So why don't you introduce yourself first?
My name is Luanshuang.
After graduating from a university in Northeast China,
I stayed in the university to become a teacher.
Later, I moved to Shenzhen in southern China
and worked for a group company.
So how did you become interested in Falun Gong?
Actually, regarding Falun Gong,
I learned about it later.
It started to spread in 1992.
But I was very busy with work in Shenzhen and had never heard of it.
It wasn't until 1999, on April 25th,
when I was working in the company,
that the company conveyed a message
saying that over ten thousand people had gone to Beijing to appeal.
This piqued my curiosity.
when conveying the documents this time,
I felt that more than 10,000 people went to petition,
and it was voluntary.
I wondered why they went to petition,
especially in China at that time.
Everyone was afraid. Nobody would speak out.
If you said that more than 10,000 people went to petition in Beijing
at that time, I thought it was very unusual.
Because my mentality at the time was to keep myself far away.
Because in China, people who were a little older might know
that there would be a movement every few years.
So when a movement came, everyone was at risk of being targeted.
When I was in Jilin University in '64,
after experiencing the '64 movement,
the impact on us was
That was 64.
The impact on us was
very significant.
Since then, we felt that people should stay far away
because university students would be shot and killed for speaking.
They could be run over by a car.
So, I'm the type who
hides from everything.
At that time, the biggest feeling was
to find a job to support the family
and then hide.
And then I looked at that and thought it was strange.
They said
because of Falun Gong.
At that time, I really didn't even know
the three words of Falun Gong.
I had never heard of it.
That "Gong" might be Qigong.
I didn't know what "Fa" and "Lun" meant.
Later they said
there was a woman in the union who practiced this exercise.
Then I immediately
ran to her office
and asked to see her book.
So I took a look.
And, oh my, it completely overturned my whole life.
I was deeply touched.
It completely changed my perspective on life.
Um, can I ask?
When you say it overturned your whole life,
can you be more specific? For example,
like what?
Like, I used to see something and not dare to speak up,
even if someone was killed, I thought it had nothing to do with me.
So I felt like I had to hide.
Are all Chinese people like this?
Yes, they are.
So I thought this was just normal life.
Are they all like this?
Yes, they are.
So I just...
I thought that was how life was supposed to be.
I thought that was normal.
Most people think that way, right?
But after reading Zhuan Falun, he taught us three words:
"Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance."
What is "truthfulness"?
What is "compassion"?
What is "forbearance"?
In my understanding at the time, it meant
that you have to be a kind person.
You cannot stand by and watch someone die.
You cannot...
...not have a moral standard in your heart.
But we didn't even have a moral standard before.
Right, we were afraid to have such a standard.
Yes, because if you do that,
you may suffer losses yourself.
It's a loss in terms of interest.
Before I read this book, I used to think that way too.
But after reading this book,
I think if everyone thinks that way,
everyone will be a victim,
and the future society will be very tragic.
Because
I think life should have a positive and rational side,
and we cannot say that everyone should act that way.
Otherwise, everyone will kill and nobody will care.
In the end, even oneself will be killed, and still nobody will care.
I think this is too tragic and too dark in my life.
So I feel that it's too sad and too dark.
What was your mindset before you started practicing?
Actually, when I was young, I was very, very kind.
People would say that I was the one who always smiled.
When I was in primary school, there was a teacher who,
20 years later, said to me
"Oh, the impression you left on me was that you were always smiling,
with two little braids in your hair."
when I was young,I would see elderly people begging for food,
and even though I didn't have much money at the time,
I would give them one or two cents.
And when I saw someone in a lot of pain,
crying or shedding tears,
I would cry or shed tears with them.
It was just who I was.
And when I saw someone happy, I was happy too.
So, inside my heart,
I was a very kind person.
I just did what people said was good,
and followed that path.
But later on, after I went to college,
and entered society,
my thinking underwent a significant transformation.
I realized, as I grew older,
that it was because of my college professors
who, after we graduated from college,
told us that we young people should go to the frontier
to support China's rural areas,
and that we should dedicate our youth to our country,
that was the language used by the motherland at that time.
We were thinking that way.
We believed that wherever there was hardship, we would go there.
But a college professor told us in class
that we shouldn't listen to those things.
He said that those were all propaganda.
This sentence had a great impact on me at the time.
I thought it was all propaganda.
At that time, I realized that the truth may not be what it seemed.
So after graduation, I didn't...
I didn't even try to go to the so-called borderlands.
So the impact of '64 on me was really significant because, in college,
We were against the control of the officials and so on.
I thought that college students were for the good of the country.
But later, why did we suffer a bloody crackdown?
What the CCTV said at the time was that not a single shot was fired.
But many teachers and classmates from our university went,
and when they returned, they confirmed that shots were fired.
How many people died exactly?
That may still be a mystery to this day.
Then at that time there were rumors,
saying that the shooting was done with what,
flower blossom bombs,
using the bullets used in the battlefield to shoot students.
At that time, it was said to be a rumor,
but in fact, that's what happened.
Soldiers said that when they were killing students,
they all had a ferocious, abnormal laughter.
People said that they were all given stimulants.
These messages were passed on to me.
You could say that at the time I didn't believe it,
but later, many facts proved that it was all true.
So this had a very big impact on me.
I feel that in China, there is no place for you to speak.
You don't know what the future holds for people.
So I wrapped myself up because I am a kind person at heart.
But when confronted with the brutality of the Communist Party in society,
there seems to be no way out for anyone.
I don't know what to do.
In this society,
all I can do is to preserve my kindness.
But I cannot really do something like
speak out when someone is in trouble,
or say something fair
about, for example, a university student being killed.
I am too scared to say anything.
Because once you speak up, you have to register and have it on your record.
After 1989,
everyone had to shut up.
You couldn't speak out.
So I just enclosed myself in this state.
I can't speak up.
So I just wrapped myself up.
So it's just so coincidental that, in 1999, it was the transmission document
...and then this book. I felt like I had found the direction of my life.
This book...I feel like I have found the direction of my life.
I think that as a human being, there should be a universal principle, a universal law.
There should be a principle, it's not like people can cheat and deceive each other...
...there should be a universal law.
It's not like everyone can earn as much money as they can...
...and then the society will be infinitely beautiful...
...and we can just keep going like this.
We cannot continue like this.
This book made me start thinking about life.
Yeah, for me,
whether I can persist in my kindness from childhood.
After reading this book, I think
you must maintain your kindness.
Yes, this is me,
this is the biggest change for me.
Originally, I should continue to maintain my kindness.
But in the past, I couldn't maintain it.
I might see someone being corrupt
But I wouldn't report it to anyone
I might not even report it to the authorities
I know there are people who are corrupt
But I might not report it
If I see someone commit murder or something
I might say "let's just walk away, it's none of our business"
We can't do anything about it anyway
That's my mentality
So, do you think you're kind-hearted?
Do you think you're kind-hearted?
Actually, this is something that has already been twisted
It's like, by this society
People have already become distorted
It's like you no longer have the ability to maintain your kindness
And even your kindness might get you into trouble.
Right, why did the Falun Gong practitioners suffer such great persecution later?
They lost their jobs, were imprisoned, and yet they still persisted.
How is it possible?
Actually, it's because they understood a true principle.
Only by understanding this principle can one make sacrifices.
Because I've only read this book for two months,
they started to persecute us.
Of course, there have been big changes.
Previously, even if they gave me a bonus, I wouldn't go.
Like when 10,000 people went to Beijing to give me a bonus.
I wouldn't go.
It's the same mentality.
They went to Beijing to give me a bonus, but I wouldn't go.
That's the mentality.
So, why did I decide to go to Beijing later on?
I wanted to speak up for justice.
I believe that if everyone cultivates truthfulness, compassion, and forbearance,
the principles I learned from Dafa, then...
So, I think that if you cannot even stand up for goodness and kindness,
...then how can you be a good person?
if you cannot uphold such a great truth, then how can you be a good person?
If someone is persecuted just because they are a good person... .
like many Falun Gong practitioners
who were imprisoned just because they practiced truthfulness, compassion,
and forbearance,So many Falun Gong practitioners
just because they are good people
They are killed and hacked, and that's how they are slaughtered.
It can be called...
...a crime of genocide.
If I just stayed at home and kept quiet...
if I just hid myself like before
then I would not be considered a human being anymore.
Don't just talk about being a good person...
...you must take action.
So, after I understood this truth, I decided to speak up for justice.
This is a big change for me.
At that time, there were also rumors that said:
"Who organized you?"
"And how are you doing things to the country?"
I can tell you all:
At that time, besides the company where I worked and the books I read,
I never had any contact with Falun Gong practitioners.
I never had any contact with any Falun Gong groups or students.
Because at that time, I was busy with work and taking care of my young child.
Then, the crackdown began.
I never went outside to have contact with anyone.
So, for people like us, it comes from the heart.
We want to speak the truth from our hearts.
But many people don't understand.
They ask, "Why are there so many of you?"
"And how are you organized?"
"Who organized you?"
No one organized us.
We just want to speak from our hearts.
We want to tell the truth about what's in our hearts.
We want to tell this to the government at that time.
We want to let them know that we are all good people.
Yes, we are all showing him
how to be a good person.
That's why we can go to Beijing.
Do the people around you understand your behavior?
Boss, you have such a good job.
Other people can't even find a job like yours. Why did you give it up?
Yes, that's right.
He thinks you might be mentally ill.
So many people want this job, but you just gave it up.
Why did you do that?
It's not that I wanted to give it up. He was persecuting me, you know.
I understand this issue.
It's not that I wanted to give it up. He was persecuting me, you know.
Right, he wants to get back at you.
He wants to make you lose your job and your home.
This is a clear-cut case of good versus evil.
He just doesn't want you to be a good person.
So how do you deal with it?
You can lie, and you'll be fine.
If you tell the truth, he'll come after you.
Don't you see that?
This is China today.
It's just the way it is.
Yes, they'll ruin the good things you have.
As for the bad things like gambling, womanizing, and corruption,
you can still be promoted to a high position.
Yes.
That woman in the company is just clinging to the chairman.
They're just corrupting each other.
Everyone can see it.
They're doing it right in front of you.
So after you cultivate yourself,
will it have an impact on your family?
For example, sometimes during your day, you may spend a lot of time practicing.
In your practice, right?
You spend a lot of time, right?
At that time, when I told you, it wasn't like that.
Work didn't take much time, right?
Yeah, so what are you trying to say?
That was all in our free time after work.
Right, we didn't say we wouldn't do anything else and just practice every day.
Right, that's normal work.
Yeah, that's it.
We should work when we're at work.
In our free time, we should read and follow the book to improve ourselves.
That's how we should be.
We should be better people.
Actually, we're not much different from others.
It's just that you're changing inside.
Right, work and life are the same as before.
But now, we're more responsible and better at what we do.
We have a standard to measure ourselves.
When others give each other gifts, I won't accept them.
When you give me a gift, I won't accept it.
Because I don't think I should take gifts from others.
My family can understand that.
They can understand.
Since I started practicing, my family thinks that I have become better.
My family can understand.
Family members feel that since you started practicing,
your changes have been getting better and better.
Your personality and temperament have changed for the better.
Everything about you is good.
Everyone can feel it, right? Before, you used to get angry
and throw tantrums.
But after practicing, you basically don't get angry or throw tantrums.
You know, your family members can feel it even more.
You know how great this is.
Hahaha.
So, no one in the family opposes my practice.
Why did you take the opportunity to go overseas?
Because of the Communist Party.
After I went to Beijing to appeal, they
kept monitoring and following me.
After being forced out of my original job,
I worked at a company owned by a Taiwanese boss.
The first call I received at work was from the Public Security Bureau.
At that time, I felt
that I had no freedom at all.
Because
I didn't tell anyone I was working at this company,
so why did the police station call me?
I felt they were constantly monitoring me.
I really felt insecure.
Later, I applied for a passport.
After I got it,
I took my daughter
and went on a trip to Australia with a tour group.
Then, we came to the United States, and we adapted well to life here.
After coming to a foreign country,
well, at first there were difficulties
such as language barriers and not being able to drive,
but these difficulties were really nothing for us.
Do you know what I felt when I first came abroad?
Well, I would rather be in an Australian prison than go back to China.
You see, even Australian prisons are better than Chinese ones,
because Australia respects human rights.
Even if you are a real criminal, they won't mistreat you.
But in China,
if you're a good person, you haven't committed any crimes,
they can torture you and even harvest your organs.
This is the difference between two countries.
So you say it's difficult overseas,
but he won't take your life.
Even if it's tough, you can still earn a living through your own labor.
So, for us cultivators,
I don't have any trouble adapting overseas.
Even if it's hard, it's not like the persecution you face in China.
Where you have no sense of security every day.
That's different.
Speaking of being overseas,
even if I'm washing dishes, I'll still sing.
Hahaha!
Apart from cultivation, what else do you have,
like hobbies or something?
Yes, I actually like singing, dancing, and watching movies.
after coming overseas, there are still countless people imprisoned in China.
But after I started cultivating, I realized that,
although I still like these things, I feel that,
Although I am now living overseas,
I feel that back in my home country, there are countless people being locked up in prisons.
Therefore, most of the time, I want to tell the world to understand
How the Communist Party is committing genocide
Persecuting such good people
This is a very important aspect of my life.
Beyond my normal work and life
I will use my spare time
to do these meaningful things
I think this is a very urgent matter.
So how do you do it specifically?
Go to government departments
or respond to the situation
or participate in some activities
or deal with Westerners
or mainly deal with Chinese?
Anything that can help us tell the truth
we do it in various ways
For example, when I first arrived overseas in Australia
many media in the society invited us to speak about our persecution
and we would go there.
And some university senior centers invited us
and we would go there.
We were also invited by some rich clubs.
And in the US, I also participated in some car parades
to end the CCP's tyranny and spread information
to tell the American people that they have also been affected.
And they strongly support it.
They approve of it.
He also said that we are ahead of Americans.
He said it was because the Communist Party is persecuting the whole world.
It's infiltrating even the United States.
Ah, they're all doing this in their spare time.
All in their spare time.
We still work and live as usual.
Do you think this is politically motivated?
I think people who cultivate Dafa and improve their character are
living their lives according to the standards of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance.
But the Communist Party is killing Falun Gong practitioners.
As a normal person,
if you were killed, would you want to speak out for justice?
Wouldn't you want to ask that person why you want kill me?
So I would ask the Communist Party,
"Why did you kill so many good people?"
Asking for them to stop killing is not participating in politics.
It has nothing to do with politics.
Yes, it has nothing to do with politics.
If your parents, brothers and sisters
were brutalized by someone else,
Wouldn't you want to ask for justice?
Is that what you're participating in?
At the beginning, Falun Gong practitioners had their organs harvested while they were still alive.
Despite the appeal of Falun Gong practitioners,
some people didn't believe it,
while others thought it was impossible.
But what about now?
So many middle school and university students have disappeared in China,
and their organs have been found to have been removed.
That means,
this persecution will affect everyone around you.
It's very scary.
When I watched "Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party" at that time,
I was very shocked
because I knew the Communist Party was bad,
but I didn't know where they were bad.
So, after reading "The Nine Commentaries,"
I feel that
since its publication in 2004 until now,
the Communist Party has not said a word about "The Nine Commentaries."
Why? Because every word it says is the truth.
If someone wrongly criticizes the Communist Party
it has powerful propaganda tools, such as newspapers and media outlets.
There were thousands of newspapers, media outlets, and TV stations
that once defamed Falun Gong.
Now, let's openly talk about "The Nine Commentaries."
Just say that you don't have these nine aspects.
You didn't kill anyone, and you weren't violent.
You don't even dare to say a word.
This shows that every sentence hits the nail on the head.
If you have the chance, you can search for "The Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party" online.
After reading it, I believe everyone will have the correct answer,
Because there is no way to refute it.
Because everything it says is a fact.
It's unreasonable to argue against it.
It's impossible to argue against it.
In 1989, if you fired a gun and killed someone, can you say that you didn't kill them?
But that day, so many years after the Mother of Tiananmen called for justice,
her child was beaten to death.
Can you say that you didn't kill her son?
Can you say that?
Right, there are just too many examples.
Like that person who had both of his legs crushed.
His name was Fang Zheng.
Yes, the whole world is talking about it.
His legs were crushed by a tank.
Can the Communist Party say that Fang Zheng's legs weren't crushed by them?
Right, because there is no way to deny it.
So they can only argue.
But there is evidence and witness testimony.
They can no longer argue.
Yes, his legs were crushed by your tanks.
It was in 2001, right?
It was the Tiananmen self-immolation incident in 2001, right?
Yes, in 2001.
In 2001.
The Falun Gong practitioner said this is a fake case.
To the Communist Party.
Its nature is to fabricate lies.
When he wanted to crack down on the Falun Gong group,
Jiang Zemin said he would eliminate Falun Gong in three months.
But he couldn't eliminate it even in 30 years.
So, the persecution of Falun Gong was at its peak.
At that time, there was no other choice,
because to fabricate materials to defame Falun Gong,
he created the Tiananmen self-immolation incident.
After so many years abroad
People from hundreds of countries practice cultivation
Why hasn't anyone self-immolated?
Why only in China have self-immolations occurred?
And on Tiananmen Square, no less?
If you want to self-immolate, you can do it at home, right?
Why would you choose Tiananmen Square?
So, all of this is fake.
And there's a documentary called "Fake Fire."
It's about this already-made TV show.
This television program.
It analyzes every detail of its fabrication.
You can go search for and watch this "Fake Fire."
The Communist Party just wants to defame you.
All those people are actors.
The mineral water bottle was filled with gasoline.
The person was burned, but the gasoline bottle was fine.
The gasoline bottle was fine.
If it's fabricated, then of course there are loopholes.
The person with burns covering such a large area
cannot use that kind of bandage, over the entire body.
It's wrapped too tightly.
But it's fabricated.
The wounds of someone who has been injured
and has such a large burn area
cannot be wrapped with gauze so tightly.
This is also medically impossible.
And your reporter went in wearing the black outfit.
That's how they got in.
It all had to be done.
Yes, you have to fight the bacteria and isolate them.
You can't enter the hospital like that.
So full of loopholes.
It's really not worth mentioning.
The Communist Party's fake news is just too ridiculous.
What they produce is simply laughable.
I heard that you're a good singer.
Finally, can you sing a song that you like for our audience?
Thank you for accepting my interview today.
