WEEKLY VLOG: Have I Failed Already??? Trying On Jeans Haul + New Job First Day | Suzie Bonaldi

So we've had a minor emergency this morning. Good morning. Hello. I've lost my brunette dry shampoo I am so thankful that I went to space nk last week and bought that living proof dry shampoo because it was so severely hair wash day What i've done it would either be a slicked back situation or i'd leave the house with greasy hair and have to dry shampoo My hair in the streets terrible Anyway, someone please remind me to rub this in before I leave. We have a very exciting morning It is emilia liana x el capini day. It's lunch launch day But they actually launched on sunday and the jacket is sold out, but I have here the golden labubu Let me tell you I am obsessed With this jacket it goes with it just goes with everything I actually didn't realize how much I was missing just like a plain black jacket in my wardrobe Like everything is either like a brown leather or what else have we got? We have one black leather jacket, but it's like croc Material. Oh, no, we have a cropped one. One is too big. One is very cropped not overly wearable on an everyday basis this Throw it on with leggings. You're done. It's perfect I've worn it to the park so many times emilia joked in her vlog that it made a perfect picking up the kids from school Jacket, but it actually does I am officially Kabuji mom, however, I have no idea what i'm wearing to this event So we need to figure that out and we need to figure that out asap in a not so shocking twist of events I am running late and i've just realized This bit of my hair today is just not i've curled this bit of hair like five times What is happening? My hair's really giving like I knew I didn't want a big curl So it's just given me no curl at all And it's just that time of year where I am actually roasting as well So the fact that i'm sweating in this room is not helping if you're doing a loft conversion Get aircon is all i'm saying break the budget. You won't regret it. Anyway, I actually ordered some new jeans Maybe i'll wear some of the new jeans. We'll see. I have to say I feel like I failed already at the being chic thing because I have ordered Bootcut jeans in a low rise and I feel like this is probably the least chic thing I could have ever Ordered. Oh, wow. I didn't see the back pocket. These are gonna have to go back No, that's it. That's that's a no even for me sad. They're probably gonna fit really nicely as well Anyway, I ordered bootcut jeans. Yes, I did because I just feel like they go really really nicely with the new tops that I bought These little ones so many of you loved the black one that I was wearing in the last vlog. They're so nice Like three quarter length sleeve which is a very very I feel like i'm really backlit three quarter length sleeve Slim fit a very flattering fit on me. I remember when these were like in fashion when I was about 13 and I used to wear them all the time and I felt like That girl and I still do now when I put them on i'm like this is a very flattering cut for me And when I put this on I was like, do you know what this needs? This just needs a pair of bootcut jeans. So I did in fact Buy some bootcut jeans. Oh, these are so nice. These are these are from gap. So this is This could pass for chic. I don't know. Oh My only reservation with gap is that they don't make their clothes for like anyone other than an athletic figure But yeah, i'm gonna i'm gonna try these because I feel like they're not too extreme a bootcut. These could be absolutely gorgeous These unfortunately weren't in a low rise though Which makes me sad because I do feel like on a short torso a low rise very flattering like really proportionately Nice. Anyway, I need to i'm gonna put that white top on because i'm sweating in this I need to get out But I love the fact that at the moment Everyone's like are you excited for autumn? The brands are like autumn content and i'm like where? It's 23 degrees. It's still summer. See do you know what I mean? Just like so Nice and flattering and I love this cut as a mum because I don't know about you guys out there that are also mothers But the little hands Constantly pulling like when you're wearing like a vest top that sits here My bra is just constantly on show and I hate it. I hate it I should really invest in vest tops that come with a built-in bra because that would solve me a lot of issues But then would my boob just be out would it would it just be out? Anyway, I really like a higher neckline But this is this gives like a little bit of oh, you can see the necklace so you can yeah, it's just nice there's a little bit of something i'm not like You know, I just feel like this is so much more flattering than the round cut of my skims tops Even though I do still love you skims These need a trim on the bottom for sure. Wow I've actually not had a pair of jeans in so long. I've been like flush Like tight on the bum flush on the back there's normally like Gaping that's so nice. Wow gap for jeans. Who knew? Yeah, I need to trim tiny bit off like I want it long but not I want it to be like there, you know Does this angle just make me look really short? I mean I am but these are really nice and actually they're not too Too high-waisted like by some miracle. We're sitting below the belly button So if you are taller those will be like more of a low rise I really like them Do they fit my experiment of trying to dress more chic? I don't know about that, but they are a really gorgeous pair of jeans really nice cut I wish they did a different color. Like I don't know there's something about the color That's maybe a bit maybe a bit too retro for me, but as a nice fitting pair of jeans I will take it these bashful ones have uh wings on the pockets. I actually don't mind this. I feel like that is better Than the other pair. These are slightly lighter wash. They're also in petite which still seem very long, but let's try them on I've got these in a size 38 bershka sizing. I hate it. I hate it. I hate it here I did Try and size up where possible when buying bershka items I bought a top from them over the summer and I had to buy in a large like I ordered it three Times three times. Okay Wow, no, these are nice I could live without the back pocket Uh detail, but these are really nice. These are a little bit more of a flare than the gap jeans I think the gap jeans are maybe a bit more flattering But I love the fact that these are low rise if the gap ones have been low rise It would have just been like perfect. No notes. I'm done. I really like the fit of these around here And around the bum, maybe I should try like a more slim leg from bershka in a low rise That could be it that could be what I need. However, I did I did order a set from Top shop, which could be quite nice. Here we are. This feels this isn't the material I thought it was gonna be I thought it'd be a bit heavier Find that on asos like the top shop stuff is shot so far away sometimes that I Literally can't tell what the material is going to be like. These do fit like my foot fully fits on the shoe The sling back itself is the issue. It's another it's another jeans trial I'm, just gonna try on a new pair of jeans every day apparently so I did in fact order a pair of low rise Straight leg jeans. These are from bershka and I really like them. However They're very long so they're gonna they're gonna need a severe Trim i'm gonna trim them just a little bit longer potentially than I would ideally like then i'm gonna take them to debbie for the alterations and she can You know, I think that's our best option because then I can wear today but I don't have to like deal with the frayed hems Forever and it is raining today so we cannot be dragging on the ground But yeah, really happy with the fit of these They fit really well across like the back and the bum like really nice and stretchy as well nice and comfy This is like low rise is good for today. Today is my first day at bw collective my nail residency So I want to be comfortable. I also don't want to turn up in leggings quite yet Like that's day two But I thought i'd make an effort and put some jeans on something with a non-elasticated waistline for my first day But I love these I think they can sit a little bit lower as well But excuse the mess it does just get worse in here So these are the jeans you can pull them up a little bit depending on how high you kind of want the waistline to sit I really like them. I like the wash as well. This is a really good wash Sorry, we're just really blurry because i've zoomed in. I really like them. This wash is a good Wash like a good everyday Wash, not too blue. I am home I really get to tell you this morning. I went to get I usually get the train. I like getting the train this morning Of course, I check in the morning. Everything's fine. Like the train times are fine Everything is fine in the time that it takes me to go and get ready. This always happens everything gets cancelled so I literally was like ready to leave the house went to book my train and I was like This is why I don't book my train because I never actually end up using my ticket. So I had to Drive into Brighton and then rock up and pretend everything was fine and that I wasn't insanely flustered So best believe saturday morning I will be up bright and early and i'm gonna go in like two hours ahead of what I needed because that was so stressful that's so unnecessary because why like I shouldn't need to be somewhere two hours before I actually need to be there just because Uh, anyway, if it was my normal job, I'd just be like sod i'm going to be a bit late I really hope you don't mind. However, when you're doing someone's nails and they've traveled an hour and a half An hour and a half to come and see me. Anyway, I've wrapped day two of my nail residency. My client today was so lovely I absolutely loved her. I really hope she comes back. She's so cute It was one of those moments where the parasocial relationship works and it doesn't feel weird and I was like this is amazing love And so if all of my clients could be like her I would honestly be the happiest person on earth do I Think I may have and this is me being really And honest, maybe I shouldn't say these things on the internet But do I think I may have bitten off more than I can chew in terms of two full days a week Paying for a two day a week residency when I actually to get started with this I had two clients who need their nails doing every like minimum like Two two weeks. I fear I may have gone in at the deep end So this is going to be an interesting month Um, we're going to see how this works out if I drop down to like one day a week Or even less than that just know that it's because actually starting That many days a week when you basically have no clients is actually that's a really big target to hit And I fear I did not think this through like i'm not even joking Like it's not like I thought it through and i'm saying I didn't think it through now because i'm like it hasn't worked out And i'm embarrassed like genuinely I didn't really think about that I didn't if I There's a very big Oversight for me We live and we learn it could have been a nice expensive estate but like It's it's such a weird juxtaposition because i've got a moment like that where i'm like wow I've really bitten off more than I can chew and then i've got on the flip side the people that have worked in Like over the next few weeks see the things they're not all like like Then the nature of their appointments is some people have just had a full set when i've like just announced They may not they might want to book in but they don't need an appointment for another three weeks So some people are literally booking in like three in three weeks time and I have clients that are traveling so Far to have their nails done by me. So it's such a juxtaposition of like I need more appointments and I feel like i'm not Doing it combined with this overwhelm Of like excitement and awe of the fact that people are actually traveling to get their nails done by me And then there's this I must live up to the hype Pressure that i'm then putting on myself because i'm like, oh my god, my standards need to be out of this world Like to justify someone traveling so far like in my head. I know they're chosen to I'm like, oh my god, I just want to make this like the best experience for someone when they're traveling so far to see me And then also like oh my god, I really hope Again with the parasocial relationship. I really hope and I hope this isn't too awful and breaking the fourth wall but like I hope that I live up to the idea of like what like Honestly, I would be more worried if I actually was a bit performative on camera and i'm really actually not So like there's not a lot to worry about. I am a little bit like live up to like the expectation Because it's weird when you've actually not met someone and you just watch them online and I have had it where there's like someone that i've met that I absolutely love online and they're so funny or so cool and And I will never say who because I genuinely still love them so much but like some people aren't in person and I really hope I am Impossible Okay I think someone is coming from germany like My mind is It's gonna be it for this week.
