't normally find that I think you can see what I mean about how this is a lot of vehicle for the money I mean obviously it's because it's a little bit of an older one but it just shows what you can get that is fantastic I'm going to wander back down here I'm going to take a seat I'm going to say massive thanks to the Somerset Motorhome Centre who organized this tour huge thanks as ever to you guys for watching let me know what you think of this in the comments and we'll catch you on another one of these real soon take care bye
