(Premier League 2022/2023): Highlights Bournemouth - Nottm Forest

A very warm welcome on a very chilly day to the Vitality Stadium here on the south coast. The bottom eight clubs in the Premier League are separated by just five points. Two of them go head-to-head here. So away we go. These two promoted sides both at the halfway point of their season. Johnson, Aurier on that far side. Gibbs-White's available. Fine save from Neto. Gibbs-White holds his face though. He keeps it down. Maybe he scores. Shoots across the surface. Hits it. Forest Fan singing his name. Johnson's in an interesting position. Lifted in by Gibbs-White. Volley and in. Really well worked set play but Willy Bolley was offside. It's no goal. Anthony. How has he missed that? And the assistant thought it was offside but rightly kept the flag down until after the ball had hit the net. Asked questions later. That's a good example of VAR in action. Watara. Oh, Anthony. Huge chance. Brilliant goal. Heather from Kiefer Moore. There's the acceleration away. He doesn't look up. He just puts it in an area where he knows a teammate should be. And Anthony was there and what a finish this is. Still got a lot to do. There. He has a quick look there. Puts it in an area. He knows his teammate is going to attack. His first touch was brilliant. Absolutely brilliant. There. Puts it to him. Look at this for a touch. Didn't panic. Then goes across Hennessy who's got no chance. Forest will be disappointed with that but this is a good goal. Really is. Class finish. Class build up. Bournemouth ending a set play on the edge of the box. Gibbs-White. Volley. Didn't quite make contact. Yates. Cleared off the line. Ball. Referee says carry on. You're in possession with Rothwell. In towards Kiefer Moore. Good goalkeeping Zamora. Anthony. Didn't quite get it through the crowd. Scarper. Johnson. Promising. Oh good stop. Just arrowing towards the bottom corner that one. Out to Loddie. Put it away by Jack Stephens. On loan from Southampton just up the road. Give it away to Gibbs-White. Brennan Johnson could be in and stabbed in on the far post by Sam Saric. His first Premier League goal comes against his former club. He did put his flag up. Oh he looks off. He looks off. Yeah he does. He's going to be disallowed. Was he off from the cut back by Johnson? Well the foot there. There's a foot out. Close yet again. I think he's onside there. He looks offside. I think he's on. It's a goal. It's an equaliser for Nottingham Forest. No he's gone short to Dembele. Nice spin but there's the full-time whistle and Gary O'Neill has to be content with a point. He'll be desperately disappointed having led in this game for so long.
