The Romanian Countryside | What To Do Around Cluj-Napoca

Good morning, it's 6 30 a.m. And we just got on a bus heading out of Cluj So we are on the way out of Cluj right now, and this bus journey is actually gonna be about five hours this morning Roughly, where are we heading? Viseu de Sus Viseu de Sus, which is a Romanian village, but there's a very important reason why we're going there, which I'm not gonna tell you yet Okay, so we have to change bus apparently Yeah Let's go Pick a seat, any seat Sure How many of you have done that by the way when you're traveling? And you're on the bus and they just suddenly say get off get off and you have to change to another bus Happens all the time We had no idea we had to change We are properly in the countryside now These windows are very dirty Welcome to Viseu de Sus. We are aic, as they say in Romanian We've just got here, but we don't actually have anything to do today. What we came here for starts in the morning tomorrow So today we're just gonna sort of chill and mill around We were sort of hoping that it was gonna be really snowy because this whole region Gets a lot of snow, but instead it's pretty gray and wet. We're gonna make the most of it anyway It's also Romanian National Day today, La Mulțane, 1st of December, so happy National Day This is it, right? Yeah, completely just set that up because we really came in here and Olivia's already here eating a muffin This is our room we only have it for one night because like I said what we're doing we're doing in the morning But we just needed to get a room for the night. And now we're gonna see what this town has to offer So just been looking around quickly and the same as we did in Greece. We have this whole Hotel to ourselves. We are the only guests on the way out We need to lock up the front door of the hotel because we're the only ones staying here That's nice to know This is ours, so this whole restaurant is ours They said we're allowed to use the whole hotel so we can just use this ourselves. Yeah, let's go But of course we have to stop first for coffee and food This is my latte This is my latte. I didn't really do latte here, so this is what you get It's alright Latte for a straw Kind of do the same in Spain sometimes, it's kind of like a cafe au lait And no flat white, it's espresso or cappuccino or coffee And of course a quick snack Can You tell me anything about what that was about Because it's national day today okay, so the Respecting fallen soldiers, basically. Yeah, okay Well, we were gonna check out the museum in this town but It's closed Yeah, it turns out there's not that much to do in this town when it's like this and when it's national day and everything's closed So we are in the abandoned hotel restaurant right now doing a little bit of editing and Also, I just filmed a little bit of a Q&A which I'll put up tomorrow I hope you're enjoying it by the way, because this will be The second video in a row that I've put out which I know I've been pretty bad at recently But I'm trying to get loads of videos out at the moment and I'm enjoying making content and I'm enjoying all of this So I'm gonna keep putting stuff out and keep showing you more of my life What else okay, so I'm trying to make the video we're filming tomorrow super epic So I'm gonna go out and get some drone shots today for that But I'm still not telling you what it is Oh You weren't meant to be part of the video hello mate, how are you? But by the time we got there it was already going dark. So I'll include the best ones in that next video But I think because I also left my dark filter on the drone all the shots were probably too dark But that's the way it goes. We did however get to play with a puppy. So I can't complain Now we're gonna go and take a rest bite from the freezing cold by going to find a nice restaurant And to finish off we have some traditional Romanian food look at this But now I'm gonna enjoy it. See you guys in a minute Okay, actually I came back for two seconds just to say that this food is so probably the best traditional Romanian food I've had since being in Romania I agree Honestly, it's called La Casa in this village, in our town village. It's so damn good You're happy though? Really good food to finish the day again and Yeah, I'm just gonna leave it there We woke up really early this morning and have to be up again really early tomorrow morning to do that sting I've been talking about that we want to do so Then I just say again, thank you for watching and this is my life
