In just one day we managed to complete an epic itinerary and full tour of Cebu, including Badian Canyoneering, Osmena Peak, Kawasan Falls and Moalboal for the incredible sardine run - we even got a little surprise at the end!

Travel has changed my life and I have no plans on stopping any time soon. That's why I am now running this video blog showing you how to travel the world continuously.
Good morning, it's 4am and we're just about to leave Cebu to go exploring the island.
Today's our last day in Cebu and we're going to try and fit in four top things to do on the island
all in one day. We're being taken around by Happy Wanderer and we're starting off at 6.30am
with Osminia Peak. We just got dropped to the base of it and it's about a 25-minute hike up
to the top and apparently there's an epic view. Last little bit. Almost there. I am now on the top
of the very peak of Osminia Peak. Wait, I have one more step and I'm on the top.
Now I am. Look at that. That's a view.
Cool. Look at this. My dad doesn't like heights but this is good. This is good enough.
What do you think?
What an awesome view. I didn't really know about this place. I never thought to come here
but they suggested it. Actually my dad knew about it and suggested it. Anton suggested it and
I'm so glad we came. The only slight shame is that I couldn't bring my drone because it just
stopped working a few days ago and this is an amazing epic view but I'd love to be able to
show it to you a little bit better with a drone but I've done my best. This is just the first
stop of the day. We're heading off to three more amazing places but yeah, what a great start to
the morning. Ready to go? Yeah, let's go. Next destination. Puppies. Hey, buddy. Oh, hello.
So cute. How are you doing? Very cute. Let's just stay here.
Next up, we've just arrived at the beginning of Badian Canyoneering.
This has been massively recommended to me and I've seen some photos of it. It looks really cool.
Basically, we're going to spend the next two or three hours jumping into a river
and canyoneering down it. I'm not sure how much I'll be able to use this but I'm going
to get all of it on GoPro and try and show you guys what this is about.
Nice funny ears. Funny ears. I said funny ears. They went into the helmet. We just got to the beginning
of the canyoneering. We had to get a little motorbike up here, a hubba hubba, apparently that's
called. This is how we're dressed and we need to do a 30-minute hike in this to get to the start
point. Explain what hubba hubba means. Hubba hubba. To mate. To mate because it's so close.
Because there's three of us on a motorcycle. Baby goat. Hey, baby goat.
Too scared. Okay, we're almost there. Look at that on the left. Palm trees.
Wow, we're almost there now. Listen to that noise. That is the proper jungle.
All right, this is the first jump. All right, there you go. There goes someone. How are you feeling?
You can do it. My dad's up first. A 56-year-old leading the way.
Might not make 57. Canyoneering. All right, we made it down. That was really cool.
Unfortunately, it's a bad day for technology. The GoPro also stopped working, so I'm just filming on
this now. Yeah, but that was a really good jump and that's just the first one now. I think we've
got a slide next and then loads of other little jumps through. This place is beautiful. I'm going
to have to just keep giving you little updates in between about how cool it is without showing
you all the jumps. But yeah, off to a great start. Okay, take two. Like son like father.
Here goes my dad.
Yeah.
Another little jump and that slide as well, which I just filmed my dad going down
and then I went down after. And we've opened up to this valley. That's really cool. It's all like
loads of different shades of green. Really cool water as well, like as in cool as in cold.
I'm loving this. Look at this. Proper jungle. For someone that doesn't like water, you're doing very
well. It's very hard to do it. Very, very hard. First jump into water ever? Yeah. I mean I've
jumped into a pool, but you can't really count that. Nature or somewhere where it's surrounded by
rocks and people jumping from a lot higher than me. You're doing amazingly. You can keep going.
We just arrived at the middle point of Bajian canyoneering and there are loads of street food
sellers here. This is hilarious. It's like right in the middle of a canyon and then there's like
five people selling street food. To be honest, it's actually a really good idea because I'm
going to grab one right now. I just wanted the sausage. Chicken sausage or the red one?
The red sausage please. Thank you. Halfway snack.
Didn't expect this. We've just arrived to Kawasan 3, the beginning of Kawasan Waterfall,
which is at the end of Bajian canyoneering. And here, where we are, there's also a rope swing.
Do it on time. Go now. There goes my dad. See you later. He loves it.
You ready? Yeah. Can I just go? We just got to the end of Kawasan and we're about to do the final
jump, which is also the biggest jump. And a part of me is like, just skip it. But I feel like I'm
probably never going to come back. So just got to do it. The final jump's done and we've made
it to the end of the waterfall and the end of that awesome canyoneering. Perfectly as well,
just as we got here, our lunch is waiting. They just called it our recovery meal, which I think
we need. We've done enough diving in already. What a day so far. And it's not even over yet.
We're heading back to the car now because we've still got another activity or two to go. So we're
going to go back and then I'll update you on what we're doing next. And this is Kawasan, the proper.
You probably would have seen loads of photos of this, by the way, on Instagram and just generally
when you search for the Philippines. It's called Kawasan Falls. And I think even Do You Travel
and Gypsy Lust put it up. But what they didn't show is this behind. So it's like a proper
attraction now. There's loads of people here. To get those sort of photos with no one else in,
I think you'd have to come here first thing in the morning. Because right now it's just full of
people. What a nice bridge. Top bridge, this. So you say this is Paksama Beach? Yes, it's called
Paksama Beach. Finally today we've come down to Paksama Beach to try swimming with sardines.
It's something that's pretty unique to this area, but I've been told that it's just
sardines all around you. So we're going to go check that out now. Good news is I've just got
my GoPro working after missing out on it for the last bit. Silver lining, at least I get to use it
now. What a perfect end to the day and to the Philippines. Besides just seeing the sardines
there, which there was so many of them all around, I've never seen that before. Also out of nowhere
these two big turtles came out and I've been in the Philippines now for about seven weeks and
that's the first time after about six or seven island trips that I've seen turtles this time,
which is really cool. It's on the last day in the Philippines. We're flying tomorrow and
Palawan couldn't give us turtles, but Cebu did. Massive thanks to the Happy Wanderer today.
They've organized all of this and anyone can book this tour and this itinerary. It's like a
South Cebu tour and from what I looked up before, most of these places you sort of had to do it
yourself, but they sort of put it all into one day, which has been really helpful and useful
and they've taken us everywhere and given us information. So yeah, go check them out because
I'm not just saying it because they gave us the tour today, I'm also saying it because I think
that's a great service for people who are looking to come to Cebu and I wouldn't have been able to
in one day without them organizing it. We also had a great lunch in between too,
and now we're getting driven all the way back to our hotel in Cebu as well, in the city. Yeah,
all around great day. I'm going to stop here because I can't really top that ending. Oh yeah,
I don't know what you thought about the footage. I haven't watched it yet, but my GoPro did stop
working. So actually the shop owner here that rented us the snorkels lent me his knockoff
version of a GoPro. So I'm not exactly sure how it's going to look, but at least I got something.
Tomorrow morning we're heading to Japan, so check back for that. But for now I'll just say
today has been like the ultimate day in Cebu for me, minus doing the whale sharks, which we already
did last week. But yeah, this is all three things we did today I would definitely recommend when
you come to Cebu. For now, thank you for watching, and this is my life. I'm Dan from the YouTube
channel Envision Adventure coming to you from the beautiful Colorado Rockies. You're watching
A Life of Jord, and this is my life.
