Hi everyone, welcome back to my channel.
So today I'm going to be showing you a few things
that I've picked up from Zara and Topshop
for the winter and autumn months.
Okay, so I think I'm going to start
with the things from Topshop
and I haven't opened a lot of these yet.
So they're still like, I've just taken them out of the bags.
This is kind of an unboxing-ish.
Oh yeah, by the way, the light is like going crazy today.
It's like super sunny and cloudy all at the same time.
But one of the things I did want to pick up
was just a little cropped stripy top.
This is from Topshop Petite Range
and I've started buying from the Topshop Petite Range
for cropped things purely because I do actually
quite like wearing things quite cropped now.
I used to just buy from the normal range
because I didn't really want things to be super cropped,
but right now I'm kind of enjoying that.
And this is something I didn't really have in my wardrobe.
I have a lot of stripy tops.
I didn't have a cropped stripy top
and I think this will work really nicely
over my paper bag, tie waist trousers
that I've been buying from Topshop.
So this is the Topshop cropped top.
I have to say, this either needs to be in a smaller size.
I think I've got a 10,
so I think it needs to be in a smaller size
because it's super, like super loose,
but it's also like not cropped enough.
Like I wish there was just like
one or two stripes less of material.
Yeah, it's cute, I'm not sure.
Let me know if you think I should get a smaller size
or leave it like this.
It does hit a really nice point with these trousers actually.
These are a slightly lower cut, for God's sake.
What are you doing?
These are a slightly lower cut than my jeans,
so it looks slightly better with this pair.
But yeah, the top's really cute.
Let me know what you think, this size or a smaller size.
Speaking of the Topshop tie waist paper bag trousers,
I actually picked up another pair.
These do feel a little bit different to the green pair.
The green pair are like incredibly soft.
These feel a little bit less soft.
I hate the fact that the high street
can be very inconsistent with things like that.
It's like the same pair of trousers,
it's just a different colour,
but the material feels so very different.
So we'll see how these fit when they're on.
But basically, I love my green pair so much.
And they are basically sold out now in the green,
and I know you guys bought a lot of them.
But unfortunately, it was really hard for me
to find a second pair, and because of the new puppy
and her very sharp little claws,
I did want a pair that were comfortable enough
to wear around the house,
but that I didn't mind her scratching.
And I did just want the same pair in green,
just to laze around the house and have one mucky pair
and one really nice pair
that I wear out to meetings and stuff.
But I just picked these up
because the green was unavailable,
and I'm just gonna wear these around the house
because they are so nice and comfortable
and really stretchy.
Can you see that stretch?
It's got so much give.
It's got so much to give.
Kind of feeling like I'm over jeans at the moment,
like I have one pair of jeans that I really enjoy wearing,
and most of the time I just find
any other pair of jeans really uncomfortable.
So I'm hoping that these look as nice on as the green ones.
I might show you a clip of me wearing the green ones
so you can compare.
This is the khaki pair of trousers
that I was talking about.
The beige pair actually look awful.
So I thought I'd show these instead
as the better alternative.
I definitely prefer the colour of these.
They're way, way more flattering.
Next we have a little jumper from Topshop.
This is a cropped fisherman's knit,
and I love knits like these.
And this is honestly,
I think this is gonna be one of those things
I have to buy two of
because this is my ideal knit.
The pattern of the knit, I think, is beautiful.
The colour is beautiful.
This is one of those pieces that I wear year in, year out.
I think that's very, very timeless.
So definitely say if there's one thing
you're looking to buy for autumn, winter,
I would get a jumper like this.
See, I picked this up in a 12.
I would have ideally liked a 10,
but this was the only size that they had available
and I really wanted this jumper.
It might be even better
because it's a little bit slouchier.
This is the cream jumper.
I think I probably could have done
with the next size down in this.
It's just like, it's a little bit too loose on me.
I don't know.
Let me know what you guys think
because sometimes I think like the slouchy oversizedness
is kind of cute.
I might have to try on with a few different things
and see how I feel, but let me know.
I think this kind of cut also creates like a rounded shape,
which is not so flattering.
I don't love it when jumpers do that.
I like it.
I think I just need the next size down.
So I'm probably going to wait for this
to come back in stock.
I think at the moment,
one of Chop Shop's main problems
is they're not stocking enough of everything.
They have lots of stuff on their website
that's all really amazing,
but they don't have enough stock of everything.
Like everything goes out of stock super, super quickly.
Okay, next we have a pair of shoes
and some of you guys might recognize these.
Do you recognize them?
Do you?
So anyone that's been watching my channel for over a year
might remember these boots.
I got these boots from Chop Shop, I think last year,
maybe the year before.
I want to say it could have been the year before,
but they're like a sock boot.
I can't remember what they're called.
They're called the May boots this year.
I can't remember what they were originally called
when I purchased them a couple of years ago,
but basically these are one of the most flattering boots.
They're very, very simple
and they're not like incredibly comfortable,
but on me, my other ones were so incredibly flattering
and they are looking very worn.
But I did want to get a spare pair.
I always, when there's something I've been wearing
for over a year and I still love it
and I don't see myself not loving it anytime soon,
I always do tend to buy a second similar pair if I can
because I think it just makes good sense.
So yeah, I picked up a new pair.
I'm very, very excited to start wearing them
and get them broken in.
And these are the Chop Shop May boots.
As you can see, they are quite slimming on the ankle,
especially if you wear black trousers.
These boots are incredible.
They just really streamline your legs.
This is like my number one shoe essential for the winter.
And then we have this from Chop Shop.
So this might seem like a very un-me thing to have,
but I don't own any waterproof items of clothing ever.
I don't think I have for the past 16 years of my life.
Because we have a dog
and I need to actually go outside with her regularly.
Last winter, I just got soaked all the time
and I never had anything with a hood
and I'd end up taking an umbrella on dog walk.
So I bought this just as a little thing
that I can throw on when it's raining
and I need to take the dogs out.
I think it's gonna come in very useful,
especially for the spring, summer months as well,
when it's raining constantly but it's not freezing.
And it's pink and it's got hearts on it
and who doesn't love that?
So this is the little heart-shaped rain back.
It's so cute.
It's a perfect size.
I think I got this in an eight.
I'm really, really happy with it.
It's just so super cute.
And it'll make me actually want
to wear something waterproof.
Because I normally am that person
that never, ever is like,
I don't need waterproofs now.
When you have a dog, you do.
Yeah, super cute.
Gets a thumbs up from me.
Okay, next we're moving on to the stuff from Zara.
Oh my God, there's three boxes of stuff from Zara.
And to be fair, in my defence,
a couple of things are quite big.
So first up, we have a pair of boots.
And this is the style of boot that I'm quite into.
At the moment, it's very Louis Vuitton.
They're doing kind of like the really high block,
almost platformy style biker boot type thing.
But yeah, this is Zara's take on those boots.
Zara aren't particularly famous for their comfortable shoes.
So I'm gonna see how I go with these.
I'm gonna try them on around the house
and then I might have to take them back
if they're not comfortable.
But I just love the pattern on these.
They're like a platform Chelsea boot.
And then they've got this patterning on them,
which reminds me of like my school shoes as a kid.
And it just makes it feel a little bit more feminine.
And these are the Zara boots.
These boots are just so, so gorgeous.
Don't know if you can see the detailing on them.
This is that little like dotty kind of-ness.
I think they work quite nicely with these trousers as well.
I love this whole look actually, this is great.
And then the next thing I've bought,
I haven't actually got this out the box yet.
We shall see.
This was kind of on a whim.
I don't know, it's very structured.
I actually now I'm realising it has shoulder pads,
which makes me love this even less.
But yeah, it's quite like a structured
and tailored look for me.
It's not something that I'm super into at the moment.
But this is basically a little blazer dress.
No, playsuit?
Dress?
Playsuit?
Can't remember, I think it's a playsuit.
But it's got little lacy trims on the sleeve.
Okay, I actually love this.
I really wasn't expecting to
when I pulled it out of the box.
But now that I've got it on,
I kind of understand why I ordered it in the first place.
It's really cute.
I do wish it had pockets,
because the fact that I can't slip my hand anywhere
is really annoying me.
But I think with a pair of boots,
like black ankle boots,
does take this from being quite smart,
which is not my vibe necessarily,
to being that little bit more like cool and dressed down.
I really like it.
I think it's gonna be really nice for like winter events
where I want to look smart,
but I also like have meetings and things like that.
I just have like a nice coat over the top.
I think it will work nice with tights as well,
which is always important because I just,
this winter I cannot be doing bare legs.
Okay, so next thing.
It's kind of another one that I was like,
why did I do this?
The winter is coming.
Summer is over.
This dress is just so pretty and autumnal.
I kind of couldn't help myself.
It's got orange flowers on it.
It's like a black base colour.
And it's basically like a super long midi dress,
but on me, because Zara don't ever cater for people
that are under like five foot six, it's a maxi dress.
But I thought this could be quite cool
for like the warm autumn days and things like that.
It's very, very autumnal and very pretty.
So yeah, I could just imagine it with like my hair
in a little bun and hoop earrings.
So we'll see how this looks on
and whether it actually looks any good.
Fingers crossed, fingers crossed.
Otherwise the actual clothing things I bought
in this haul could be a massive fail.
Okay, so at first I wasn't sure on this
and then I belted it and now I like it.
Although it does have a seam that cinches in at the waist,
it sits quite odd.
The big black belt in the middle,
it makes it look really cool.
And with the boots, I really like it as well.
Then we have this jacket, which I love.
I really want this to look good.
I'm hoping it does.
It's like this gorgeous, like emerald-y, forest-y green.
Oh my God, it is beautiful.
Like this colour.
These types of colours, as you will tell
from the rest of this haul,
these types of colours this season, I am so into.
Okay, so this is the green duster coat.
I fricking love this.
Even this outfit actually,
this all kind of works quite nicely together,
like the different greens.
Yeah, it's just like a nice little throw on
and I love the sleeves on it.
They're all like ruched and elasticated and tight.
I just think it's really, really cool.
I am so, so pleased with this.
The colour is just, it's just insane.
Ta-da!
Love it.
Then we have another dress.
Clearly I was in a dress mood
when I was browsing Zara the other day.
Picked up this one.
I don't love the print on this right now.
I don't know if it looked different on the website
or I was just in a bit of a weird mood,
but yeah, this has like a little bow at the collar
and then it's like almost smock style
and it falls just into like this cute little flowy,
it's almost like a double layered skirt
and it's very cute.
I think it would look really nice
with over the knee flat boots.
Okay, so another one that surprisingly I am on board with
despite not liking it on first impressions.
Again, I did feel like this one did need a little something.
I do think that it just breaks all of the floral up a bit
if you have like a belt in the middle
and also it has these tie bits,
which means that you can tie it like this.
I'm gonna show you.
I don't love, but you might.
Okay, that being said,
actually, no, I've tried it.
It's not too bad.
In terms of what I will wear it with,
I think leather or suede jacket all the way.
Also a long coat as well
or a long duster coat would look great.
Hold that thought.
Hold, please caller.
So yeah, it looks really, really cute.
Oh, let's undo this.
That's just bugging me.
Everything loose, so like the neckline loose,
just the duster coat loose.
I think this is a really cute autumnal outfit.
Next box we have disappearing behind the box.
So these are a pair of over the knee boots
that are slightly pointed at the front
and then they have this like elasticated material
on the back of them.
So they're like a faux suede on the front
and then it's elastic-y stretchy material on the back.
And I have briefly tried these on
just out of sheer excitement for these shoes.
And I have to say,
I think these could be a winner for me this winter.
They're not like super comfortable on the heel.
That definitely needs a lot of like breaking in.
It's very, very stiff.
The elasticated part of them means that they're not,
they don't fall down
and they grip to your leg really nicely, but not too tight.
And on me, they are the perfect length.
I think if you were taller,
this would probably just maybe just cover your knee.
If you're super tall, it might kind of be mid-knee,
but on me, it's just over the knee.
It's like the perfect point for it to come up to.
I'm really excited to get a lot of wear
out of these this winter.
And these are the over the knee boots.
Yeah, they look super cute.
I like them with this dress a lot.
I think it makes the whole thing look very autumnal.
They also look super cute with the duster coat as well.
I love these.
These are great.
And then we have this bag.
Oh my God, the colour looks so different on camera.
I don't know if it's because I'm holding it up next to pink,
so it looks different,
but this is like this gorgeous greeny blue,
almost like a Chanel style bag.
It's got this little clasp at the front, which you slide,
and then you can pop this open.
And it's got the most gorgeous suedey, velvety lining.
And it's really nice and spacious on the inside.
It's got two sections and then a pocket.
It's got a nice little silver chain as well
with a blue strap at the top.
And then you can also make it more of a clutch as well,
which I really like.
I think this will work really nicely for evenings.
I don't have a lot of eveningy bags.
Most of my bags kind of work for day more than nighttime.
And I normally just wear my Chanel out at night,
but I think this is a nice alternative
because it's a little bit more colourful.
The silver makes it a bit more of a relaxed vibe.
It's kind of a perfect clutch size as well
for popping under your arm,
but you can still fit and carry a lot of stuff with you,
whereas with a lot of my smaller bags, I can't do that.
So I think this is gonna be one of those Zara bags
that I end up keeping for a really long time.
And then finally, we have this bag, which is a backpack,
and it's so, so cute.
Again, the colour of it is very much more green
than the colour that is coming up on camera,
but it is so gorgeous.
It's got this little silver clasp at the front,
and then it opens up and you've got poppers
so you can make it wider.
And then you've got a pocket in the back.
This would be a great book bag
if you have to carry a lot of books
for school, uni, whatever,
although slightly impractical with the British weather.
But yeah, I think this is so, so cute.
It's also got this little bit that hangs at the front.
I'm not sure if it's just meant to be
like a cute little accessory,
but you could definitely put a lot of pom-pom on this
as well, I'm just saying.
But yeah, it's got nice leathery straps as well
that you can adjust.
I just think it's so, so cute.
And I like the size of this as well
because I have my Chloe backpack, which I love,
which is also in blue.
It's much more of a mini backpack,
whereas this is slightly bigger,
so it'd be slightly better for days out
or if I need to carry my little MacBook,
I'm pretty sure, pretty sure.
It might fit in there, I don't know.
But it would definitely fit an iPad
if I needed to carry my iPad around
or anything like that.
Zara's Bag Game is definitely back on track this season.
I loved so many of them.
I actually had to stop myself buying a third blue bag
because that would have been a bit excessive.
Oh, also, I forgot to show you this.
It's a really cute little cream hat
with a blush, baby pink bobble on the top.
And I love it, it's so cute.
That bobble is ginormous.
So that is it for my Zara and Topshop haul.
I really hope you guys have enjoyed this.
