This is Hong Kong, one of my favourite cities in the world. Here we got to explore some of the best photo spots with two of my good friends, who are currently living here in Hong Kong!
Good morning, I'm back in Hong Kong after last night coming back from Macau
and I've already met up straight away with Mr Diego
Damn right, what's up yo?
We're going around all day today to try and find some good photo spots
and some of you might recognise the first place we've come to
There is... I'll get this way first
There is this basketball court in front of these buildings
and I'll show you why
For people wanting to know, where is this?
This is Choy Hung State
Choy Hung State?
Choy Hung State, yeah
And that's the metro stop?
No, that's the name of this place
The metro stop is called Choy Hung on the Green Line
Pretty easy to get here
So it's kind of funny, there's three basketball courts here
and one person playing basketball
while the rest are all taking photos
Used to be a player
Yeah, back in the days, in the 70s
All in all, successful first stop
Where to next, Diego?
I have no f***ing idea
Let's make that happen
We just jumped off the station at Quarry Bay Station
and we're heading to our next little photo spot
before we then walk on down to Central
We're in Hong Kong Island right now
Where I was before was Kowloon
but this is what they call Hong Kong Island
and I think this walk's going to be about an hour
but I've been told there's loads of really cool things to see
Just got to the next spot
Some of you guys may recognise that
We just got a few shots here
and I've also got a shot for a 360 video I'm making
and I'm going to be releasing that soon
in the next couple of weeks
I've been taking around
let's see if it's in my pocket
this 360 camera, the Ricoh Theta
for the last few months
getting a cool shot of every iconic place
and I should be putting that out next week
so I think this is going to be the last shot for that video
One thing we've just found out
is can you see there's a
wrong way, how do I do this?
like that
there's a big shadow like that
going right across the buildings
and a lot of the photos you see here don't include that
but that's because people get here either early in the morning
or just before sunset
so if you're ever thinking about coming to Hong Kong
you need to get to this spot
if you want to take photos of it
in those times I just said
right, change of plan
we were going to walk all the way to Central from here
but we just realised we're actually really far
so I'm going to jump back on the Metro MTR
and head, and then go and find some food there
and now we're in Central
we just jumped off at the Central stop
and as you can see
it's a lot busier
oh yeah, just wait until it becomes night time
you are going to be surprised
so we've just come here to
be around this area anyway
but also to find some food somewhere
so these are the sort of prices here we just stopped off
we've got brisket rice
curry sliced chicken rice
it's about $10 to the pound
yeah that's usually the normal price here in Hong Kong
it's like 4 or 5 bucks per meal
so that's practically $4 or $5
which isn't too bad
and that was very quick, but it'll weigh around
amazing, beef brisket, rice
couldn't ask for any more
what's the verdict?
really good
same for mine, I got beef brisket
and that was some spicy chicken
but both, proper good
we've now just walked over to Man Mo Temple
which is right behind me here
and you can see the way it's set
that looks old
that looks new
so right behind it you've got the high rises
can you look across?
we're going to head in there now
see the contrast?
like old and new
let's see something funny
this is the entrance to the temple
this
is the entrance to the gift shop
so first I make a donation
and then
gets to this
no, the bell
the bell right there
and then the
you hit the bell first
and then now they're gone
ok, Hong Kong is also a very good place to
get electronics
and to get them cheaply
so I've just bought a new phone
literally just came here
bought a new phone and this
is what it looks like vlogging on it
I'm vlogging right now
I just bought the phone
not sure how this looks
this is the Samsung
C9
so
this is the
phone and it's
a Samsung C9
which is basically almost the same
as an S8 but
it just cost me
£200 which is crazy
cheap
for any techie people it's got like 4GB RAM
64GB
internal memory
an octa-core something snapdragon
processor, it's good basically
it's got a nice big screen so I can edit
loads of photos and it's really cheap
way cheaper here than it is
anywhere else I think
but also one other thing
I'm going to sign out the vlog now but first
Diego
I've been wearing this shirt all day
and Diego is about to drop
a clothing company
that's right man, excited
so this is like his new project
and he's going to be talking about it on his channel too
so go check it out, there's loads more
clothing like this that I'll probably be wearing as well
but go have a look, see what you think
can you put it in the description for them?
I can't, it'll be down there
go to the link and you can find this shirt and many others
we're about to go out now
I'm heading to, what's it called?
Lan Kwai Fong
for a few drinks but I'm not going to take
this camera out because that's dangerous
or it's dangerous for me because I'll
lose it, oh yeah, I'll break it
for sure
I'm going to head back to Bucharest tomorrow
see you there, right now, thank you for watching
and this is my life
