Welcome to the Canal de Artemaster!
Today we return with one of those realistic drawings that you love,
And that's why, taking advantage of the premiere of the new Super Mario Bronx movie,
I'm going to be drawing a Super Mario with colored pencils,
with as much detail as possible.
I had a lot of desire to draw something realistic again.
So without further ado I hope you like it and let's go with it.
Great, because we're going to do it.
Let's start with this big drawing of Super Mario Realista.
And I have to say that apart from the fact that Super Mario is a super iconic character,
Everyone knows him.
I'm very much interested in drawing him, as he looks in the film.
Seems spectacular, very well represented,
And the truth is, I just got into a rush to draw it.
Apart from the fact that I've been looking and really doing it for years that I didn't draw anything realistic,
How quickly time passes.
But here we are to give once again the 100% making a realistic drawing
The ones who carry a lot of work behind them,
That's exactly what this drawing has taken me 14 hours to do,
And I know that for everyone who watches the videos and doesn't draw,
When I tell you 14 hours, you put your hands on your head and say,
But how are you going to take so long to make a drawing?
But really in drawings as detailed as the one we're going to do today
It takes that much time if we want to do it in great detail.
And all those who have tried to make a drawing of this style
I'm sure you understand me.
And well, for the sketch he was using a 2B pencil
That is neither very hard nor very soft,
And we're doing it in a super-smooth surface,
All those materials I'll leave in the description as always.
And that's good, really here the sketch is not the most difficult
The real detail and the complication comes in the colored,
In realistic drawings, as you know, the sketch has to be as simple as possible.
Now we start to erase the areas we want to color,
I always say the graphite pencil along with the colored pencils.
They don't get along very well, that's why we're going to get cleaned up before we color.
But we are not completely lost.
Only partially so I can keep watching a little bit of the trail.
And guides us to every sketch we've ever made.
Entonces como ya puede apreciar ahora with our favorite colored pencils
We're going to be coloring in the first instance the arm on the right side
And for that I'm gonna be using several shades of red.
From darker to brighter,
And yet this is what I'm going to be doing the textures of the folds, the shadows
And all the reflections that could be in the texture of the clothes.
This time I'm going to be using Prismacolor pencils.
But also the pencils Caran d'Ache that I have there quite abandoned
And they cost me a million dollars so I want to use them from time to time,
But for the moment all the red part I'm gonna be doing with Prismacolor pencils
in which I will be using more or less between 4 to 5 distinct shades of red
I also like a little white and some yellowish to give some reflections.
And it's like Super Mario has a big part of the red color design.
Including también la gorra,
I must say that this whole thing was a little monotonous.
In the sense that all the rats were making the same color mixtures
With those same 4 or 5 tonnes
So in all that part it was more a matter of having enough patience
And try to do everything with care and detail.
More the fact that I'm looking for and changing colors continuously
We know that depends on the best if we are making a realistic portrait
We have to change several shades of color on the skin, for example
But anyway, I have to say it was pretty entertaining.
Fill that whole part in red.
And I wanted to take this picture with patience.
But the truth is that I've been doing it for so long that I've never made a realistic drawing.
I didn 't want to disappoint us.
So good, ya with all the red part of the clothes
We're going now to the mouth, to the interior concretamente.
And we're going to be coloring first in black.
And then for the tongue with a little bit of magenta and rosado.
We 'll also finish detailing the M de la gorra.
What's going on?
I also carry some reliefs
So let's give you a little detail
And now yes, you're with all the red tones listos
We're going straight to the Blue Tones.
Which we're gonna be using to make the mono tejano
What do you wear Super Mario?
And we're actually gonna be doing a little bit of the same thing.
a escoger between 4 and 5 tones distinct de color azul
Here directly even I'm going to be adding black color
In some places that require it, where there is much shadow
And if you notice, first I add the dark tones.
In the shadows that require it
And then gradually I 'll add the clearer tones in order.
This allows me to do the degraded things I'm doing.
With the most smoothed appearance possible
Although I have to say that here concretely
I was looking for textures of Tejana clothes.
The color that was not enough to make you degraded
But it was a more brush color from rays.
Which allowed me to give that look of Tejana texture
of pant, of jeans
I was afraid at first because I didn 't know if I would be okay with that effect.
I never did it in a realistic drawing in color.
But I think I finally solved it pretty well.
And get more or less the look I was looking for
That's actually later, almost at the end of the drawing.
We 'll finish finishing and give you more effects.
This was also a repetitive part in the sense of the same colors
in the same area
But it was very comforting to see how they were coming out.
Little by little all the details and buenos resultados
And as I said, it's all happening so fast.
But it is in each of these parts
It took me several hours to finish it.
And we're going to another big section.
That's the part of the skin
And this is where I was really most afraid that I wouldn't get it right.
Because above all in this design of the film
What's that?
It has a very soft skin.
And get that texture by degrading it.
Because sometimes it's quite complicated.
I'll leave everything as it is.
I don't know if I can explain.
So I chose to use the Caran d'Ache
In this part of the face
Along with some Prismacolor of course
But taking advantage of that son is super super soft.
Los Caran d'Ache wanted to use them.
to get that texture as soft as possible of the skin
I've been using them for a long time.
You didn 't really remember how good you were.
We did a review a while ago.
Surely many here you have seen that
But it is what it is, really what would highlight of the Caran d'Ache
They have a capacity of capa capa spectacular
It's very difficult to get sober.
And that's in a way because the truth is that it did make it easier for me.
It's time to make that skin texture pretty smooth.
For all that, yes, in this case we are using
Basantes tonos distinguidos (very different in tone)
from tonos rosados, tonos beige, tonos amarronados
Other, including mixtures of fruit and vegetables
The variation in skin tone
No, it's the same in every way.
So here's the thing, we have to go different.
the range of colors
I have to choose the tones I want to use.
A la hora de hacer una sección de color. It is time to make a color section.
For example, the skin
What I do is first select very well
The 4 or 5 colors I'm gonna be using more
And then as I'm coloring
I see I need a concrete tone that I don't have there by hand
I can't find it.
That little by little with the experience
You're gonna be aware of when you need to use
One or another color
I'm using all the colors I can.
You have to know exactly where and when to use it.
And that's only achieved with practice.
And lately I'm doing a little more directing
I don 't know if you 'd like me to do something direct, do something realistic.
Maybe no drawing is as elaborate as this.
But I don't know, we could draw something tiny
Decide what you think the idea is.
So, good, let's go to the bigot.
In which I will be giving first a cap of marker a base of alcohol
Well, really not a black.
It's like a pearl of great price.
And this was an experiment.
I didn't really know if I was gonna get along or not.
But, well, the idea was to make that cloak black or half brown.
So then I can make those bigot pelitos with great ease.
This way the contrast would be enough.
using the colored pencils with clear tones
as marron claro y blanco
Making you stand out so much.
Thanks to that very dark background we gave him at the beginning in the bigot.
And this, besides, will speed up the whole task.
The truth is that it has a rather curious effect
So then we will also give the shade relevant to the teeth
And we'll keep doing the same effect of the bigot too in the patillas.
In fact, as I saw it had worked quite well
to use the marker in the bigot and in the patillas
I can also apply the same technique in the cejas.
So first of all, that very dark cloak with the marker.
And then I added a little more texture with the colored pencils.
We're going too with the mono buttons that are golden colored.
to make the color gold use black color, brown color, ochre color
And a little yellow cream for the reflections.
With those four tones if we apply them well
We can get a pretty cool effect.
We're going to the eyes.
I'm gonna start making the pupils with a very intense black color.
I need a drawing assistant.
And for the contour of the iris I helped myself to a marker base dark alcohol
All of that of course I do with great delicacy and care
If I make a mistake on this point I can ruin everything.
Then you're with that, with two or three different shades of blue.
I'm going to do all the details inside the iris.
Effectively trying to make that texture with patterns of rayitas
to make you feel better
When you've finally gotten used to the color of his eyes
I'm going to do the reflections with a little white paper.
which allows us to make a totally opaque white reflection
I'm gonna keep adding the shadow on the white part of the eyes.
And for that I'm going to use this lavender color along with a light gray tone.
to give it a little volume and make this eye seem a little more rounded
Then I 'll also use a very sharp black pencil.
And with much care to make everything the top contour
New with the same lavender tone and some more gray tones.
Let's finish coloring this patch that you have in your head.
And so we can give you that texture too.
And now is when comes the really complicated part of the whole drawing
You may think that you don't, but in reality you do.
You are effectively los guantes.
We have to give a lot of different shadows on all sides
and that all have coherence
And well you have to have enough patience to make first all the shadows with the color black
And then I add the gray tones to complement those shadows.
These gloves are mostly in clear gray.
So first as you can see he applied the darkest parts of black
And then I'll be doing the rest of the degradados with all the gray tones.
more dark to clearer
This was a complicated part.
I had enough time to make each of the gloves.
Because I didn't want to stay anything.
But little by little and with patience he was coming out that texture that I was looking for
So I was pretty happy.
Tell me what you think when you draw a realistic picture.
Which part of the drawing is the most expensive?
Leave a comment saying why to see if it coincides with more people
And here we are finishing the second glove.
Because now we have little left to do.
But I 'll give you a detailed review of the whole drawing.
Let's say I do it first, then I 'll do the whole coloring page.
Then at the end of everything I do the most minute details of everything
As you can see I'm detailing the bordado de los guantes
I'm going to go over here and add a little more texture to this whole arm.
And even though these little details may seem like little things
What really gives that touch so realist to our drawings
So don't let the opportunity pass you by to give these final details.
At the end of all your realistic drawings you really will be noticed a lot
And here we are giving the last details of the embroidery with the posca
You see, it changes the texture a lot just by adding those little details.
And with these final details, friends and friends, I had 14 hours to finish this Super Mario.
I hope you enjoyed the process of drawing as much as I did drawing it.
I'll leave you with some final images.
And here we finally have the final result of Super Mario Realista.
I like how it stayed after so long without making realistic drawings.
