Learn how to travel continuously → https://www.travelcontinuously.com/ After 4 months of lockdown in the UK, now I'm taking my first flight on to Spain. This is what it was like to fly from London Luton in July 2020. Are you thinking of flying this summer? When is it ok to travel again? Let me know your thoughts below!

Travel has changed my life and I have no plans on stopping any time soon. That's why I am now running this video blog showing you how I travel the world continuously.
if you made it this far then let me know in the comments below!
All right, where do I start? It's been a weird few months for everyone. I haven't made a lot of
videos and everything's kind of, I don't know about you, but some of it's gone really really fast
during lockdown and some of it's gone really really slow and I kind of, I stopped making
videos because I kind of felt for me that every day was melding into the same thing and I was
trying to keep motivated. I was trying to keep doing things and keep on top of things and I was.
My interests were going in different directions at different times but I just didn't feel the
same drive to create videos on a travel channel about me staying in one place. But now I'm about
to get on a flight today. I know some of you will have different thoughts about that. Some people
will be saying you 100% shouldn't and other people trying to get back to some kind of normal.
Well for me I'm getting on a flight today. I'm flying to Spain to see my mum and while I've been
lucky enough to be with one side of the family here in England for the past few months, my mum
has been in Spain for that time so now I'm gonna go and see her. I don't know, there's no perfect
answer to it. I don't know when is the perfect time to travel again or to get on a plane but for me
right now is today. I'm going to show you exactly what that's like.
All right, take care. You too. It's been a good three and a half months. Yeah,
well nearly four. Four months next week. Yeah. See you when I see you.
All right, I'm heading through now. I'm not going to film with my main camera going through
because you know I don't want to put anyone on edge. I'm just going to film with my phone
and see how this goes. I've got my mask obviously.
I mean so far it's been fairly normal other than everyone wearing masks and you know all of this
being closed but people are pretty calm. Everyone's spread out, respecting the social distancing.
Pretty much everyone has a mask. Yeah, that's it. This seems to be the only shop that's open.
People queuing. I don't need anything.
So far, next stop. I gotta tell you, it's been a while.
It does feel a little bit good. Okay, I've just come through. You have some health form that I
had to fill out beforehand so I've just given that in and that's it. It was a health form
to say that I haven't had any symptoms, that I feel okay. I haven't been diagnosed or anything
like that and now I'm through. I just need to grab my bag and then that's it. Fairly pain-free.
I'm here!
So masks are pretty much compulsory everywhere other than when you're eating or drinking.
Yep, that's right. So sitting down here, I can take my mask off but anywhere else,
you have to have it on. Even just getting up off the table now and walking,
you have to have your mask on. Yeah, good to see you, man. It's still such a... I was trying to think
like what I actually want to say. It's still such a weird one to encapsulate because there's no
properly good answers. What about? Just about this in general, whether or not it's fine to
fly here, whether or not it's fine to wear a mask or not, whether everyone should be
wearing masks all the time. I mean, it's so unsafe. It's okay for us to hug now I've got
a plane or anything like that. No, it's like when I first moved here from, you know, I didn't,
I haven't hugged a man at all. I told you I don't want to hug anyway, but she sort of hugged you
because he goes past that point. Yeah. You know, so, but I was determined that you and I were going
to give each other a hug because we're sharing a room anyway, so make no odds, you know, but like
you're saying, I'm still sharing the same household with Adam and Bob, so it doesn't really make much
sense other than enforcing the hug on them. Yeah, we were allowed one hug.
I was only allowed one as a child. Yeah, I got a pat.
Okay, so this is a local Spanish market. You have to get anti-vac on your hands before you go in
and then as you see, like everyone masks all the time. It's fine in Spain, it's easy.
Okay, that's it. I'm in Spain now. I've got to see my mom and my nan and my uncle and everyone's
good. I know people are at different levels with travel right now and countries are accepting
people in different ways or they're staying locked down or they're not, but for now, Spain has said
they're open and as long as you wear a mask and stick to the rules, then you can travel here.
I'm going to be here for at least a few weeks, so I'm going to show you what it's like and show
you some of the things we are getting up to, obviously in a responsible way, but let me know
what you think as well. Let me know in the comments below if you're ready to travel yet, if you've got
any travel plans for the summer, if you're going to do it or if you're going to stay at home or
whatever. There are obviously massively varying opinions on this right now and yeah, it'll be
interesting to see what you think and what it's like where you are right now. For now,
thank you for watching and I'll see you in the next one.
