INCREDIBLE ISLAND PARADISE OF CORON!!

Good morning and welcome to Coron. I'm staying in the Funny Lion right now, just outside of Coron town. This is our room behind me, me and Rich, and check out the view as you step outside the hotel room. So we've been here for the last two days and spent all day yesterday just chilling out here, making the most of the facilities. We went for a swim in the infinity pool, had an awesome breakfast, and caught the sunset on the rooftop deck, which by the way, the sunset here was amazing. But now, today, there's a guy banging over there, but today we, I'll tell you in a minute. Today we were on a boat trip around Coron to see all of the beautiful places around We just got on this boat, but it turns out we're on this boat and we're going to be dropped to another one because our boat left without us. So far, off to a bad start, but it's going to be a good day. So this is Green Lagoon, which isn't actually part of our tour today. We're about to transfer boats and just got to see this as well. It's pretty beautiful. This is us. Okay. Well, thanks for the lift. Yeah. Cheers. Enjoy. Yeah, you too. Hello. Right. Well, we made it onto the actual tour. Let's get going. This place is incredible. We just got here. It's Twin Lagoons and have a look around. The scenery everywhere is just awesome, but now I'm going to go for a swim. Oh, maybe I should speak for myself. Maybe you were in bliss. It's just the thing I've learned time and time again. That what we need to ask is if and not when. Yes, in my heart of hearts, I wish this would end. But I've lived enough to call and pretend. It feels like, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh. That was insane. That's like no place I've really been before, to be honest. Like, the waters in El Nido were clear, but these waters are just so clear and so green. You've got the whole sort of secret lagoon that you swim into. There's no one there except for us. That was awesome. Days off now to a great start. It's just the thing I've learned time and time again. That what we need to ask is if and not when. Yes, in my heart of hearts, I wish this would end. But I've lived enough to call and pretend. It feels like, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh. It feels like, yeah, yeah. Feels like I'm always gonna get let down. Gonna get let down. Let down. A cool bit of snorkeling there. And those turtles... My voice is, like, shaking. A cool bit of snorkeling there. And those turtles you just saw, unfortunately, I didn't. My snorkel broke, and I had to get back on the boat. But Rich got the footage, so those turtles were cool. And now we're going on a wreck dive. So excited for this one. This one's gonna be cool. Skeleton wreck, right? Yeah, this is, like, the highlight. Okay. So apparently, just behind us here, there is a shipwreck. And I've never snorkeled in a shipwreck before. So this should be cool. It's just the thing I've learned time and time again. That what we need to ask is if and not when. Yes, in my heart of hearts, I wish this would end. But I've lived enough to call it pretend. It feels like... Feels like I'm always gonna get let down. Gonna get let down. Let down. Yeah. Wreck diving. Well, that was awesome. And something I've never done before. Well, actually, I'm just getting through this ship to get back on land. Here we go. Yeah, something I've never done before, but really cool and some really good shots there. Now it's lunchtime. We've just pulled up onto this beach. I'm gonna grab some lunch. Honestly, swimming in a beautiful lagoon, snorkeling all morning, one of us seeing turtles, and then getting to go for a shipwreck. Life could be a lot worse right now. It's been an awesome morning. And now we've still got lunch and then the afternoon. Bon appétit. Cheers. Another epic lunch on the beach. And I just met a fan here as well. So, dude, if you're watching, hello. Thanks for saying hi. Right now, gonna jump back on the boat and head to our final stop. Can you say it again? Man, this is incredible. Check it out. We've just jumped off the boat and walked through a little bit of a chasm. And now we've been greeted with Barracuda Lake. I'm gonna go for a swim. I've never been the one to make plans. It feels like... Feels like I'm always gonna get let down. Gonna get let down. Get let down. Yeah. What an awesome day. After Barracuda Lake, we swam for a quick bit of snorkeling. And that was really cool as well. Yeah. All of the lakes today and the scenery, it's like scenery I haven't really seen anywhere else. Coron has blown me away so far. And now I'm gonna head back to port. That's the last thing for the day. Let's get back to dry land. What's up, Rich? Whoa, whoa, whoa, you gotta focus. I'd love to stay laying here forever, but I don't think we can. Now it's time to go back to port. Yeah, this might have been kind of risky to bring my DSLR out here. But for the shot, worth it. Back on land now. And that was honestly such an awesome day. We didn't really have any idea what to expect when we started out. We just chose one of the tours with one thing we wanted to do on, which was Twin Lagoons. And I know there's lots of other stuff to do here, but that was one of the things we wanted to do. And everything else that came with today just made it that much better. Coron is awesome so far. It's just like... I've said it a couple times, but it's like a place I've never been before. And originally we just planned to stay here for a couple days, but I think we're gonna extend the trip now and stay here for a few more days and explore a bit more. So check back for that.
